Great place to buy a hat, and the woman(owner?) is really friendly and helpful. My wife bought a $ 20 hat and the woman made sure it fit correctly, putting a strip of foam along the inside so it would fit more snug. If you’re looking for a hat you should check this place out first.

Mercedes knows her hats! This shop is a must if you want a beautiful and wearable hat. She even gave us a form to pack the hat for travel! They have lots of novelty hats too. For Mardi Gras or just for fun. It’s also in a lovely location. Next to the busy Mallory square but a serene contrast.

I love this shop — every conceivable kind of hat, this teensy little shop has. On our recent trip to the Keys, my Dad and I(both prone to burning with out lily-white Scottish skin) forgot our sun hats, so meandering into Mad Hatter was a must. We also both have unusually large heads and think, curly hair, so you can imagine the pain in the ass hat shopping usually is. Lucky for us, the woman who runs this shop is a pro, and has an eye for what will work with your head and face shape. We walked out with a fabulous new Stetson hat for him, and a floppy straw hat for me. Of course, the ones we really wanted were over $ 100 each, and even with the woman offering a generous discount is we purchased them together, we chose the less pricey options and were happily on our way(for the record, I regret not purchasing that hat; it was — and probably is the only — hat that was perfect for my huge melon-head). The best part? Trying on the authentic safari hat. So fun!

This is a wonderful gem of a place! I’m a frequent traveler to the Key’s and was delighted when I received my beautiful purse in the mail which I left with the owner to repair. So often small boutique stores dismiss service as their clientele is seasonal. I’m VERY pleased to tell you that this place takes pride in their merchandise and stands behind it. They specialize in hats and wonderful Italian purses. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

I am a sucker for costumes. I adore them, and passing by I saw this cute store had some beautiful and fun hats in the window so I dragged my ever patient husband inside to check them out. Just think of any costume you might need a hat for. They have it. Really they do. No lie. From turbans, to birthday cake hats, to Viking, to Pirate(of course), to Alice in Wonderland… well just anything! Goth top hats for men and women? Yup! If you are more in the mood for something wearable, they have that too. I saw a couple of gorgeous women’s hats that I just wanted to wear, cop a posh Brit accent and«head off to the polo game, luv”.

This is the place to go if you’re looking for a funky hat for a party, Mardi Gras, Halloween, or maybe even a Unilocal event, lol! They have some really out there hats that are hard to describe. Most are not for everyday wear. One hat was a furry white bunny one, lol! If you like funky hats or are just looking for one, check out their site @:
