Ok food. Expected better. The buns were soggy and dripping with grease. Gave me a super small to go box.

Nothing special. But if you’re looking for a sit-down restaurant if their food was decent. And the price the middle of the way.

Came here for the salad bar. Felt like a remodeled Denny’s. Service was nice but a little slow. For $ 9.99 got one trip to the salad bar which has your typical salad bar items with six varieties of soup. One trip was plenty. I’d call Sterlings a slightly upscale diner. Go in with that expectation and you’ll leave happy.

Was a great place to eat. I made a complaint about their portions. This is there response. Not blaming you at all, however the menu says«two small pancakes.» Im not sure why you would expect anything other than two small pancakes. We create custom orders every day and would be happy to customize something to your liking if the menu description doesnt fit what you are looking for. However, if you order something that says«small» in the description there is little your server can do to offer you other options. They are there to serve you and take the best care of you possible. They arent going to suggest customized meals to you unless you let them know what you are looking for is not on the menu. We write menu descriptions to ensure no confususion, i appologize if you feel you didnt recieve what you wanted, but i suggest you read the description of what you are ordering next time, reguardless of where you dine. Be careful of the fine print on all their items. The menu has 6+ pages. So you don’t look stupid to them.

After a special annual event held on a recent evening many ones in my congregation were willing participants to getting a group together somewhere for a late dinner or dessert. My husband and myself thought about Sterlings. I called Sterlings around 8:20 pm and spoke to a gentleman whom I believe to be the manger. He explained the restaurant normally closes at 9:00. I told him I had a group of about 15 looking for a place to meet and perhaps we should go elsewhere that stays open longer. He encouraged us to not discontinue Sterlings as an option that they will«take care of all of us.» Well it ended up about 23 of us arrived! They did just as promised and took care of us! The kitchen and service staff were great and very accommodating to such a large group. Sterlings you pulled through for us and we all have a memorable night to thank you for, thank you!

Its like an old school diner, I’d bring family to with great supper prices under $ 15. Much better than average coffee. Despite all the rave reviews, I’m not a fan of the brunch.

One Of my favorite breakfast places. I love the San Francisco omelet and the bacon waffle. I definitely don’t need to eat the rest of the day after eating here

We were on the road late evening and this was our third try at a restaurant. The other two had closed early. Our waiter was great and the restaurant was clean. The interior was very unique in a good way and I enjoyed the vibe. I ordered the pork rib dinner and my wife had the shrimp plate. Both were good but we found the baked potatoes to be very impressive. The only real downer was the manager lectured two waiters about cleaning the tables properly at the booth behind us while we tried to eat. This conversation should have occurred after closing and not while two exhausted travelers were trying to enjoy their break out of the car.

Meh! Overpriced salad bar. For this price, let’s have better quality lettuce not from a bag. Had the double lobster dinner. Now I see why it is so cheap. They were tiny and way overcooked with not frills or garnish on plate. Everything looked too plain. Last time we were served bread with our meal… it was not offered this time. Manager seemed stressed out as he paced around yelling at his help! His help did not seem happy to be working there! For this price, I would look elsewhere for better food and service!

I’m not a huge fan of their prices but they have a great selection, GREAT salad bar and the food is good. I would recommend them, especially when they’re not busy and you can enjoy the atmosphere without the huge crowds they get at peak times.

My first time at Sterlings and I absolutely love it! Crepes are too die for! My server was super nice and allowed me to get two strawberry crepes and 1 banana chocolate. TRYTHEBANANACHOCOLATE, looks and tastes like a masterpiece. People with me got the all-you-can-eat salad bar. So many fresh options! Load 1 plate up and you’ll only have to pay $ 9.99 instead of the original $ 11.99. The one plate was plenty! Couldn’t handle another! We’re from four hours out of town but we will definitely be coming back on our trips up to Pullman!(GOCOUGS!) Ask for Jennifer! Amazing waitress! :-)

Overall, ok experience. Ok food and ok service. Nothing bad, except the soup, but nothing great either. I had a red curry seafood dish and the salad bar. Boyfriend had a burger. The salad bar was pretty impressive. There was a lot there. The only let down was the soups. None of the soup was good, and I tried all of them. Clam chowder was more like potato chowder. Chili was a joke. Chili soup more than chili. Beef barley had no flavor. The chicken noodle was ok. Fries were good. Get the fries. Best part about this place. Burger was a pretty typical diner burger. Nothing special but it wasn’t bad. The seafood red curry was a surprise. I was expecting curry, but there was no sauce. It was red curry powder over the dish. It was pretty decent. Fair flavor. Everything was well cooked. Really liked the shrimp. Overall, this place isn’t bad. Big and diverse menu. Large salad bar. Fair tasting food.

