Zoës Kitchen

Zoe’s Kitchen is located on Kingston Pk in the Bearden Station shopping center. I had a carry out meal from Zoe’s on Sunday afternoon, maybe 7ish, and was very disappointed with my purchase. The interior is very clean and inviting. Someone obviously spent some time and money on the design/​concept of this restaurant. The staff was young and friendly. They genuinely seemed to enjoy working there.
I had the Pimento Cheese sandwich with pita chips and the Baked Feta. They asked if I wanted the sandwich toasted and I agreed to the idea. This was a mistake. Toasting the bread made it hard and unpalatable. The bread slices were just to thin to withstand the brutal toasting it received. The Pimento Cheese was spicy and the heat overpowered the sandwich. The Pita chips were small and seasoned, overbearingly, with pepper. The highlight of the meal was the Baked Feta and this dish saved the rating. The feta was smooth and creamy. The olives were juicy and tart. A+ effort on the Baked Feta.
I wouldn’t have been as disappointed with Zoe’s Kitchen if the menu items weren’t pricey. The sandwich with side was over $ 7. I feel this is a little over priced for what I received. I considered rating my experience a two but the staff and Feta convinced me to give Zoe’s Kitchen a soft 3.

Great place for dine-​in or carry-​out. The food is made fresh and delicious. They have alot of healthy items not a bunch of fried food I love their salmon kabobs and it comes with a Greek salad fresh made hummus and pita bread and some cucumber salad. They also have a great chicken salad and tomato soup it was delicious. The service is fast and friendly.

While Zoes has been around further south for ages it’s somewhat new to the Knoxville area and I’m surprised more locations haven’t sprouted up nearby. It’s a large chain known for quality and fresh food, great service and entrees that are largely healthy. It’s what there isn’t much of East Tennessee: fast food that tastes great, isn’t fried, yet is affordable. And, sure we all love Bojangles, Zaxby’s, etc, but less grease is good for the body.
This particular location (I’ve been to about three dozen of their stores) excels are providing friendly service in a clean, upbeat atmosphere. I’m sure you are wondering why come here rather than the other dozens of restaurants in the area. We come for several reasons. Zoes serves much different food that you’d expect in this area. Another factor to consider is everything is made fresh, from scratch, on site — daily. The food is brought in every morning, prepped and served fresh. Yes, we did say fresh, every day. Where else can you find that from a fast-​food type chain?
The biggest obstacle to overcome at Zoes is what to order. There’s so many tasty items on the menu it’s hard to choose one. Normally, we start with the Hummus Trio. It comes with regular, basil pesto and red pepper hummus, all of which are amazing. Keep in mind, they make this on site, daily — a fact that’s obvious with each bite.
As for entrees, we enjoy all of them, but are partial to the Grilled Chicken Marinara, Chicken Roll Ups, Beef and Chicken Kobobs and Tossed Greek salad. On the other hand, there’s nothing on the menu that doesn’t reach your table cooked to perfection, well seasoned, fresh and with a friendly smile.
Zoes is ideal for couples, families, young adults and children. There’s something that was made in house for everyone and packed with enough flavor to keep you coming back. It’s a fast food chain that doesn’t taste like fast food.

Fresh, delicious, nutritious food. Nice contemporary interior. Clean and bright. Friendly workers who seem to enjoy helping you. Prices are very reasonable. Gotta try the white beans. Pita bread is delicious. We had an excellent meal.

My friend took me here once and it was very delicious, the store provided a great selections of
vegetables and healthy ingredients which were appealing to lot of customers for people who are into healthy meals.

Went to Zoës again and had a great meal this time. The chicken salad plate was filled with fresh fruit. The Greek side salad was very fresh. The Gruben sandwich was tasty, but the steak kabobs were fantastic! Zoës food is healthy & it’s delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Salmon kabobs are my go-​to healthy lunch. Dine-​in or carry-​out — the food and service is always consistently great. The patio are is relaxing and dog-​friendly. The location is convenient. Plenty of parking. Generously air conditioned which is refreshing on a hot day.

Fresh, delicious, and a reasonably priced. Ordered the chicken kabobs which came with delicious Mediterranean rice and a Greek side salad. I think I’m in heaven… def coming back here.

Fantastic food. Great fresh fast casual restaurant. I had the quinoa salad with a veggie kabob, my hubby had the tabbouleh salad and a chicken kabob. Everything was excellent. They had hibiscus green tea which also hit the spot on a hot day. We stopped on our way to NC. Great gluten free, vegetarian and meat lover options. We will definitely be back and we’ll be looking for this chain in other cities we visit.

