Staff very friendly and welcoming the second you step into the store. Everyone was very helpful. The samples of salted caramel were delish but the key lime pie was amazing!!! The best I’ve ever had and I’ve been visiting the keys for 15 years.

Quick stop on the way to the car. Great key lime pie. The best thing has to be their key lime fudge. Love that u can see Into their kitchen with those big windows and watch the pie making process. Definitely will come here again. Friendly staff great customer service

A bit disappointed. Was expecting something amazing. Combo café with Sweet Petes is a bit over the top with choices. Key Lime pie — I would have ordered the extra tart — but nobody offered it as an option. Counter staff looked great but were complaining out loud about a variety of things. Open kitchen looked great and the ladies were making the pies! Loved that! Giving 3 stars for crust alone.

Did you really go to Key West if you didn’t try the Key Lime Pie? My sweet tooth was kicking in so I opted for the chocolate dipped key lime pies, and it was better than I expected! The chocolate definitely balanced the tart-ness of the key lime pie. Since the chocolate dipped pies are cold, it was actually refreshing on a humid day. The pie itself was very soft and just the right amount of tart flavored. However if you’re big on tart, you can actually order an extra tart key lime pie that’s on the menu. The establishment also sells some Sweet Pete’s candies that you can choose and personalize in a to-go box. My favorites were the mint chocolate malts(they look like robin’s eggs!) and curry flavored cashews.

Stopped here while visiting Key West because we have seen this business on the show«The Profit» The store has a fun and friendly atmosphere, full of candy and chocolate selections along with a bunch of different pie flavors and sizes to choose from. My husband has the famous Key Lime Pie and I had the Mango Pie. The Key Lime was really delicious and fresh. However, my pie wasn’t that great. The gram cracker crust was soft and sticky and my pie topping had freezer burn in it,(as it was one of the last slices in the pie plate from waging the women cut the pie. Explains why it had freezer burn and the crust was soft.) I would stope back again but would try something else.

Good but our pie was frozen so it lost being creamy. So frozen the spoon actually bent trying to get it thru the pie. Needed a knife. It was clean crowded not a lot of seating. Also sells a lot of candy. It shouldn’t be renamed key lime and candy store.

Spotted this place on Unilocal and decided to stop in on a particularly severe key lime pie craving. This may be my favorite slice of key lime pie yet. It’s not terribly sweet which I actually really enjoyed. And the crust and whipped cream were just amazing. The store itself is very cute as well. Lots of candy and cookies. Will absolutely be back on my next trip!

I’m from Miami. I’m not crazy about key lime pie but coming to Key West and not having one is pretty much a sin I hear. So I looked up the best place to have one and ended up here. Quick conclusion: the place looks like Disney World, but the workers are bland and have no personality(bummer!). The slice was good but didn’t blow my mind.

I just couldn’t leave Key West without trying the Key Lime Pie. I was here back in December of 2015. After watching the sunset, I made a trip to this café to try a slice. Well, as you can expect, it was creamy, yummy, and worth the $ 4 per slice price. I haven’t tried the pie in any other places in Key West, so I can’t compare, but all in all, I was glad I made a visit here.

I wanted Key Lime Pie while I was in Key West. My sister’s friend had gone here so this is where we went. The pie was like 4 dollars a slice. It was cheaper to buy a whole pie but we were leaving the next day so who was going to eat a whole pie? It was yummy. It did not have all the mirangue like the first slice I had so I was happy. This place is more like a candy store so you can buy bulk candy as well. No complaints. I got a few slices to go and was on my way.

Among the 3 key lime pies I tried in Key West, this was the most special one. Unlike others, is very creamy, less sweet and much less tangy/bitter than other pies, so depending on your preferences you will like it more or less. The graham crust is crunchy and quite hard. The pie itself looks and tastes very home made and really fresh. For me, it was just sublime.

Having already tried the key lime pie at the Key Lime Republic, I wanted to try the key lime pie somewhere else. I ordered the chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. It was, indeed, rich and sinful, but I think anything covered in chocolate would taste pretty damn good, don’t you think?! This store also sells a wide variety of candy from Sweet Pete’s. They had the cutest chocolate shoes(pumps, cowboy boots, etc)! Too bad they would melt if I tried to bring some home! I did end up buying this adorable lunchbox with a very creative design just because I can’t resist cute things.

