Go here all the time with my neighbor. Used to like their brews until I stopped drinking. Love their roasted wings, also weirdly the wedge salad which goes great with wings! My wife always gets the salmon salad, it’s definitely a Big Salad as Elaine from Seinfeld would say. Fish tacos are good too.

Wings, football, beer for some, and friends: a way to slay a Sunday. This was the first time I’d ever made Kennesaw’s Taco Mac my destination, and it was to meet up with some pals. Three of us decided to get wings since that’s what you do at Taco Macs. Another person got a burger and seemed content with it. My lemon pepper wings while large, ended up extra extra crispy(I requested extra crispy) and thus they were slightly dried out. And the lemon pepper flavor wasn’t as pronounced as usual. However, I was very pleased with the broccoli queso casserole I requested as my premium side for 50 cents more. You can’t go wrong with putting generous amounts of cheese onto most vegetables. Mmm. This Taco Mac is on the large size, with a high number of tables and booths. Multiple TVs everywhere allow you to take in the sporting event you desire. The bathrooms were fine: clean and stocked with supplies. The aisles leading to the bathrooms are tight, so you may have to bob and weave your way down ‘em, avoiding crashing into employees or other guests. As for parking, the spaces in front of the restaurant were full but there were a bunch of open slots in the back of the strip mall. Taco Macs aren’t generally famous for the stellar service, but our server checked on us regularly and had a pleasant attitude. Overall, it was a good first time at this location, though next time, I’ll remind myself not to get my wings extra crispy. I’d dole out 3.5 stars but I’m feeling kindly today so I’m rounding up to 4.

First of all I got a free beer before even ordering something at the bar… I’m a fan. Excellent recommendations and great service considering the amount of people there for the championship. My order was perfect and just the right amount of small talk from the bartender. Food was on point, can’t wait to go back.

This place is just for drinking and watching sports because the food is inconsistent and often lousy.

Horrible service and crappy management. This location is like to suffer due to the over population of college(kid) employees. I blame the service on management solely for poor training. Drinks did not get refilled until the check arrived. Service didn’t arrive until the check arrived. When it was time to pay for the food I barely touched, that’s when we were finally being waited on. I tipped b/c i know how it is working in a restaurant. T-Mac is in the past for my family and I moving forward. Rest In Peace T-Mac

Taco Mac was one of our favorites when we lived here in Kennesaw. We are in visiting fur the weekend and had dinner at Taco Mac and was terribly disappointed, the service was bad, the beer was warm and the goid was substandard, we will not be back.

Management handles any issue appropriately. The best thing to do is talk to them so they are made aware of what’s going on and can prevent future guests from experiencing the same troubles

Used to go here weekly with co-workers. Great selection of beer, and if you haven’t already, you should join their Brewniversity program. As far as food, it’s OK, i’ve seen better at other sports bars. The thing that keeps me coming back as a beer person is their selection of craft beer. You won’t find a bigger selection at any other restaurants. Atmosphere is OK, regular sports bar feel with flat screens everywhere. Staff is somewhat good, it’s a hit or miss depending on your server. Definitely my go to place for beer, but not so much for food.

Lunch review. I’ve been here many times while I worked across the street and always enjoyed good service, both at the hostess stand and at the table. Five stars for service. Decent food — burgers, fish tacos, beef on weck, southwestern salad, although this last time I went the menu seems to have shrunk a bit. Didn’t see the beef on weck, which used to be only Wednesdays but then everyday. Now, no days? No Kenwood burger any more? That used to be my go-to order. Never had the wings — it just isn’t something I’d order for lunch and then go back to an engineering office. Not sure if TMac is as good as Taco Mac. Fish tacos used to be two nice sloppy tacos with a side — I liked the cole slaw — not just the two tacos without a side. But now presented on one of those fancy taco holders instead of on a plate! Yay. I’d rather have the side, thanks. Tacos are still tasty. This place used to be quite busy at lunch time, but this last time it was almost empty at 11:30. Has the Taco Mac to TMac transition caused people to stay away? Seems that way, at least during lunchtime. Except for one visit, this review appears to be for Taco Mac, not TMac. TMac brands themselves as an upgrade from Taco Mac. I’m not so sure. Still, A-OK for me.

