BESTPIZZAEVER!!! Wonderful service, great décor and the food is amazing. You can tell they buy quality ingredients because the pizza is so flavorful and my family just loves it!

I was here on a recent Sunday night with a party of… I don’t know, close to twenty maybe(?) celebrating a birthday. I’d never been to an Aurelio’s before, despite having walked past this one a handful of times en route to other eateries(Read: Nickson’s) in La Grange. I, like many other, am a pizza lover, though I don’t indulge too frequently for health purposes. It’s something I treat myself to every now and then and it’s usually Little Caesar’s stuffed crust with crazy bread(don’t judge, I grew up in a college town in the South) or Lou Malnati’s. I think our reservation was for 7:15. We were all comfortably seated and ordered a smattering of appetizers including but not limited to mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, calamari, fried zucchini, and probably some other stuff. Several pitchers of soda(I was good and only drank water, no beer or wine for me, though beers were indeed consumed by others. A few salads were thrown in, and a LOT of pizza. Fiesta size what was I think it was actually called. We got all varieties. As far as what I personally consumed… one mozzarella stick(those are pretty standard I think), two japaleno poppers — I actually really liked these, despite not thinking that I would and also burning the sh! t out of my tongue on the first one. As for the pizza… whenever it’s cut into those little squares, I get so confused because I can’t really tell how much I’ve eaten. I always feel like I eat WAYTOOMUCH but in all reality, I might consume less than what I normally would had they been sliced triangularly. I liked it. Obviously, because I kept shoveling it into my face. I had the veggie and plain cheese kind. My mate commented that he thought it was salty and that it tasted like there was cheddar cheese on it. I didn’t have that thought at all, so I don’t know what that’s about. I don’t think I would elect to order it on my own, or choose to go there, but I definitely didn’t dislike it. I’ve had crappy pizza in my lifetime, and this wasn’t crappy by any means. It’s just that it’s such a rare treat for me that when I do indulge, I’m going to make sure it’s somewhere that I really, really like to make the calories worth it. I felt kind of bad for our waittress. She was kind of run ragged. Between us and the table across from us(also a large party) it seemed like she was constantly bringing more napkins or refills or something. Every trip back to drop something off, something else was needed. Good times overall.

Dont get me wrong, the pizza tastes great. But the appitizers are obviously frozen from start and way over-priced. The pizza is half-assed when they get busy. Their dilivery time is absolutely ridiculous. They care more about cutting costs then actually taking care of the customer or having actual quality in waht they serve. I would strongly reccomend going somewhere else.

Hands down best Pizza Ever!!! We ordered the every thing veggie pizza and it came out perfect. The combo of the suce and crust is my favorite. The service is always good and the food comes out right. A consistently good choice for a family pizza night out.

There are so many other better pizza options here in Chicago. And don’t even bother with anything else on the menu. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana tonight and honestly, I’ve had Lean Cuisine frozen dinners that have tasted better. The service has been ok but a bit pokey every time we’ve been there. This location is also incredibly noisy. Bottom line: if you’re just looking for pizza and happen to be nearby, it’s an ok spot. But if you’re looking for something that’s not mediocre, I recommend going elsewhere.

Service is horrible unless you ask for Tracy! She’s great! Prices are WAY to high. 27 dollars for just a cheese pizza that’s nuts. OUTRAGEOUS. The pizza isn’t even that great. Don’t ask for old over because you won’t get it. They don’t have an old oven.

This review is based solely off the pizza. The cheese blend is delicious I love the sauce. The crust is just perfect. One of my favorites pizzas ever.

Grew up in Homewood and ate pizza from the original Aurelio’s all the time and still head down there several times a year to indulge. The pizza at the LaGrange location simply is not the same although a good pizza. The cheese is not the same texture or quality. The crust isn’t quite as crisp either. A step below. The antipasti salad is very good and service excellent. The bar however has quite limited options and lack of ability to make pretty standard drinks. The reason for the 3 stars is the price was over the moon. One large pizza was $ 28.00. 1 salad, pizza and beer/pedestrian glass of wine for 4 was $ 120 with the 20% tip. Seems awfully high for an after work pizza stop.

This location is struggling. Last few times my fiancé and I have had disappointing experiences. Every server has been inexperienced and unprofessional. Aurelios is our favorite local pizza place but it’s just not worth it coming here anymore I’ve had my last bad experience. Side note: they haven’t updated there drinking age limit signage either. Still reads 1993(smh) it’s almost April…

Ordered for delivery, and defenetly expected more for my buck. I mean pizza is pizza but this is not good at all. Might as well go around the corner to dinicos and get your money’s worth and your tummy will thank you!

When I roll my mouse pointer over 3 stars before writing this review, the description is «A-OK.» Rolling over 2 stars says«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» The pizza and salad were both good, as was the service. And the personnel were great. But… all the warm fuzzies we were feeling about our meal disappeared when the bill arrived. $ 49 for one large pizza, salad for two, one beer, and one soft drink? Toss in a 20% tip(the service and food were good), and we’re looking at almost $ 60 for a $ 30 meal. If money is no object, stop in and enjoy yourself — the food, personnel, and service are all good. But if you’re interested in getting good value for your money, try someplace else.

