Olympic Cleaners

I really wanted to like these guys, but I had a big problem with them. I took a suit in for dry cleaning and it came back with a strong chemical smell. It wasn’t apparent when the suit was in the dry cleaning ‘garment bag’, so I didn’t notice until I was packing it in my suitcase the next day – and then, oh boy, it was /​really/​strong. I have absolutely no doubt that the smell was on the suit, not on the ‘garment bag’ or the suitcase, FYI – I checked. After some research, I took the suit to a dry cleaner at my destination, and they were shocked that it would have come back smelling like it did from a green dry cleaner. The other guys gave me back the suit in perfect shape, smelling of nothing.
I didn’t enjoy my previous interactions with the lady at Olympic, and I wasn’t able to give the business a chance to fix the problem, so I decided to eat the $ 16 and never go back. I was surprised by my interactions with her, as previous reviewers really seem to like Olympic’s customer service. Who knows. That’s much less of a concern to me than a green dry cleaner sending clothes back smelling like mine did.

This is the best dry cleaners place on the Eastside. After I moved to Bellevue, I still use them because I cannot find better customer service, extremely reasonable prices and a fantastic job each time. I love that they’re organic and my shirts come out looking amazing each time I take them here. The owners have gone above and beyond each time I asked them for something!

The location used to service our office in Carillon Point and when the company moved we decided to stick with them– I’m SO glad we did! I cannot tell you how many times I’m overwhelmed by their level of customer service, kindness and just plain… generosity. The Owners are lovely people and adore my 2 year old (who they’ve seen come in and out since she was a newborn). If she’s in tow they always insist on taking my armload of clean clothes to my car for me and even hang them for me. Amazing! I even had a serious ‘mom moment’ and forgot my wallet and they told me they’d just add it to the next one– such amazing service and great prices! Please go there – you won’t regret it!

Nicest dry cleaners/​alterations place I have ever been too!
I brought in some pants that I needed to be altered (because I am too damn short legged!) and since I took them about two weeks in before the New Years I totally kind of sort of, forgot to pick them up. Making that about 2 weeks and a half that they kept them (I did call them to let them know I was out of town and wouldn’t be able to pick them up yet) but the best best part of this place is that I walk in with no call, a week after I called previously where I did not even state when I would make it in, and here I am now with no warning and they remembered my name! Now, this may not be super amazing to some, but the fact of the matter is that this family owned business just knows how to make you feel like a valued customer! Just my first time ever here and I was very impressed by that little gesture. I have no clue how they could ever even remember who I was because I spent so little time in there dropping off my pants then being MIA for weeks and walking in just impromptu and they remembered who I was! Pretty awesome.

I’ve been taking my dress shirts and slacks in to Olympic for several months now and they do an outstanding job each and every time. The owner is incredibly pleasant and cheerful every time I drop off or pick up. Also, their prices are the lowest I’ve seen in the Kirkland area. Total win-​win.
I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed. Two-​day turnaround time.

First off, I hate that the previous reviewer had one slight problem and then gave this family-​run business a low rating… even after saying they do a good job with dry cleaning.
When I moved here several months ago, I needed a good dry cleaner and I wanted one that was also as «green» as possible. Olympic Cleaners fit the bill. Over the last six months, they have always done an excellent job with my suits, shirts, and ties. When I say I want, «heavy starch» in my shirts, I actually get heavy starch (you’d be surprised how many cleaners don’t get that one right).
I’ve used Olympic Cleaners for over half a year and their work has been great every time. What’s more, there are other positive reviews of this cleaner outside of Unilocal,so check those reviews out as well. Once you do that, bring your clothes to Olympic Cleaners knowing that they’ll be taken care of by a locally-​owned, family-​run business that does great work.

Typically, they do a good job here; however, the last time I brought in a pair of jeans for a hem job, I got home and realized they hadn’t been hemmed! Just a warning… try on your altered items before taking them home.
