If you were not paying attention, you might miss this little gallery. We happened to be going to dinner next door, so we had time to check out a couple of galleries in the immediate vicinity.
We are glad we found this one. The highlight of the gallery for us was the Picassos that the gallery has. Very neat to see them in person. The gallery director (I believe his name was Gordon), was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Between the gallery across the street (Peerless Fine Art) and this one, you can easily burn some time while you are waiting for reservations at the restaurant (Eddie Vs) right by them.
The next time we visit La Jolla, we will definitely visit Prospect Place Fine Art again.

Great place to get your Miro, Dali, Picasso and Magritte’s numbered lithograph. If you’re an art enthusiast or a collector, this is a good place to start a collection without ruining your bank account. The beauty of this gallery is that most lithographs mark turning points in each artist’s professional and personal life.
