I like the food here, but my husband doesn’t so it is really hard to get him here. I got a gift certificate for Christmas so we went. Food came out and they’d gotten BOTH of our orders wrong! Come on people. Help me me you!

Service was very slow. Bloomin Onion was great. Alice Springs Chicken was good but small.

Went out to eat at Outback Steakhouse yesterday evening, and were very happy with how quickly we got sat at a table. Our server Andrew was prompt to get our drinks and very patient with us because we took so long to figure out what we wanted, and he gladly answered all of the questions we had. My girlfriend ordered a sirloin and crab cake, and I ordered a 10 oz Ribeye, medium rare for both steaks. After waiting awhile for out steaks to come out, a manager came to deliver my girlfriends steak, and just my sides. Telling me that my steak was over cooked, and they’re making a new one for me, and it will be right out. I happily ate my sides, and then waiting for my steak. Which the manager finally brought out, after the long wait… I’m happy to announce that this ribeye is the best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. And Andrew was a fantastic served! Thanks outback, we will definitely be back!

I rate it as a 5 being my favorite local chain restaurant. The thing about Outback is you have to be a regular to appreciate it. I always do call ahead seating which has gotten me promptly seated even on the busiest of nights. The $ 4 menu features a house Merlot and a house Moscato which satisfies both red and white wine drinkers. The Ahi Tuna appetizers are to die for. I have requested Ahi on nights that the restaurant didn’t have any in stock and they have located it locally and served it to me within 25 minutes. The Bloomin’ Monday’s are an extra perk after a successful weekend for Kevin Harvick. My only suggestion is to sway towards the seafood options even though it advertises as a steakhouse. I visit bi-weekly and have to recommend it highly based on consistent flavor, service, and satisfaction.

We went when it was really busy. They said there’d be a 20 – 30 minute wait. After 25 minutes, we asked how things looked and they said there were a few minutes left of our promised wait time. At 35 minutes, I went back and the hostess snapped at me before I even opened my mouth. «You’re next and they’re getting your table ready!» That’s all she said with an abrupt and nasty tone. What did I ever do to her? No niceties like«it’ll be just a minute, sir» or «thanks for being patient» or even a simple apology. Just total rudeness to a customer as he was entering the establishment. From the hostess no less. Nice first impression of the restaurant. Later in the meal the server brought us dirty plates to eat off of. Steak was tough. Needless to say we won’t be back for a while.

Food was just so so and the service was too slow maybe because of the national holiday. L

1. Food served too slow even if there is literally nobody in the room. 2. I ordered outback special, the steak is extremely over cooked for some reason, I ordered medium rare and it came with well done. 3. No bread and butter served while all other table are served with bread and butter. 4. Sides are fair. I ordered fries and ceasar salad for my meal. The fries are served warm but salad are not fresh as I thought. I will not come here again.

Very nice waitress and not-bad food in general. I tried her recommendation of coconut lobster and it was… meh, not my type and I won’t have it again. There is a limited number of non-alcohol drink choices too.

TLDR: good food, fun waitress, nice dessert. Will come again. The variety of food in the menu was surpringly diverse for a steakhouse. There was even Sashimi(raw fish) in the appetizer! The bread that came with it was a bit dalty though. For the main course, I had a delicious meal of lamb chops and potato soup. My brother and Dad had Burgers that were ok, according to them. My mom loved her Fillet Mignon and lobster, and my other brother had a New York steak. The dessert was probably the best part. The milkshake was delicious and fluffy. Not too sweet and topped with a nice wafer. We also ordered a Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. It was a brownie topped by two scoops of ice cream. It sounds heavy, but there was pecan in the brownie that balanced out the flavor making it a surprisingly light affair. I will come again.

To be honest, the food and service for a Saturday evening dinner were outstanding. However, it seems that parents can’t control their obnoxious children and when bringing this up to a manger, he seemed to not really care, likely since he got everyone’s money. That’s what I don’t get about some places. I don’t care for spending a lot of money when finally having a chance to go out to have it ruined by loud, out of control children.

Last time we came here the food was just blah. Can get better quality and quantity at any other steakhouse in town. Equally disappointed this time. My kid got steak tips and apples. The steak tips were so spicy/peppery even us adults wouldn’t eat them. Granny smith apples were borderline rotten and probably too tart for kids. Husband got a burger that was drowned in liquid smoke. It’s saying something when he doesn’t clean his plate and he couldn’t stomach half of it. $ 8 kids meal, joke. $ 12 entrees, joke.

It’s been years since I’ve been to an Outback. In fact this was my second visit to any Outback anywhere. However, my experience was OK. I went with a party of 8. The service was friendly and prompt. My steak, ordered medium rare, was served rare but I’m usually OK with that. The blooming onions are a bit spicy but still very tasty. I ordered the baked sweet potato and it was mushy. I won’t order that again. The others in my party who ordered steaks were pleased with the doneness of the meat. Outback is OK for a steakhouse, but I still do not see anything that is unique or exceptional about their food. Maybe I’ll go back — not sure.

Decided to try lunch today. We debated between outback and Fridays. We picked outback of course. For lunch I got the soup and salad, salad was swimming in dressing and the soup was just alright. My lunch date got the salad with the tuna. She said the tuna didn’t seen fresh and was a bit rubbery. But worst of all our service was just terrible. We hardly saw the waitress and when we did see her we asked for more bread 15 – 20 min later she brought it and we told her no thank you. We just want our ticket I don’t recommend eating there on your lunch break. Unless you have about a 90 min lunch

I’m consistently impressed when I go to an Outback. I don’t go often, but I can always count on getting a solid serving of steak. This Lafayette location is no exception. Started with a blooming onion — got to, right? Came out a little over-done, I feel like this is a dish that should be cooked on the lighter side. It was the end of the week, so I was feeling in the mood for some libations and ordered the ‘New Old Fashioned,’ made with Maker’s and Jack American Honey. It tasted great, but it took the server so long to bring to the table that it was pretty watered down by the time I could enjoy it. For my entrée, I went with the Victoria Fillet — a 16 oz. petite fillet cut, cooked medium-rare over the Outback’s ‘wood-fire’, served with a side of steamed broccoli. The steak was fantastic, lots of flavor in the beef, especially with hints of oak from the grill. The broccoli was also very good. And the portion was just right, under 600ish calories. Sometimes the Outback doesn’t come to mind first when thinking of going out for steak, but you can count on getting a honest meal for an honest price here.

The service is good. The food is decent and okay appetizers. Too pricey for the little portioned food. I honestly like«Texas road house» more.

Good food, good service, and a calmer environment than you’ll find at Texas Roadhouse. If you’re looking for a good steak, Outback is a great choice. Take advantage of the call ahead seating and then kill some time in one of the shopping areas nearby. Wait times can be over an hour on the weekends. We like to call ahead and then go to Target for a little while.

Took my dad here for an early father’s day dinner, since I wasn’t actually going to be in town for Father’s Day. We got seated immediately and the server came right over and took our drink orders. We all ordered various versions of steaks(except for the boy, who got a burger), and all ordered them well done. Everything came out perfect and delicious, and even my son ate every scrap of his food. I have no complaints here, service was excellent, food was great, and we were in and out in under an hour.