How can you not have a piece of key lime pie when you come to Key West? I would try the two obvious choices: Kermit’s and the Key Lime Pie Factory. Both are very good. Both are worth eating. The difference is small, so I think you can’t go wrong with either one. My perception is the KWKLPC’s pie is a bit richer. Probably the best thing to do is try them both. more than once. Have several taste tests. Mmmmmm Key Lime Pie

I found myself sliding through the streets of Key West, and it occurred to me that I couldn’t leave until I had a taste of the famous key lime pie. I will admit that pie in general is not my forte, but I am pretty keen on my key lime pie. There were a few locations nearby that I could have chosen from, but something about this location made me feel as if it would be the right choice. It was. First checkpoint for key lime pie is the color. If it is green as grass then throw it in the trash. Actual key limes are not green, and much more resemble a lemon. This key lime pie had a perfect singe of yellow coloration, and no fake key lime green in sight. Next, this pie is supposed to be light and delicate, so overbearing whipped cream or a tough graham cracker crust is a bust. As if this location had written the book, I found their made from scratch whipped cream perfect and the fact that they did not apply it until the pie was served was another big plus. Additionally, the crust was as light as a feather and as flaky as that one friend that can’t ever seem to get their life together. Environment was really the only thing that didn’t sell it for me for five stars. There were a bunch of candy displays around, and while I can kind of see the connection I just was not a fan of how that was the first thing I saw and the pie was not a centerfold. Finally, the seating was sub par and didn’t give me that major Key West vibe. However, I didn’t plan on eating the chairs, so if you are looking for a good slice of pie then for a little more than $ 5 this place is for you.

Having tried key lime pie elsewhere in Key West, I found this one to be superior. The pie had a great lime flavor, creamy consistency, and yummy crust. The people working here are super sweet too! I liked how there were other options — blood orange, mango, etc. I got the blood orange, and while it was interesting, it was way too tart for me. I was also glad to see the different size options — one slice, small pie, or large pie. The small pie was good to share amongst four people. Pricing was done well too. Upon walking in, you can definitely tell that this shop had some help from a business expert. Yes, this store appeared on The Profit last year. The finishings and overall layout of the store lends itself to larger crowds and kids. However, I wasn’t a fan of the extra sweets that block your way to the main ordering counter — jelly beans, candies, chocolates. They distract you from what you’re really there for, the key lime pie! I ended up buying some jelly beans, and they weren’t worth it at all. Plus, the picture on the website’s homepage is totally incorrect; it shows tables and chairs in the open space where the extra goodies are actually kept. When you walk in, the seating is to the left. There isn’t much of it, but the wood touches are modern and cool. Bottom line: Stick to the traditional key lime pie. The other flavors are unique and a good effort, but the key lime is the stand out winner here. Also, ignore the candies and other goodies.

During my search of great key lime pies in Key West, Florida I came across Key West Key Lime Pie Co. at Baby’s Coffee. I was a little skeptical since the pies I purchased were frozen, but they were awesome! The key lime pie from the Key West Key Lime Pie Co. is made with all natural ingredients(real key lime juice and a handmade graham cracker crust). Personally, I would prefer a slightly more tart pie, but this pie was pretty close to perfection!

Authentic Key Lime pie that was made fresh with homemade graham crackers. On a hot day this is a nice treat, which is served very cold! I like how you can actually see them making the product which is nice The scenery is nice as well, you have an open feeling setting with a nice view…

A trip to Miami wouldn’t be complete without a slice of Key Lime pie. I’ve never had Key Lime pie before, so this spot would be my first. This is a huge area and it looks very clean, which glass that surrounds half the spot. They have drink available as well. I got the Key Lime Pie slice, which was full of lime flavor in every bite. The graham crackers took in some lime taste, which was great. They had a pie in a cup, which consists of more graham crackers, but I decided with the slice. One of the best reviews in Key West for Key Lime pie, so definitely give this place a try!

Our first night in Key West and 1) It was hot as balls 2) It seemed like all the places on Duval were open air re: no AC. This place was a little off strip and still open late. There were a few people in there-definitely a non bar crowd, older folks, families. The wife and I were the only ones that should have been out drinking. Instead the lady got the regular Key Lime Pie and I got the limeade. Right away she regretted not getting the extra tart because she thought it was kind of bland. I thought my limeade was tart enough but a little… waxy is the best way I can say it. I liked the pie, I thought it was balanced pretty well and did the trick. I kind of regret not going back there to try the extra tart, just to see if it suited my taste better.