As far as chain, quick service food goes, Zoës takes the cake. I love knowing that I’m eating real food, and it was awesome that this place even had Whole30 compliant dishes when I was doing that. My go to order is the Steak Kebabs with a side of lemon vinaigrette (I think its a fantastic complement to both the steak and potatoes) and the basil pesto hummus with pita is my favorite to get as an additional treat if my hub and I are splitting the meal. (It’s enough that we both feel satisfied doing this.) Also love the hibiscus green tea and buy it by the gallon frequently. Living in NY now I miss Zoës more than I ever imagined I could.

The food is very good but the portion size is way to small. Very pricey for what you get.

Food taste is great. Price is a little high for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place was really clean. I’ll go back.

I love Zoe’s! it is so fresh and delicious. Also, it is super easy to make subs and mods to your order if you want to eat Paleo. If you’re going with another person, here’s what to get and split it all: Get a hummus and salad plate (I sub the pita for cucumber slices) and a chicken (or shrimp, or steak) kebab meal (I sub the rice for roasted veggies, and again, cukes for the pita). This way you get bites of all of the best items. Kalamata olives are perfect! The orzo is a great side. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is super clean. Bön Appetit!

Excellent food! I had the chicken kabob dinner and it was great! I’d definitely eat here again!

Had a fantastic experience here last week! Ordered the spinach roll ups which came with a spicy salsa to dip them in and a side of roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables weren’t just microwave steamed carrots and broccoli like you’d typically see at a lunch place. No, these were true to their name and wholly delicious, perhaps had some kind of tasty marinade or dressing on them before they were roasted and served hot. So delicious! The spinach roll ups again, I was a little hesitant to order, thinking they’d be just pre-​frozen microwaved or deep fried rolls. But they weren’t. They were so crispy and fresh and were rolled in a fresh tortilla. The contents were unique and delicious, with things like mushroom and sundries tomato rolled up inside with the spinach. My boyfriend ordered a tuna pita sandwich which he said was excellent, with a side salad and we were both shocked how big the «side salad» was when it arrived, with fresh green pepper slice on top. Excellent service (fast too) and great food. Would recommend to anyone!

My sister and I ate lunch here a little over a week ago. I was really impressed with how clean this location was. And the food.. .amazing! The basil pesto hummus was absolutely delicious, and the pita bread that it was served with was very fresh and tasty. For my entrée I ordered the chicken kebobs, which were really good, but the rice pilaf it was served on was some of the best rice I’ve ever eaten in my life. Seriously, it was that good! Finished the meal with a big ol’ chocolate chip cookie that was just perfection! Soooo yummy! I highly recommend Zoes Kitchen. Wonderful food!

I eat at Zoe’s Kitchen quiet a few times and every time I go the food is excellent and the customer service is awesome! It’s one of my favorite places to eat. I would recommend it to anyone that has never been!

Had some very minor issues here a few weeks ago and was contacted by the corporate office. I went back tonight with my son and girlfriend and it was great. There is a great manager here named Sam who everyone seems to know in town besides me. Haha Very personable and you can tell he loves his job. Thanks Zoës.

I had the steak shish kebabs, they were good! It was served with some veggies and potatoes. I could have eaten more potatoes.

My first experience wasn’t the best, but I knew everyone has off days, and heck I may have been the one off– but all of the other amazing reviews, the contact from management expressing their concern for my experience, and the fact the menu was impressive had me go back. With that said, I was extremely pleased with my entrée, and now give it 5 stars. The staff and restaurant are always 5 star worthy, but this time my meal matched my surroundings. I got the orzo salad with grilled chicken and it was so flavorful and so large! I could only eat half and brought the other half to my husband who said «I don’t know what you gave me but it’s amazing». I will definitely be back and look forward to trying their quinoa salad!

One of my favorite healthy lunch spots! It’s quick whether you dine in or carry out.
It’s located in the shopping center where Bonefish is at. The other places that have previously occupied this space are: Hogan’s & Pimento’s.
My favorite thing is the Grilled Chicken Pita w/​Slaw and a side of the Pasta Salad. I re-​create the pasta salad at home :) (feta cheese, tomato, basil, salt, pepper, olive oil, & red wine vinegar). The slaw in the pita is mainly all lettuce. I also love the dressing they have on the table. If you get yours to go make sure you ask for some (they already have it packed and ready for to go patrons). I’ve also tried the tuna salad and the greek salad but I keep coming back to the Grilled Chicken Pita as that is my favorite.

Great fast casual restaurant. We stopped here because I read they had a dog friendly patio (which can be hard to find when you’re traveling with man’s best friend), and it was only a couple minutes off the interstate. Not only did they have a great patio, the food was fresh, tasty and perfect for refueling before hitting the road again.
I ordered the chicken kabobs, and it was a hearty plateful of grilled chicken, veggies (I subbed them instead of rice) & Greek salad. Such a delicious lunch for ~$ 9. The service was friendly, and they even brought a water bowl out for our pup.
