The Muse

I never got a feeling from this place, bad furniture that was all mismatched, not one table was level as I watched several people spill their drinks.
The bar was sticky and the floor was dirty. Not what I’d call a good first impression… seems as if they just don’t care. This place was a black box with a bar.
I’ve been to clubs in several dozen cities and in quite a few countries and this was the worst I’ve ever been to.

I would NEVER waste my time or money here ever again when there are so many other better clubs and bars in the area. I use to come to the Muse often from time to time because of friends but have finally become fed up and tiered of it. The drinks tend to be over priced and weak, the furniture is raggy and falling apart, the bathrooms are always a mess and have broken stalls, and the place often tends to be empty or very slow (unless there is a hosted event by an outside affiliated group). The nights are very inconsistent with what to expect in a BAD way. Also, depending on which bartender you get, some (but not all) are very rude and give unnecessary attitude. If the club is busy it is nearly impossible to get a drink, especially if you are a girl. The owner is also HORRIBLE to do business with and can be very rude, inconsistent with prices, unreliable, and disorganized. I would not suggest hosting a party or event here. I would save yourself the headache!
Bottom line… there are much better places in Lafayette and West Lafayette that deserve your business and offer a much better atmosphere and experience.

This Place is so much fun you really have to check it out almost every night of the week. If you want to party or if You are an artist or band you have to get booked here nothing comes close to this place in Lafayette, IN.
