As a self-proclaimed Health Nut Vitamin World has been a staple of my day to day for a while now. They have been around for over 50 years and are headquartered in LI. They are also known as Puritan’s Pride and (in the UK) Holland and Barretts. All are well known for the superior quality of their supplements.
I am always blown away by how well stocked this particular store is. It’s not very big, yet they always have the obscure herbals I ask for. The girls who work here are very helpful and attentive and even if they can’t help you off the top of their head they have an extensive computer database of ailments and supplements at their fingertips.
Definitely a good place to have in the neighborhood!
