Will never use Tropicana again as long as I’m in Texas the people were very rude and did not want to work with us I will not recommend anyone ever to use this place

We thought this was a great company until we moved out. The previous star rating is by the owner. We were charged an insane amount of money for things that weren’t on the inspection list, and weren’t told why until we contacted them. On our receipt, it simply said outstanding balance. When you call, the phone sends you to a voicemail, and emails take forever for a reply. We were charged for paint, even though I’d requested the paint colors several times during our 16 months there so we could fix the nail holes from paintings we had hung. And every other company I’ve rented with generally leaves small cans of the colors for minimal repairs like that. Upon completion of the move out inspection, we were told the house looked great and it was move in ready for the next renters, who by the way moved in immediately. We were even asked if we could leave earlier. So you can imagine our surprise when we received less than half of our deposit. This was the fist time in 11 years in the military that I’ve not received the entire deposit back. I’d hired professional cleaners to clean the kitchen, and bathroom yet was charged by Tropicana to re clean. The move out inspector didn’t even bother opening half the drawers/​cupboards yet those were listed as needing cleaning. To me, the move out inspection was a complete and total way to scam Soldiers out of their money. They most certainly weren’t as thorough when they did the move in inspection. I was charged to remove wasp nests which I had to kill when I moved in. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TROPICANA TO ANYONE. Unless of course you don’t value your money. Save yourself the stress and go with someone else. Cloud Realty was incredible and I regret leaving them for a house with a pool.
