Great pie, amazing pastries! Best pie I’ve had in the area. Their pies are sold at several stores, but it’s freshest and best from the shop. They are still warm when you get there at the right time.

This place has the best pie and cookies! My Aunts love the blueberry pie. I thought the Apple was great. Plus the Chocolate Chip cookies are soooo good. Can’t wait to try more.

A true gem in Lake Leelanau. The cherry pie was the best I ever had! We also had the almond popover which was spectacular as well. I would definitely stop back if ever remotely in the area.

This bakery is a destination that should be on everyone’s travel list. Everything that we tried was amazing. Definitely try the ham and asparagus crescent, but get there early because they go fast. Can’t wait to try the apple cherry pie and the asparagus and Swiss quiche!

I’m a pie baker. I am a harsh and cruel judge when it comes to pies. I am picky and I will be very critical of a pie. But damn. this is gooooood. G-e-w-d. Like I need this in my life. Can you please send me a pie to Indy once a week??? Express delivery??? I enjoy the varieties they had and purchased a mini pie to take home. Nice flaky crust, delicious and juicy interior(cherry), good to the last little baby crumb. I have only been once and it was a good experience. The staff is friendly and didn’t mind that we drooled a little over the selections. This is pie we’re talking about folks. This is extremely serious business. Put your game face on. Grab a fork and dig in!

We stopped here to get some breakfast pastries on a recommendation from the owner of the cottage we rented. The chocolate croissants were great as well as the cherry scones. Unfortunately by 9 am on a busy Saturday they were out of the plain croissants. You could see the bakers busy in the back. I would definitely return and take some time to relax at the outdoor tables.

Coming back from Leland, stopped by there but the place was already closed. Thankfully, the owner had a white board sign outside stating where else we could find the pies. Hum. The local grocery down the street stocked them. So, U-turn and go in… picked up a mini peach pie and a full size Balaton cherry pie. Peach is out of season here so the fruit must have been IQF but of very good quality. The crust is OUTSTANDING! I was eager to try the cherry pie since I am used to the Montmorency variety that we all know and love. The inside of the pie was DARK red and the flavor was wonderful. However, it seemed a little short on actual fruit. Was it made with the dried variety? That would surprise me since they are full-on into cherry season up there. Anyway, I would definitely go in there again if and when we are nearby. I would like to try the other pastries.
