My boyfriend and I go to this location because it’s closest to the house. The parking isn’t bad and this Subway is fairly easy to get to. The store is clean and the employees are pretty nice and easy to talk with. This location isn’t a busy one and we get our food fairly quick. We never have any trouble with our food and the food seems fresh. I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend gets a breakfast sandwich. The seating is nice and this is a good place to sit and hang out.

Really hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is super cool and makes everything exactly as you’d expect. But seriously… I’m wondering why Kimberly(middle aged African American woman) still works here. I’m trying to be as nice and friendly as possible… and she was slamming doors and giving me this ridiculously rude attitude. Out of nowhere? I come back a couple weeks later and have the misfortune of being served by her again, and yep, she’s throwing another BF. I felt like I was in an SNL skit or getting Pranked, her rudeness was so random and unnecessary. Anyway, I’m basically done with Subway. Too many bad experiences at these places.

I always go to this location. They are never crowded and the employees do a great job. Last time I came here the lettuce was brown but I’ll be back. My grandma loves their sandwiches. She gets the chicken. I always have them warm it prior to making the sandwich. Good service best location in La Mesa!

Honestly, I only am giving these stars because of my sandwich maker, Norely. If it weren’t for her, I’d have probably left healthier than when I came in, and just as hungry. Overall, the sandwich itself isn’t groundbreaking or even that great. I had the tuna foot long on 9-grain honey oat. After a long day, I just wanted a sandwich… I should’ve just made one at home, seeing that this one just peaks at about 1400 calories. Yikes!!! I knew what I was getting myself into, but let’s be honest with ourselves, it’s tuna! I probably should have stayed with my usual veggie delight. Any who, the only redeeming quality was, of course, Norely. I almost felt bad that she had to work behind the counter at this place. However, she was nice and funny to me. She’s the only reason why this place gets any stars, or even a passing review.

I like going to this Subway because it’s right down the street. Love Subway. Anyways… the only thing that makes me want to go to a diff Subway is the staff. There is an African American staff that works here & she is rude. So much attitude. Luckily I stayed classy & kept my cool. It’s hard to order & very uncomfortable especially when I’m ordering like 3 footlongs etc. I go to Subway quite often. I hope she will become nicer or I get a different sandwich artist on my next visit.

Amazing! Trish And Esther are holding down the floor! They got really busy at some point there were about 20 ppl in line and in a matter of minutes the line shrunk! Trish has an amazing attitude greeted every customer and told them she would be right with them with a smile! These girls worked their butts off and accommodated everyone’s needs for a Sub!

Came in around 8:50. I understand it’s early so they don’t need a lot of workers, but the service was reaalllly slow. There was 2 people ahead of me and it took about 10 minutes to get to me. The worker wasn’t rude or polite. I felt like she could’ve been more accommodating… Like, «saying sorry for the wait» to me like she did the previous customer. Anyway, the upside is when you buy a 6″ you get a 6″ for free. So it’s basically a footlong for less than their advertised $ 5.

I have been to this location twice and now avoid it like the plague. They sprinkle the condiments on the sandwiches like they were $ 300 an ounce. When I buy a sandwich, I want a sandwich not a sample. Get a clue, I also contacted corporate without any reply whatsoever on this location. I love most all other Subways around the County and the food and service is fantastic along with pricing. But stay away from this location.

Well, the one thing that you can expect from a Subway is consistency. You can also see them making the damn sandwich so you’ll know that nothing shady is happening. Too bad that this area is bfe to me but some of my accounts are in the area so I do come here every now and then.

