Mouse Gear

Time to shop? This is the place to be. Every imaginable souvenir can be found at Mouse Gear. I always take a quick walk through when I’m in the park and you have to make this place a priority.
They get crowded so patience is key, but there are plenty of treasures to be found if you try.

This is by far one of the biggest Disney gift shops in all of Epcot. There is truly something for everyone.
If you like princesses, they have it. Are you a cars fan? Yep its here. Star Wars. By the butt load. Tee shirts, towels, toys and pins. Anything and everything you could imagine its here. And so is everyone.

Good merchandise, disgusting customer service. Paying what it costs to come to Disney, my expectations for cast members are high. I was sent over from the Magic Kingdom to find a specific item I was looking for that said online this store had it in stock. I was prepared with a sku number and a photo. The first person I asked told me they couldnt help me and that a woman standing a few feet away could. Great. So I walked over and told her that the first woman sent me over and said she would be able to help me. Annoyed she tells me to look for it myself and that this isnt even her «department». The general customer service reply could have politely been that she did not know either and would help me FIND someone who would. Then after my clear disappointment and disgust she was willing to help me. For the life of me I cant comprehend how this is acceptable. Will be writing an email to the manager.

Mouse Gear is a huge gift shop located within Epcot. It’s pretty close to the entrance, just after you pass Spaceship Earth. I’d say this is definitely one of the larger gift shops I’ve been in the parks. They’ve got a large selection of pretty much everything. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, this location is pretty much always packed no matter what time you go. Probably because of all the selection. All in all, definitely worth a stop.

This place has everything from beach towels to garden gnomes, mugs to Christmas ornaments, plates and flatware to scarves and headwear. All the Disney merchandise you could ever want and more.
It’s nice AC’d for a bit of relief from the heat while making your way through Epcot. I’ve found many an item in here to take home, but usually leave them there because of the slightly inflated prices. If you have time, check out the Disney outlet in Orlando for better prices.

One of the larger Disney stores in the park. There is a larger selection of everything from clothes to pins, hats, food, toys, etc. Prices are all about the same at these Disney stores, so you’re not going to find a better deal by «shopping around». The only reason to shop around is that you may find certain items at one store and not at the other.
Gets very crowded if you come at the wrong time.

Cool department store in Epcot that has any kind of Disney gift you can think of. They have mugs, apparel, hats, kids clothing, snacks, ect.

Great store, very big in size and merchandise variety.

Super huge Disney gift shop located inside of Epcot. You will find just about anything you can think of with MIckey or his infamous icon plastered on it in this store. Clothing, purses, jewelry, shoes, toys, kitchen items… and the list goes on and on.
This store is always crowded and can be difficult to move around in. Also, be careful not to get lost in here. It’s very easy to get completely turned around and not know where you are. They have plenty of cash registers here and all of them are generally open, but the lines to check out do get extremely long, so you may be in for a wait.
It’s very easy to walk into this store and lose an hour or so of your time looking around at everything. It’s like you get caught in some kinda of Disney time warp. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing b/​c you’re getting a nice reprieve from the heat and there really are a lot of cool things to see, but if you’re tight on time because you’re trying to squeeze in Epcot, then don’t let time get away from you while you’re in here.
Since this store is so very large, keep an eye on your kids. Heck, keep an eye on other adults in your party. I kid you not when I tell you I wandered off from my husband one time and spent 30 minutes looking for him! LOL
If you make a lot of purchases here or you purchase something that’s really large, they can have it sent to your Disney Resort if you happen to be staying in one so you don’t have to carry it around with you all day inside Epcot. If you’re not staying at a Disney Resort, I recommend you hit this shop at the end of the night after Illuminations because it does stay open later.
Have fun, don’t get lost, and make sure your credit card has a high limit… you will be paying Disney prices after all! =)

Of all the shops I ventured into during my trip to Disney, I’d have to say that Mouse Gear was hands down my favorite. There are a lot of other fun Disney shops, and there are some great specialty shops as well (especially at Epcot in the World Showcase), but for an all-​around Disney themed shopping experience, Mouse Gear had the greatest selection!
There were some items here that we didn’t see at any other shops during out visit. For example, my sister purchased these really adorable Nerd Mickey pajamas, and when we inquired about other sizes, we found out that the last of these in all of Disney were here at Mouse Gear.
I buckled down and make some massive purchases here during the first day of our trip, but thought in the back of my mind that I might find a better selection later in our trip at other stores. Turns out, the crème de la crème is here at Mouse Gear! Even though we made other purchases at other stores, our biggest shopping day was here. I would definitely hit it up on future visits to Epcot for a really great selection of Disney merchandise.