I have nothing. To complain about at sterlings. It is one of my go to breakfast places. Love their chicken fried steak; the best in town! The gravy is average, but customer service makes up for that. The salad bar is always fresh. One person mentioned Fox News. I don’t recall ever seeing any TVs on when I was there. Who goes to a restaurant to watch TV? Food: 5 stars Cleanliness of restaurant. 5 stars. Customer Service: 5 stars.

Ag was hoping for a good birthday breakfast the food was good but our service sucked. We were given waters and sat for over 10 mins waiting for someone to come to our table. I asked the manager If we could get service he said someone would be there in a few minutes and proceeded to help the people next to us who were seated 5 mins after us. EXCUSEME. I felt like race was an issue we were treated terribly… I won’t be a return customer.. Food was good tho. but bad service can ruin a good thing anyday.

Wow. That’s how I’m going to start this, my coworker suggested we try Sterlings since she and I had never been there. We were seated and given water, however not asked if we wanted any other drinks to start. We Browsed the menu and waited for the waitress, which was about 15 minutes since being seated. She came back and took our four orders, to which I finally asked if she could take our drink orders. We ordered 3 diet cokes and a peach tea. We are a tad annoyed with the service at this point but still hope the food can make up for the lackluster service. The food arrived pretty quick. I ordered scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and toast. My food is pretty basic and hard to screw up, so it was okay. Other orders entailed half rack of ribs and mashed potatoes, steak and eggs and the last was a club sandwich. From what I heard the ribs had little to no meat on the bone and were not really edible. The steak and eggs were again pretty simple and hard to screw up but he had to ask our waitress twice to get a steak knife. The Club was ordered with wheat bread, but when she brought it she said«They put it on white, sorry. I forgot to tell them it was wheat.» Terrible customer service. So we ate, and the waitress did ask if we wanted a refill on our diet cokes. I told her No, I was drinking peach tea and she walked away so I had to yell across the restaurant I was drinking peach tea. She nodded and understood, so I thought. She brought me plain unsweetened tea. The menu says peach tea has free refills, but apparently not of the same thing you order. When she brings us the drinks she drops a bill for all 4 tickets, didn’t even ask if they were separate checks. We went to the front to have checks separated and they couldn’t get that right so we ended up paying for each other’s drinks because they were on the wrong checks. I will never go back to any sterlings, ever.

I’ve dined at the Sterlings in Richland a couple years back for dinner and haven’t returned after getting their surf and turf combo. I just can’t explain what it is about restaurants that tend to turn my belly off cause anyone that knows me personally, knows that the key to my heart is thru my belly. That being said my mother in law invited my family out for brunch on a Sunday a few weeks back. I was really impressed with their breakfast offerings they had on their menu. As a frequent guest to McGills for breakfast it was a very nice change up. The décor is much more pleasant to the eyes compared to Mcgills. Restaurant noise was average factoring that NFL football has just started a few weeks prior. I ordered the Gondola which is a biscuit and gravy topped with 2 scrambled eggs topped with real bacon, not that fake bacon(bacos bottle) with a side of hash browns. i can’t picture myself getting fruit cup since the sweet and tart flavor will counter the savory gravy and lightly salty bacon on top. Dish was bomb. Also their brewed coffee was the best ever coffee i had at any surrounding area restaurants, i put two sweet n lows and a hazelnut creamer, thank me later by sending me a compliment. Great place to bring the family to start off your days on the weekend. If you liked this review, don’t forget hit useful, funny, or cool down below! God Bless
