Food was excellent, nice portions & would go back again.

Portions are made to feed a bear for sure. Friendly server comfortable atmosphere. I had the corned beef hash and it was fantastic for sure fresh and not from a can. Come hungry for sure the portions and food will not dissapoint.

The food is always amazing! Today I had the Parmesan Crusted Sourdough Cheesebuger — YUM! Similar to a Patty Melt but Parmesan Sourdough plus tomato and Dijon Mustard. The staff is friendly and quick. Try their fresh-​squeezed orange juice

Had a awesome omlett at this place, so glad we shared it was plenty of food and yummy too.

The food was plentiful and well done. This isn’t some 5 star restaurant, it’s where you go when you’re hungry and want food. And, food a plenty they provide. The prime rib and eggs were on my plate, wife got chicken fried something, son got biscuits and gravy. No one could finish their portions so no one got pie and that was disappointing, the pies looked great. Shout out to Jenn, the creamy horseradish was the perfect addition.

We like The Bear and we especially like «Jennifer» as she is the best server there. We go here about once every week or two and we usually bring friends.

This place has the BEST breakfast. Huge portions and enough variety to please everyone. Best of all breakfast is served all day long. The breakfast scrambles with egg whites are awesome.

Huge portions, fresh OJ and friendly faces. Best breakfast we have had in a very long time! You will not be disappointed.

We arrived at 9 on a Saturday morning and were seated right away. It was very busy tho. Jennifer took care of us, seating us by quickly greeting us and taking drink orders. She had to get help from her coworkers later tho.
Our breakfast arrived in 6 minutes. My wife ordered two eggs, hash browns, sausage and coffee. I got the corned beef hash plate which came with choice of potatoes, choice of bread plus two eggs for $ 26 plus tip.
The eggs on both plates were good. Not dry at all. The hash browns were big cut potatoes which kept them from crusting but still had good flavor. The corned beef was excellent. Good spices, fork-​shredded and good beef to potato ratio.
Why only four stars? The server in the next section offered specials that we never heard about. They also have an insect problem. Several flies, gnats and mosquitos inside. Get a bug lamp!

Just doesn’t get better, fresh squeezed orange juice. Biscuits and gravy very very good. Tri tip scramble was excellent. Service was quick and very courteous. This place was packed and hectic and these people were on top of everything. They know how to handle a crowd and don’t be scared of a line because they get you in faster then you would think. The list was lengthy but they whip out food so fast (and that means fresh to me) that we were in and out very fast. All the food was just great and the biscuits were fresh baked and good. Thanks to all of the the staff for there professional and ability to handle the volume that these guys do. Five stars well deserved!

It’s hard to distinguish dinner food, the food is fine here but what really stands out is the service. They really care and take the time to show it.

Best breakfast in Havasu. Great food. Chicken Apple sausage, biscuits and gravy, red rose potatoes, omg it is so good. Always busy but they have a bar with self seating. We almost always get a seat promptly. These employees are so fast and always friendly. It’s a great place to eat and there is lots of parking. They even make their own chips! The atmosphere is great. They have an area dedicated to selling unique items like shirts, cups and puzzles. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’m very glad they are here!

This place was sooo good. It honestly reminds me a lot of Corkys. Their food portions are HUGE. I got a breakfast off of the smaller portion section of the menu & I didn’t even finish it! I would really recommend eating here if you’re in the area. SO DELICIOUS. Definitely the best place to eat at in Lake Havasu.

We had to wait for a table for 20 minutes and Margie made sure every time before she gave a booth away that we didn’t want it. .she offered us something to drink. .made us feel welcome even though we had to wait longer then anyone else. she is AWESOME!

The lines are usually pretty long but it’s a big step up from Denny’s. When we’re in town we’ll usually sneak in a breakfast here if we’re up early enough.
Pretty standard fare Americana but it’s done well.

I reviewed this diner before and thought I would return and give it a try glad I did had a good experience and food was delish. I will be back. Taco salad rocks! Good service too!

Old fashion cooking with great service to boot. I will be coming back whenever we are in town.

Black bear offers the best breakfast in Havasu. The portions are large and reasonably priced.
Portions are one thing but food is extremely fresh and flavorful. You can go either way as far as healthy or saturated fat. They do both extremes very well. I think their benedicts and their scrambles are great. The pancakes are some of yummiest I have had.
Service is always warm and efficient. Make sure you arrive 9 am or earlier or you will wait a long time Fridays-​sundays.

Be prepared to come with a buddy. They’re meals are perfect for sharing and are very reasonably priced .the griZZ was really good and just the right combination of breakfast items to start my day. We only waited about 8 mins to be seated which was really good and our waitress was very sweet.

Even if you take the top 10% and bottom 10% reviews and delete them before running an average, you’ll still have a 4 – 5 star diner. And having gone to other Black Bear Diner locations, I can also say that I’ve experienced consistently good food and service.
This past trip to Havasu and Parker, we stayed in Havasu the first night, and had breakfast at Black Bear the first morning in AZ. As everyone relates, orders arrive in the «Boutiful-​Configuration-​Mode.» Food is usually good; sometimes very good to really good. I haven’t had a «fail» at any location. And if we did, I’m sure they’d replace the order. Oh… the coffee? For American drip style, it’s bold and flavorful. (I’m in the Specialty Coffee Industry… an importer of Brasilian beans). I rarely will drink typical American drip brew. But there are a few restaurants that do it right.
Bottom line… and especially if you’re looking for a good breakfast… trust the majority of Unilocalers and just go to Black Bear. While anything is possible… I’m betting you’ll have a good to great experience.