One of the boys I used to work with used to absolutely SWEAR by the pizza at the Aurelio’s LaGrange location, insisting it was«the best pizza in Chicago»(as long as I ask for the«old world oven» when ordering). I finally took him up on the recommendation and came here for dinner with my siblings on a very cold, snowy evening. We walked around the LaGrange downtown area, not entirely sure where we were going to eat. We walked by the Wood-Fired Pizza restaurant and decided to skip it because it was small and the ambiance didn’t seen warm and inviting. Thus, we ended up at Aurelio’s and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. «This is exactly the atmosphere I’m looking for,» my sister declared. «It has just the right amount of cozy and kitschy while still feeling a bit diner-y.» There were tons of local framed photos adoring the walls, which took up a lot of space because of the high ceilings. The booths each have a placard with the names of different Western suburbs. We sat in Hinsdale and I noticed many others, including Cicero, Berwyn, Clarenden Hills, Brookfield, and Riverside. We decided to order a large thin crust pizza, which is their famous pizza, with fresh garlic and sausage as toppings($ 2.25 each). I was worried that thin crust might be too thin or soggy, as many thin crust pizzas can be, but this one was perfect! It definitely had some thickness to it. The fresh garlic was perfection. There were nice big chunks of delightfully fresh garlic – my favorite! Aurelio’s definitely has some of the best pizza I have tried to date in the western suburbs. Even though we were full, we couldn’t say no to the deep dish cookie dough dessert(it’s $ 6 and serves 2 – 4). It had ice cream, whipped cream, and was sinfully decadent. Don’t skip this! Overall, my only complaint is that service was a bit slow despite it not being crowded. There seemed to be a lot of staff standing around and watching the Golden Globes. That being said, they were all perfectly friendly! I look forward to coming here again for pizza in the future, especially so I can share it with more people!

Aurelio’s has a place in my heart as it reminds of me of my high school days when I used to go to the one in Palos Heights. I have yet to go to one that tastes different than the others which is good because I know I’ll never be disappointed. This particular location in La Grange is a lot different than the one I used to frequent in Palos. It’s pretty big on the inside and able to accommodate large parties. I would love to give them 5 stars but their pizza can be a little pricey for some and back when I was in high school, pizza was all I could afford and they have a lot more on the menu today that I want to try so I will be updating this review in the future along with a dine-in experience. Right now I’m digging on the sausage and giardiniera pizza.

My family and I went on Saturday night crowd was minimal, quickly seated. We enjoyed the spinach salad, very good. Mozzarella sticks yummy. We ordered the tomato, green peppers and spinach specialty thin pizza. Omg superb. Deliciously roasted veggies cooked to perfection. Perfectly diced. A must have… So worth the visit.

My friend’s local relatives took us here. Best stuffed pizza I’ve had! Yummy crust & sauce, with tasty italian sauce & onions. It was my first time having calamari and I really enjoyed it(my friend says she’s had better, but I thought the batter at least was well seasoned). Fried zucchini scrumptious as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive and parking seemed to be plentiful.

Grew up eating Aurelio’s from Oak Brook Terrace and Downers Grove. I haven’t had it in years but since by Dad moved to La Grange I picked up a pie for me and him The good is that it was ready on time. The staff at the front desk were great. They fetched the pizza in mere seconds and it was hot and exactly what I ordered. We ordered for take out but the dining room itself is quite nice. They have a bar area and booths along the wall with pics of all the train stations along the West suburban Burlington Northern train line. So why three stars? I’m sorry but for a 13 inch pizza the cost was really hight. And, what pizzeria has 13 inch pizzas? 12″, 14″, 16″ yep but 13″ what the heck is that? Anyway, I ordered it thin and crispy and it was tasty but $ 22 for a 13 inch two topping pizza for carry out??? Mushroom and sausage. Yep, I didn’t order canary tongues on toast points or fois gras on organic flat bread folks. Nope, just your basic S and M pizza. The crust wasn’t rolled and I do appreciate the art of that but nope, that was your basic pizza with two of the most basic toppings on a flour crust. No whole wheat or gluten free thing going on here. The cheese was minimal which is OK but if I’m wasting calories on a pizza I want that thing cheesed out to the max. Even my 89 year old dad with poor eyesight said«where’s the cheese?!» Don’t think I’ll be back. I’m spoiled by so many Chicago and suburban pizza places that are better and priced appropriately. Aurelio’s now has places all over the place so maybe they got too big and greedy. Who knows!

Stopped in for a light bite. They don’t sell by the slice, so ordered a small-ish gluten free pizza after asking the server’s opinion of their GF crust. She hadn’t tried it– but said the typical«it’s very popular». It came out with burned crust. Not just a little crisp– BLACK. Which I pointed out when asked my opinion by server. «I think the gluten free cooks faster, maybe?», she quipped. My thought? Really? Then maybe cook it… Less??? Even if these toppings and weird orange cheese combo were on a regular crust– I’d be inclined to not like it. Will I give it another try? No– not with so many other good pizza options around.
