I got the $ 33 pedicure however I felt I was overcharged possibly by accident. I didn’t realize this until I left the salon but didn’t bother going back to dispute the charge. I was not offered a complimentary drink. Another lady walked in after me and also got a pedicure. She was brought a glass of wine (assuming she was a regular). The place seemed clean and employees were nice.

I usually don’t feel compelled to write Unilocal reviews– but, this place was SOOOO bad… I feel obligated to share the details of my terrible experience.
First and foremost– the salon is filthy. Admittedly, I was busy checking emails when I was seated– so I really didn’t look around the salon when I entered the building (otherwise I would have immediately turned around and walked out). As soon as a put my phone down and submerged my feet in the water basin– I was greeted by filth. The basin itself was disgusting– there was residue and dust accumulated on it. The staff uses throw away liners– instead of scrubbing the basin after every use– so I guess it never gets cleaned. Also, unlike my usual salon in Dallas, the manicurist did not open a fresh pack of nail tools when she started my pedi, nor did she pull out a set from a electric sanitizer/​sanitizing liquid. In fact– now that I am thinking about it– it was probably a dirty, used set… Great! In addition to the the use of dirty tools, there were dead and live bugs on the floor, dust everywhere, burned out light bulbs, and a lack luster selection of cheap polish. It was GROSS!!!
The pedicure: The manicurist did not use a cuticle stick to press down the cuticle (very odd) – she just started hacking away. The cuticle cutter seemed to be dull– so instead of a gentle cutting motion– she was pulling on the cuticle. It didn’t hurt– but it made them look jagged and uneven. I also had to ask the manicurist to refile my nails– because they were all diff lengths, and no where near straight– I mean seriously, they looked terrible. The massage was ok– nothing special. I was terrified of the hot towel treatment– confident that towel was likely covered in bacteria (based on the cleanliness of the salon).
Now the best part– when I think it cant get any worse– the manicurist paints my nails. I have never had a thicker coat of polish applied to my nails in my life. It was ridiculous. I mean– I was thinking to myself…“self…is this a joke?” She smudged 2 of my nails putting my flip flops on. Normally, I would have asked her fix the polish but I knew smudging was inevitable. My thickly pained toes needed a minimum of 3 hrs to dry– and I certainly wasn’t going to sit in that hell hole of filth for more than 10 min.
Payment: When I attempted to pay– the salon CC card machine wasn’t working. So they advised me to pull out cash from the in-​salon ATM. It also was not working. I had to sit there for 15 min while the manager attempted to call the ATM company. Finally, she reran my card on the CC machine, I paid and left– never to return again.
Please be advised, ladies… this salon deserves 0 stars – save your money and go elsewhere! The salon was dirty, the pedicure was terrible, and I even had difficulty paying!!! This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon! Thankfully, I have 10 completely smudged toes to remind me to never go there again.

I wasn’t impressed with the lady that did my pedicure. I got the Deluxe pedicure, she didn’t really seem to put attention into it. She was on her cell phone twice, not very attentive. She seemed like she was new or something and I could barely hear or understand what she was saying. Not coming back.

If been going there for about 2 years and have tried diff nail techs until I found my match lol Nancy is soo talented at doing nails. She’s really good at designs too. I usually go in with nail pics or with ideas in my head of how I want my nails to look and she always puts her own twist on them and they look awesome. She even takes pics of my nails some times! Lol this place is also awesome because they have complementary alcoholic and non alcoholics drinks.
Disclaimer: I have been unhappy before with the work of some nail techs there. All the guys always seem to do really good there and then my favorite nancy of curse and also Tina and this really really young petite looking Asian girl do really good that I can personally testify for. The girl owner Im assuming is good too since she always seems to b busy and booked with appt.

I like this place! I went here around 7pm and they were still open until 8, which is good for my schedule. The guy was really nice to me, and I didn’t feel like he was talking about me when he was talking to the other ladies working there. I hate that! I like my nails really really short, and he did just what I wanted, he made fun of me, but I didn’t have to trim them when I got home like I usually do. I went in for a refill and 2 replacements and the nails he gave me there were alot prettier than the other place. I don’t usually have them done, but I will go back to him next time.
