This salon service tops my list for Best In Class! Manny, my designer(or so it seems) treated me perfectly. I felt at home with her and her hands on my hair!!! Wow. This is the best blow out service I’ve ever had… hands down. LA… NYC…CHI…This is the best ever. Give Manny a raise. Ask if she wants to teach others what she does… she’s that good!

HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time, money or dignity on this salon. I have lived in NY my entire life and I have been patron to many world class hair stylists. I recently moved to The Villages, FL and was looking for a salon. I called Salon Jaylee after reading some positive reviews(I obviously dint look far enough) I called and was NOT pleased with the secretary. She sounded young and stressed out and just wanted to get off the phone, all I wanted was a consultation! I booked an appointment hoping for the best, because their prices indicated they were… NOT. I had the«owner» of the salon work on my hair if you can call it that. It was mainly her helpers, she just added color. She tried to oohh and ahh enough that I would like it, I DONOT like it. Then even after I said it was not as I expected, she charged me $ 245.00 that is without a blow out or take home products… horrible horrible. This salon thinks they are high end and they sure charge like it, but when you employ women who hate their job and are completly ignorant to what customers want… you get medicre at best. Dont waste your time and surely dont waste your money. Im yearning for a trip to NY where I can get a hair cut, color and highlight for under $ 200 from a real master stylist and with people who enjoy what they do!

So disappointed with my 3.5 hr salon appt this week. I was upset when I left the salon and the stylist who covered for my regular girl knew it as she left a note on my «card». The receptionist dismissed my concerns, waved her hand in air and told me it was no big deal. Well, to me-it was a big deal, or I wouldn’t have been concerned. I wouldn’t know until I washed my hair today if my hair was damaged or not, however I would have thought that a manager would have called to see if everything was all right. The fact that they didn’t, makes perfect sense matching the attitude that I got at the front desk. No big deal. So I guess it won’t be any big deal if I don’t go back there?

I am new to the area and I check Unilocal about this salon, it seems legit so I callI to get an appt to get hair cut and color, they got me in that day. excited I get there early. I check in with someone who didn’t check me in correctly, because a lady had to come and ask me my name 10 min later. That should have been my clue Anyway, a young lady who is assisting my stylist comes to get me i get to my chair and Leigha talks to me about cut color etc, we get started and her assistant helps with the color, which she got on the floor on my smock on my cloths, you get it. they had to use 2 bottles, hmmm I wonder why? Anyway, Leigha has 3 other clients during my visit, even with her assistant helping it still took 3 hours! During my visit, one of her clients proceeds to tell me she is the mang. oh so I ask her and she says yes, during the 3 hours I was there I think its weird the other hair stylist are standing around. I could have gone to one of them if asked, but they didn’t. They just said they have an opening at 1. ok great At the end of my visit, they take off my smock and my shirt is runied with dye. Leigha does not know what to do and says that has never happened to me and knows it was the assistant fault but walks away yet again with another client. Comes back and we go to the counter and she does the add up and I see all these numbers and think that can’t be mine, but it was and when she does the total she said«by the way Im a mang. partner so my prices are more» yeah by like $ 20 for hair cut and $ 20 more for color(everything is a la cart) and she charged me for 2 colors even tho she know the asst dropped half of it on the floor and me! BTW I DIDNOTKNOW I WASWITHTHEOWNERANDPAYINGOWNERPRICES This should have been told to me when I called, I would have liked to of had the choice to go to an a hair stylist or the owner/hair Stylist. When you call expect to pay high prices because the owner wants all the clients. I am from the DC/VA area and we pay high prices there but not these prices CRAZY

My mother in law treated me to a hair makeover while visiting Fla from PA. She, like me has fine thin hair. I went to her hairdresser Jerri. I gave her a picture from one of the books in the salon, skeptical I would have this result. All I can say is A M A Z I N G ! My usual drab, dry, thin hair is spectacular. I also had the keratin treatment which made my hair so silky, shiny and healthy. I had highlights and lowlights, and my haircut took me from dry, dead, medium length frizzy hair to a short diagonal bob which is sleek, shiny and exactly what I wanted if not better. After my appt my husband, in laws and all our Florida acquaintances were amazed and complimentary on my new look and also mentioned it makes me look much younger, and is very flattering. I am not someone who takes time to write a review on anything whether good or bad, but this is so unbelievably amazing I had to share.

I was fortunate to have found this salon, and Leigha Miller, after spending a few years bouncing from salon to salon. I was in search of a stylist who had both the scientific knowledge of hair health essentials and the artistic inspiration to keep my hair beautiful. I had gone as far as Orlando, and even the Aveda salon in Mount Dora was not adequate for my needs. The reception personnel are always friendly and helpful, and the whole experience is a nice reprieve from the daily grind. I am always offered wine, and love to chat with several of the stylists of whom I’ve grown quite fond over the years– Kaylee, Jani, Somer, and Jaime. They are a bit pricier than an average salon in the area, but as they say, «you get what you pay for.» A higher level stylist, with the most current training and education, deserves to earn a higher income. In addition to her brilliant cutting/coloring/styling skills, Leigha does a perfect brow waxing, and a precision trim-in fact, I’ve never had a stylist who can trim as minimally as Leigha, with terrific results! She has good ideas when I’m indecisive, and works with me when I want to grow my hair out. She even does really awesome extensions, without damage to the hair! I highly recommend her, and the salon. I also recommend the Simply Smooth Color Lock treatment post coloring, it’s so worth it!
