We have always had good luck in this store. The girls are all friendly and go out of the way to help us.(There is one guy that works at this location that wont even say hello and acts like he’s better than everyone else but the ladies here are fabulous) We went in a few weeks ago asking if they had a strap for a bag that was broken or what we could do about sending it in for warranty and the manager went in the back and GAVE us a new strap for free! We were fully expecting to pay for the strap. This outlet is worth visiting if in the area. The traffic can be horrible on the weekends especially in the summer and holidays but other than that traffic is usually okay.

My wife and I arrived to the store with a coupon for 25% off that we found on the internet. Let me say first that I meet an older lady that downloaded and used the same coupon without a problem a week earlier. My friends that were from out of town(Taiwanese) and my wife tried to use the same coupon but was first asked to prove that the coupon was sent directly to us, show proof of ID and also show that our address and zip code was already in there database…(Disclaimer The coupon does not say it has to be addressed to you and that your email address, phone number ect had to match the validation bar code). I politely asked if they could just scan the bar code and the reaction was no. sorry we cant do it… even though I know that they did it a week earlier for another customer. The reason for the 1 star is because what happened next. My wife went back into the store and overheard the staff clamoring about how cheap and«low class we were»… If you are of Asian decent you are not welcome at this store. Be white, old, and wear expensive clothes.

Okay, I’d like to preface this by saying I’ve signed up to Unilocal JUST to write this review. I walked into the store today to get my mom and all the women in my family a Coach bag for Christmas, I was home from Los Angeles and was ready to drop some serious money on a really nice bag for all the lovely ladies in my family. I spoke to a girl I knew who worked at a coach boutique in LA and picked out a few styles I was in love with but didn’t want to lug all the bags back on the plane so I decided to do my shopping at home to avoid shipping them. My mom and I spoke to a really nice group of ladies working at the Coach store at the cross gates mall who were exceptionally nice and knowledgable about the bags – loved it. I would’ve totally bought all of them there but my mom was shopping with me so obviously I couldn’t. Instead I gave THIS outlet store a chance — what a waste of my time. First of all, the location is HORRIBLE. The traffic to get into the store is annoying, and this is coming from a girl who deals with the worst rush hour traffic in America on a daily basis. But location is forgivable :) I noticed they were having a lot of sales, I was super excited so my little sister and I walked into the store. As we walked in the store I see one of the sales ladies walk towards us, I was super excited to talk to a sales lady and get some help picking out the bags and get out, 10 minute deal super painless and then off on our way we would be. INSTEAD the girl WALKSBY my sister and I, totally ignores us, and asks the two ladies behind us how their day was going, and offered to hold onto their shopping bags as a convenience while they shopped. My first thought is that this really under qualified Sales lady is profiling, the ladies behind us were dressed in some Ralph Lauren garb and toting a few shopping bags; my sister was in sneakers and I was wearing a peacoat and we had no shopping bags. This made my blood boil. I decided to give them a chance to see if someone else would at least greet us, say hello, ask us and ask if we needed anything and… NOTHING. This store is the biggest joke for a Coach outlet, sorry. My sister and I were in there scoping out the bags for about 10 minutes and I was so unimpressed with their customer service and frankly their selection that we left. My advice for this store is to hire more qualified sales ladies and tell them to wear their happy face for everyone when they go to work not JUST the ladies that have shopping bags and wearing nice clothes. As someone who shops quite frequently and utilizes the advice and services of sales ladies at high end stores, this kind of service is an embarrassment to their store. I am now enroute to buy all my Coach bags from the awesome ladies I met at the cross gates mall. I suggest anyone looking to buy decent Coach bags to do the same, that Coach store actually deserves the business.

I was glad to have this diversion when we went on a Ski Trip with the in-laws. It was about 30 mins from Gore Mountain(North Creek) and I was lucky that it closed late on weekdays at 9pm — there was no one there. It was like private shopping! Once we finally found it(in the corner of the plaza with Levis and Lindt), this weekend they have an additional 50% off handbags. Score! The lady there was helpful and gave me lots of things to try on. Keep an eye out for the clearance section — I found a wallet there that is regular price $ 260, an updated version of it on sale for $ 100+ but I found this one for $ 50! Being Canadian, it was also nice to have the option to pay in CAD instead of USD. And less tax! Worth a visit if you like purses.

One of the better outlet stores in the Lake George Area. A little on the small side, but not a bad place to stop if you have an afternoon free for some shopping! As with any coach outlet store, they hand you coupons on the door which can come in handy when you are purchasing items that are already discounted. :) Can be a bit hard to spot as the location is the back corner of the stripmall. Def worth going to though if you need a new handbag or wallet.