Fiiiiive Dollla Foot Long! FIVE… FIVE! Oh yeah I got a black forest ham today and it was straight up delicious. Went around 6pm, Thursday. Very chill and only a few people were inside. I went with a friend and we got pretty good service. The employees seemed pretty bored but they were very nice professional and helpful. We got our sandwiches and cookies and while we were waiting and picking out our ingredients, this old man came in with a funky haircut. Well he was one of those sarcastic old men that like to talk and build rapport by joking around. «I’m gonna buy me a place right here and sell ham samwiches for 99 cents. Hot dogs and spaghetti for $ 2.99.» That guy cracked me up so much. And he was also very meticulous about his order by telling the preparer exactly how to put the mayonnaise on his bread. sigh I miss the intimacy and comedy of quiet places like this. Reminds me of my hometown of Ramona. Anyways I’m definitely going to stop by this place more often. Got to replenish my plasma ;) Delicious~

Okay they’re getting the big 5 stars today! I know it’s commercialized healthy fast food… but come on ya’ll! Five… Five Doller… Five Dollar Foot Longs! Okay I can’t actually eat a five dollar foot long but if I ever grow an extra stomach you can bet your chips I will try! They make the nutrition facts available… fresh baked bread… tons of choices, lite mayo… and all for like $ 3! None of these are bad things! I’m rating it 5. Here’s why: — Always clean — CHEAP — Fresh — Lite mayo — Lite chips(They even have the BBQ variety of Baked Lays!) — Peporocinnis — Less than 350 calories — A full stomach Go Subway.

i thought the sandwich lacks flavor, but maybe thats my fault for not asking for extra sauce. they burned my bacon & bread, so i was a little upset with that. but rather than that, it was still good & the workers were very friendly :)

Ohh memories, after class before our last class, me and my best friend would go here all the day for weeks, it was a tradition for sure and we would get a $ 5 footlong and split it in half and get 3 cookies and split that. Sometimes chips, it was a good deal and we tried a lot of combination :) but i DESPISE the subway after smell that gets on your clothes… yuck!

I visited this particular Subway yesterday afternoon. It is just one of the many stops on my quest to find the best Subway in town(I’ve gotta get some sort of bracket for this). It wasn’t very busy, so I walked right up to the ‘order here’ side of the counter and ordered a turkey & swiss footlong on wheat. I don’t usually get ‘em toasted, but on such a nippy day, a toasty sub sounded like it would totally hit my spot. After 15 seconds in the microwave-toaster-thing, it was time to put the finishing touches on it; lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumbers and spinach(a pretty generous portion of it in fact). Then, I cruised on over to the cashier to pay for my sandwich. «Five bucks» he says, and I hand him a ten dollar bill. «Sweet, $ 5 even» I thought to myself as he gave me back a fiver. BTW, major props to the guy making the sandwich for the douchey lady in front of me. He maintained his cool, kept it professional, and was even smiling… which is hard to do when someone is being kind of a pain in the ass.

I went in for a sandwich. I had not been in a place like this for awhile. So what to get. My this is what I decided on, A BMT. Everything is perfect. I am pleased when I have awesome costumer service. I had the manager talk to me about how long he has worked there. He told me he has been there for about 7 months. He took care of me as if I were a King. After a quick review of the other posts I do suggest if you have a big order, ask for the head manager, he will provide you great service! The place on a Sunday afternoon is very busy, clean and fun people working there.

This afternoon I was sent out on an errand to pick up an order of ten-foot long sandwiches of assorted kinds from Subway to feed a mass amount of people. So I selected this location to get the sandwiches from since it was right down the hill. Had I have known I would have been greeted with such attitude, I would never have shown up. Inside only a group of girls were eating a sandwhich and the counter was open with no one ahead of me. The employees for a moment almost looked happy to have something to do. So I told them how many I wanted, and then the bitch fest started.(Now, let me preface and say that I used to work at Party City and know what it is like to be bombarded with orders of 200 balloons that are requested to be finished in less than 10 minutes; I used to think of how much a jackass they were for not pre-ordering, but come on, it all pays the same). The ENTIRE time these people made our sandwiches they were very lippy to me and acted like it was such a hassle to do it. Keep in mind I am still the only person in line…50 dollars later worth of sandwiches, I was out of there. I would like to have people aware not to «inconvenience» these ass hats in here. Perhaps this location has something to do with that terrible nail salon(see review for Angel’s Nails) that is right next door. Must be evil ground.
