My parent’s adopted the lead dog in the 4^th of July parade in 2003.
She was a gorgeous German Shepard mix with a sign across her chest that said «Adopt Me».
How can you resist?
They still have Chili, and she is a really cool dog.
I have been back to the humane society, when I have found lost or hurt kittens.
You just have to commend people who take their time and very little money and do what they can to care for the animals who fall victim to human stupidity and/or cruelty.
Spay & neuter your animals.
