It was okay. I went with one other person. We were the only people in the entire place and the service was still terrible. We were sitting for almost ten minutes before the waitress came over to take our drink order. It took eve longer for her to come back and take our food orders. She was extremely unfriendly and gave us a lot of attitude when we did interact with her. The food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best diner I’ve been to. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.

We went for Christmas breakfast. It was the only food place open on Christmas morning. It was pretty good for a dinner. I had stuffed French toast. I wouldn’t travel for it, but if you need a dinner in Kingston it was pretty good.

I love this diner. The people are nice an the food is great. I discovered my love for French Dips here and it is my favorite item on the menu. Have basically made this my place to go for lunch every week.

I’m definitely a big fan of this place. A bunch of us stop here, pretty much every time we come upstate to hit my house upstate and every time has been a great experience. The food is great and the people working here are super friendly. I pretty much always end up having pancakes and sausage when I come through, so I can’t speak for the other food all that much but I can definitely say it looks good!

Stopped for breakfast. Bad idea. Everything was lukewarm to cold… toast, bacon, potatoes and even the eggs. Seems as though most of it was premade and just sitting around. The waitress was not too concerned about it either. Meh. I don’t forsee a return trip to this diner any time soon.

Went here last night and we were really impressed with the food. When I choose a diner, I generally expect average food. Not so here. The chicken pot pie was the best I’ve ever had, my husband’s burger was fantastic and the pumpkin pie was sublime, with fresh whipped cream. It’s nice to have a delicious late night option when the mood strikes. Nice wait staff, too!

I suggest reading the reviews on Unilocal web that somehow don’t make the app. Most of them are positive as will this be. I have had breakfast lunch and dinner at Broadway Lights. Initially I didn’t like the area… that has too passed. This diner and bathrooms are amazingly clean. the service warm friendly and genuine. The food is is plentiful and tasty. I am hooked on their juevos rancheros fried calamari and chicken pot pie… I will continue to make this a stop for me and will also monitor and keep all posted !

I went here for the first time tonight for dinner. I’m a big eater so I usually get something more than just a sandwich or burger or wrap. I got the chicken burrito. It was one of the specials and came with soup or salad. I got a salad with ranch dressing, which was big, fairly fresh and decently prepared(nothing special, but big and tasty enough). I got coffee which did not taste fresh, but I had cream and sugar to fix that. Then came the burrito. Huge. It was a monster. It had lettuce and stuff all over it, and it was stuffed with refried beans, chicken and i think(mushy) yellow rice. All in all, tasted good, but disorganized. What a food critic might refer to as a mess of a dish. It had guacamole, pico and sour cream on the side to help it go down. Both the sour cream and guac were a little hard from being in the frig, but became softer and more usable within a few minutes of sitting on the plate. Whether the meal was very tasty or not, there is no way I can say it wasn’t filling. The waitress was friendly and the hostess too. The conversation they were having was a little weird at times, but nothing too bizarre or awkward to listen to. This diner I always(since I’ve known about it) thought was 24 hours, but it’s not. Michael’s, the Olympic Diner and I think the Dietz Stadium Diner are 24 hours. Michael’s is more of a greasy spoon, from what I remember at least; Dietz was good when I went there but the atmosphere and service was odd. Olympic is unbeatable, as far as I know, for their 4 course dinner specials. For now at least, Olympic Diner will remain my favorite in the Kingston area.

I ordered the stuffed french toast. What I got was two pieces of french toast with a still cold triangle of cream cheese slapped between them. I know this is a diner but that was terrible. We did eat here one other time before this and I had a burger that was mediocre, but the«stuffed french toast» made be question ever going back. Service is ok but the parking lot is small and it’s not in a great part of town. There are just several better options in the area for diner food, like Kings Vally Diner.

I’m not sure what the one star reviews are about, but this place is fine. It’s a diner. Nothing special, but it does what it’s supposed to do. We stayed with the basics, as you should with a diner unless you hear differently, and the food wasn’t bad. Sandwiches and fries. I’ve been here twice and the service was always fine and the food came out quickly. The décor is tacky, but name me a diner’s whose isn’t. And it certainly is clean. It’s definitely on a par with Dietz’s, if not better. I don’t get why they’ve got 4 stars and this place has 2.

Disagree somewhat with the reviews. We came on a Sunday for lunch. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was very good — friends had the Reuben and the Chicken Parm wrap — both very good. I had the southwest salad — chopped. Huge and pretty good. I’d come back — gigantic menu.

After a late night in Kingston, I decided to stop at this diner for a late night snack before I continued on my way. My fries with gravy were all right, nothing special, but then again, nothing horrible either. The service was OK, didn’t have to wait terribly long, but then again, it was about 2am and it wasn’t terribly busy at the diner. Not terribly memorable, but not terrible either.

Had I checked my Unilocal before we ordered, I’d never have come here, but we were starving and this place seemed quaint, and the closest thing we’d seen to a breakfast place. Terrible food and service, and both took way too long. What we got after our long wait was pitiful. My eggs benedict was too salty, I didn’t dare touch the hollandaise sauce, since it was neon orange in color. My friend’s blueberry pancakes looked great, but tasted like it was made boxed-mix batter and frozen blueberries. My other friend had a very bland omelette and an ok waffle, which was thankfully covered in whipped cream. I felt lucky to have my coffee refill since in the hour we spent there, we only occasionally saw our waitress. And the place was nearly empty. From the looks of things, this diner won’t stay open for long. They should take heed and change their ways!

I eat at this diner fairly often with my friends and have always had excellent service and good food. I am a vegetarian, so I usually get a Greek Salad or a veggie burger. They are always nice about accommodating my requests for substitutions. The dessert selections are good… they have a really delicious chocolate cake, that is very dense and rich textured. It’s my go-to diner in Kingston, and one of the better diners in the area. Close to the Kingston Hospital. Very clean and nice atmosphere.

It’s basically the worst diner in the area. King’s Valley Diner and Olympic Diner are both excellent choices compared to Broadway Lights. I call it «Blights», because of the terrible signage and outer presentation of the building. The salad dressing tasted like some kind of cleaning product. Once again, the positive reviews are probably fake. Unfriendly service. Bad location. Food is terrible. What’s not to like? Dining in Kingston, that’s what you should expect as the baseline. One star. AGAIN.

Quite a hassle here. This Place is a disgusting mess(to put it bluntly). The food is ill-prepped, the burgers come out soggy in grease, the coffee is ALWAYS from the bottom of the pot, and there’s never an «I’m sorry» out of any one of the employees here. I’m gonna try never to return(even though currently, I’m forced into going here for randomness with other places in area. Some people in my family have problems no matter where we go.
