Not sure who the haters are but they should give it another try. This was a really tasty gyro, fresh and hot and everything screamed«I’m fresh!». Like another prior reviewer, I’m from Chicago and this is one of the best I’ve had in this area. Yum!

Me and my wife went to Greece for our honeymoon last June. Ever since we have been trying different Mediterranean places in hopes of finding something that could compare to the food in Greece. Gyro World is that place. We absolutely love it! Seriously we love coming here! Our only complaint is that it’s so far away from our house. Please open one in Sammamish :) or Redmond, or Issaquah :)) haha. Great place!!!

Coming in here was like an unpleasant aspca commercial. The two individuals behind the counter which I assumed were the owners seemed miserable. There was just a negativity about the place. However, that alone would not deter me from good food. I ordered the Falafel plate. Can’t speak for anything else on the menu but truly the worst falafel I have ever had in my life. Dry fried lumps of mulch. Truly unpleasant to eat. The centers were still cold. The breading was heavy and tasted like bad oil. There was no pleasant flavoring to speak off. It was literally like eating balls of mud and mulch that my nephews made for me and called a mud pie. Sorry to the owners, I wish them better but they need to do something about their falafel.

Got this for our take out, tonight, and wow. Is it yummy! Chicken Gyro perfectly made, hot enough to survive the drive home, juicy meat that melts in your mouth and their sauce is some of the best around. I could also live off of these seasoned fries. Only suggestion to owners is to class the place up just a bit. It’s not horrible or anything, but the ambiance could use some TLC.

Meh food truck food. There are better Greek restaurants in the area, but it’s not horrible. The food is decent. The hummus is a little bland. The service is very prompt and polite.

Was getting my car fixed up the road and was dying for food. I did a quick search and found this as a top 3 eatery close to me. Walking distance cheap eats? Score! Got the classic lamb and beef gyro and it far exceeded my expectations. Pita was a warm, soft blanket around the fresh ingredients. Meat was juicy and delectable. They even put the tzatziki sauce on the side so I could use exactly how much I wanted. It’s a clean, no frills, delicious Mediterranean joint. So glad I happened upon it!

The Super Gyro was tasty but not the best ever. I’m from Chicago where a good Greek gyro once a month is a must. This one wasn’t as good as a Greek gyro. If your hungry this is a good stop.

My family and I love this place. The food is delicious. I always get the lamb gyro and seasoned fries. My attempt to try other menu items fails because my usual is THAT good. One of these days, I will branch out, but for now, I am sticking with my main choice. If you are ever in the Kirkland/Juanita area, go check out Gyro World. You will not be disappointed!

Service was good and food was ok… The Greek fries were limp and lacked flavor with the feta cheese. The feta tasted like it was frozen… Didn’t taste fresh… The gyro was ok but it lacked in flavor… The tzatziki sauce was lumpy…

I order the chicken plate almost exclusively every time I come which is probably 1−2x week. It’s fresh food and is good. The chicken is less on the plate but really plenty of food — I’m never hungry after. It’s no frills inside but clean and the owner and staff are very friendly. Not super chatty but they remember you and that’s nice.

Good people, quick food that is of a very good quality. I am very happy they are in the neighborhood as this is a much needed addition. Gyros are tasty as are the Greek fries.

Went to Gyro world for lunch today for the first time and got a beef and lamb Gyro. Absolutely delicious– all the other reviews are spot on. Proprietor and wife very nice and the place is clean and bright. Prices are reasonable and parking is plenty full. What more could you ask?

This place is pretty good! I’ve gotten the traditional and chicken gyros and they were both very tasty. The veggies are always fresh, and I also like getting my sauce on the side so it doesn’t make the whole thing soggy on the ride home. Their fries, while tasty, are hit and miss in terms of quality. I’ve gotten some that have been piping hot and nice and crispy, and other times they were a soggy greasy mess. I’ll take a little inconsistency with the fries for gyros that are so good though! Their service has always been fine and helpful when I had questions.

I have been here twice now while driving through the area. This place serves up amazing gyros. Delicious and moist meat, flavorful soft pita bread, and fresh vegetables. I love that they put the tzatiki(sp) sauce on the side and after eating it you dont have a stomach ache from too much garlic. Everything is spot on. The garlic feta fries are amazing too. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Not the most friendly female working but not rude either. I wish they would offer bigger water cups. I had to get up 3 times to keep up with my thirst while eating. They are barely bigger than dixie cups. One last thing… WHY are you trying to use pin up models with big juicy red lips to sell Gyros?(they have suggestive posters in the restaurant with«hot» women eating gyros suggesting you have one too”. UM, I am in the store, I am most likely eating Gyros. I am already buying them. I am no prude but seriously? If you sell good food, you dont need the over the top 80’s ridiculous«suggestive» posters. Get rid of them and class the place up a bit. We will be back.

Came here with my son since he was buying. I had been wanting to try their food, but with school and just getting training benefits, I’m too broke for new adventures. We both had the Gyro combo but I had the salad and he had the Greek fries. Like others, I appreciated the tzatziki sauce in the container, I like lots so I had that option. I hit the salad first and it was very tasty. I like that they used romaine for the salad and the gyro rather than iceberg lettuce. The gyro was tasty too, I really loved the flavor with the tzatziki sauce. I tried his greek fries, OK, but I’ve had better.

After what seemed to be an interminable wait with the ‘Opening Soon’ sign out front the local Gyro World is finally operational. This is a welcome and long overdue replacement for the Orexi restaurant that closed years ago. Maybe not quite so upscale, but I’m OK with that. They do have gyros to go! Seems like a little bit of start-up blues were in place. One guy behind the counter clearly knew what he was doing, the other guy was a bit tentative. Somebody just ahead of me had placed a large order(apparently for her tribe-sized family.) They were cranking it out in assembly line fashion, when the new guy realized that he had put onions on gyro #2 rather than gyro #3. Rather than just switching them(the quick thing to do) he meticulously removed the onion bits one by one with tongs from gyro #2 and moved them gyro #3.(Cue the rumbling stomach.) This place is not affiliated with the other«Gyro World locations», but you can find them on Facebook at Little startup glitches aside, the service was quick and definitely friendly. Gotta love the shiny new store. Shop early and beat the crowd!