Over the past 9 months I’ve easily ordered from this location for pick up somewhere around 10x. I’ve loved the food ever since hence my repeat ordering. Without fail, I order roasted lemon pepper wings every time. What grinds my gears beyond belief is the fact that my «it’ll be ready in» time is ALWAYS15 minutes… I always get there 15 – 20 minutes after being told this and EVERYSINGLETIME have waited an additional 10 – 20 minutes for my food. On my most recent visit I sat in the pick up area for 10 and then stood at the window to inquire about dessert since I obviously had time to add it. After standing at the window for about 5 minutes I called over, politely, to the bar/to go attendant to which I was met with«your order will be ready shortly». After being patient for so long AFTER my anticipated ready time the least this individual could do is walk 10 paces to the window to address my concern but apparently she was a mind reader and didn’t need to. After finally coercing her to stop ignoring us to go customers I asked my question about dessert and not about the food I already realized still wasn’t done. After another 5 minutes my food was brought to me and I was told that she«wanted to make sure both orders were done to be fair». This was in reference to the person who arrived after me. The logic for pick up shouldn’t be too different from a drive through. Don’t give me unrealistic times to get my business when there hasn’t been one occasion where that time was correct and don’t tell me that you wanted to give me my food when a whole different customer’s food is ready. In a drive through they wouldn’t hold my food until the order of person behind me was ready. Doesn’t make any damn sense. I get that tending bar can be tedious but step your service up for your to go customers and give them equal attention. I’m not sure if there’s an assumption that since they’re picking up they aren’t going to tip but giving them crappy service is one way to guarantee that they won’t.

What has happened to the Taco Mac that we all grew to love??? Went tonight and had nothing but slow service along with cold and bland food. The menu has lost its way with a bunch of average options rather than focussing on good food. Sad to see one of my favorites in Kennesaw turn into another buy out failure.

The food was good but a bit overpriced for what you get. Wife and I had tacos, and I had the steak version while she had the buffalo chicken. We got the quest appetizer and it was good. My steak tacos were tasty but the street corn that came with it was overwhelmed by what I assume was blue cheese? Overall the food was tasty and we would try it again if we went with friends for a night out.

We had a large group(36) and showed up when the place opened at 11:00am. It was not busy ATALL. It took 40 minutes to have our orders taken. At 12:30 a lot of people still did not have food. They said they had to combine kids orders with the parents before they turned the orders in to the kitchen. What?! Why not turn the kids orders in and then hand out individual checks that the kids can hand to the parents? Smoother, faster and easier. Duh! This is all on management. They need to train the staff on how to handle large parties efficiently before the large parties actually get there.

We don’t have Taco Mac in Illinois, but it appears to be a popular chain here in Kennesaw. I’d liken it to a Chili’s in menu variance and food quality. Service was over-the-top friendly and lovely, which is the norm I am finding here in the south. A friend and I came here and dined on the queso(delish!) and burgers(acceptable!). I also got a wedge salad that was AMAZING, fresh, delicious, blue-cheesy, and appropriately portioned. Food was a little more money than I woulda expected for what we got but overall, a totally pleasant experience.

A Tale of Two Servers It was the best of times; it was the worst of times. Best — Saturday night in a crowded restaurant. The service was incredible; the food was delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable about the beer selection and the service was quick and accurate. Worst — The very next afternoon. We took my daughter and her boyfriend(down from NYC). We sat outside, taking advantage of a sunny day in late winter. We placed our lunch and drink order, with nothing more difficult than a «hold the onion.» My burger arrived first. The waiter apologized, saying he had put the order in separately by mistake. Ten minutes later, two more plates appeared — my wife’s fish and the boyfriend’s burger. My daughter’s burger was still absent. Then, another waiter appeared with three more plates, which he ceremoniously put down on our table. Too bad they weren’t our food,. Still no burger. Finally the burger arrived … with the wrong cheese. The waiter’s explanation? «Oops! I guess i gave your burger to that other table.» Her correct order was finally delivered just as the rest of us finished eating.

Came in here yesterday afternoon to give Taco Mac another try I’ve had poor service at another location. The main reason I wanted to go to TM was for the big beer list I could choose from. I sat at the bar and got there about 4:30 in the afternoon. The bar was not too crowded at that point, but as time went on it got more crowded with standing room only. The service was quite good. The bartenders came around often to check on my status and I was never left with an empty glass. The beer list was good, and I tried a couple of different drafts. The Red Brick Hoplanta IPA was a good choice, but I especially liked the Sweetwater Bobblehead stout that I tried. I haven’t seen that in other bars, so that shows you what one of the advantages of TM is, with their big beer list. Their menu has also been revamped a little. I had one of their flatbreads as an appetizer, and was pleased with the quality. It was like a mini version of a pizza. For dinner I had their soft beef tacos. Those were quite tasty and I would definitely try them again. They turned on the sound for the Braves game that was on at that time, which I appreciate since it helps with the viewing experience. The bar became crowded with some Braves fans and it gave the place a festive atmosphere. All in all, it was an enjoyable way to spend a late afternoon.
