This was my first ever visit to a Country Pride Restaurant. It was on a Sunday at 3pm after a trip to a Sunny Rest Resort near the Poconos. There’s a choice between the buffet and menu. I chose the menu as I sat down at a table of my choosing. I ordered the Linguica Sausage Jambalaya from the Summer menu and raspberry Iced Tea. Milena informed me that I can take from the salad bar and soup bar. I enjoyed having Wisconsin Cheddar Soup for the first time. I wasn’t expecting much from a truck stop eatery so I was shocked with the meal. It was better than when I had the same dish at a more ‘classy’ establishment. Even the iced tea was better tasting. There was no television in the restaurant itself and music played at a low level so it was not possible to determine which songs were playing. It was worth the stop.

4 Stars on Unilocal means«I’m a fan» and I guess this is what I’ll need to go with for that! I was expecting nothing. After all, this is a truck stop restaurant in Jersey near the Delaware Water Gap. There’s a huge truck parking and most are idling all night despite the state ban. So… looked the menu and there was a soup and salad bar for about $ 6 but also a special on an 8 oz sirloin steak that included the soup and salad bar for about $ 9… I mean, $ 3 more for a steak??? Not only that, but they did good cook it as I asked and while it was not top quality, it was still pretty good. Place is clean and service was fast and affable. Surprising good and cheap, excellent value… I am a fan!

Service is almost non-existant. Food is slighlty better then your average dinning hall. Large portions and a buffet option. That being said, price was fair for portion size. If you like truckers, this place is for you. They have fudge samples, pretty good! The decorations still had the pricetags on it. Beautiful combination of CVS décor and native American paintings.

Service is awesome and quick. Had the cheeseburger soap for the first time and it was aweaome. Ate the macaroni which it was delicious… Will come back again when I get a chance…

I always get giddy when I see«country restaurants» on road-trips. The drive back from Scranton was no exception. For this smog-breathing city dweller, a choice between anything«country» and a Roy Rogers is no choice at all. When we disembarked in the CP parking lot, we were more amused than chagrined that CP was just an extension of a diesel-pumping gas station. It’s a Sizzler-like trucker diner, there’s no two ways about it. There’s a artery-rupturing buffet or you can order a la carte off the menu. The food was decent and the servers were really friendly. I started with a hearty chicken and corn chowder and followed with the Philly cheese steak on a pretzel bum(yum, the pretzel bun made the sandwich). You can do a lot worse!

In side the Ta truckstop. Nothing special about it. Took my order, brought it out. And never saw the waitress again. No refills on sweet tea today!

Located inside the TA truck stop at exit 4 on I-80. Food was edible, but was given a much smaller portion than other restaurants in this chain. No reorders here. Order was wrong and they really skimped on the sauce for my burger. Waitress didn’t seem to care at all. Never had my glass refilled. Was asked if I wanted dessert, to which I agreed but asked for a minute to decide what I wanted. I waited almost 15 minutes before deciding that my waitress had no intention of returning. Poor service, lackluster food quality, and smaller portions with the same prices as the other Country Pride restaurants. Will not be back.
