Best place to put gas… I love it when Surf is working… His the nicest employee there even nicer then the rude owner… When shes around she puts money in counter instead of my palm… Never smiles, or says hi… Love that they have plenty of drinks and love seeing highway patrol or deputys around… Makes me feel safe. Wish they would make restrooms a little bigger and somewhere apart from counter poor employee that they have to be close by it…

I stop here 2 – 3 times a month during my commute between the Bay Area and central coast. It’s in a well lit, seemingly safe area. The store, restroom and pumps are always clean. There’s never a long line inside or at the pumps, so my stop here is always quick and easy. Convenient location right off the freeway. The female cashier has zero personality, but the male cashier there usually in the afternoons is very friendly.

I hit this ARCO on the way home from Monterey MLK Jr weekend. I like this ARCO station because you can pay with a debit card at each individual pump instead of having to walk across the lanes to go to a central payment station which is more common for ARCO stations. Unfortunately for me, this was a business trip and I needed a receipt to get reimbursed which required me togo inside to get one. I guess the convenience of the pay at the pump was negated by the get your receipt inside. Stalemate This ARCO has easy access both on and off the 101 freeway at the Broadway Street exit. It is located next to KFC and across the street from Starbucks, Subway, McDonalds, and Taco Bell, making it a convenient stop for both your car and your passengers to refuel at the same time. The smell of KFC wafting through the parking lot does tend to make one realize just how long it’s been since one has eaten. Inside the convenience store, there is a Chase ATM, and the soda fountain had several different options in the diet soda department: Diet Pepsi, Diet Coke, and Diet Dr. Pepper The restrooms were reasonably clean and they boasted an XLERATOR hand dryer — the king of all hand dryers. Best of all, this ARCO station is $.70 less than nearby Chevron station. SCORE!!!

Charges a debit card fee? Are you kidding me? Who does that? I won’t be back. They don’t accept credit cards either.

Clean indoor restrooms, easy access on and off the 101. Drink station was clean. Gas prices reasonable. Decent place to stop, stretch and refuel!

The only good thing here is the price for fuel, a clean store and the restroom being inside. Out at the pumps… Dirty. They are always dirty. The trashes are always full and on the ground. The pumps, most of the time, do not print receipts, the windshield water is disgusting. I’m 50⁄50 on this place. The associates are pretty snooty(stuck up) and rude.

Always the least expensive gas in town. Save the 35 cent transaction fee by planning ahead and paying cash at the pump. Sometimes the pump card readers do not accept cards — just go inside and they can run the card at the counter. Easy on and off the freeway access. Plus, Starbucks across the street.

If we’re driving through King City there’s a good chance we’ll stop here for gas. The prices are reasonable and the convenience store has a good selection of snacks and little things you might want on your trip. They also have a restroom for customers! I’ve never had anyone trying to get money from me at the pumps. More likely to see feral kittens playing in the bushes next to the station. Lots of lanes, lots of pumps and friendly staff in the mini-mart. I’m a fan!

Cheaper gas than the chevron down the block!

Right off the 101. Has mini-mart too. Discount for cash purchases. Don’t let the guys selling you a spray can cleaner for your car’s exterior while you are pumping up your vehicle deter you.

2 points for having a restroom but no paper towels. And extra star because they’re actually open 24 hours unlike the Chevron down the block. Easy on and off the 101 freeway.
