I have eaten Thai food all over the country including in Hawaii where I lived for a few years and this is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Excellent Fresh Rolls(Summer or Spring rolls with shrimp) with a delicious peanut sauce. We shared a prawn with panang curry sauce and a prawn with mango special, both of which were outstanding. The flavors were delicate, complex and richly layered, reminding me why I so love this cuisine! The presentation was lovely on all the dishes as well with fresh basil garnish and shredded cabbage and carrots made into small bouquets on the plates. Truly a delight for the senses. I was also very pleasantly surprised that they offer some nice Oregon wines by the glass for incredibly reasonable prices. All around wonderful dining experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this gem in Lake Oswego. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Nice ambiance with the surprising touch of linen napkins!

Great tom kha soup, ambience and friendly service. However the entrees were too sweet that after a few bites it leaves you feeling quesy. Disappointed as they were spot on with flavored but the sweetness overpowered everything. Even when ordering 3 star. We got the D5. Beef from the special menu and the N8 — eggplant with tofu stir fry . Not sure we will try again as being heavy handed wth sugar is something many Thai restaurants find hard to fix. There were other patrons who seemed to enjoy the food. It depends on your palate.

Arguably some of the best Thai food in Portland, with nice atmosphere, good prices, and huge portions. Service is usually good(I’ve actually had my order come out within a matter of minutes once or twice), but occasionally very bad, hence four stars instead of five.

I love thai food. There’s is bland, the sauces were chicken soupy instead of thick & flavorful. We took 9 people, spent $ 186.00& not so much as a thank you. The coldest service I have ever received in a restaurant. I was like they were upset we came into the restaurant & I left a nice tip! I will return to Thai Village in Wilsonville, OR for my Thai fix.

This is by far the best Thai food in the south west portland. I get the pad Ki Mao which is consistently top notch. My bro bro swears by the yellow chicken curry. Their spicy rating system is a little on the American side. Staple of lake Oswego dining.

Won’t go back. For the price, randomness in the noodles and quality. No thanks. Phad Thai fail.

We’re sitting her tonight, 9:30, having a lovely meal and the staff starts dusting, mopping and vacuuming around us! They close at 10pm. Good food for sure, but bad service and environment, get take out!

Good food and friendly service. You get what you expect here. They don’t have great wine or beer but the thai food is good. The servers are authentic and polite. Even though it is in Lake Oswego, it isnt extra fancy or anything but they do seem to have some patrons that are a little too aware of themselves. Not a private experience at all, actually a little loud. Over all a good place to go to lunch with a parent or something…

My favorite place to go to for Thai. Everything is really fresh and tastes amazing!!! I’ve tried many Thai restaurants, this is my go to. I love the fresh rolls, coconut soup and any entrée.

This is a dang disappointing review On arrival the server used a cold wet towel on our table leaving me to gather paper napkins to complete the cleaning and drying. Next was a tasteless green curry and tasteless rice. The pork in it was rubbery, overlooked and flavorless. This used to be our Thai restaurant of choice. No more. We found out that it had changed ownership. We won’t be back.

We got some amazing food like the curry salmon and POPIASOD so good. some awesome flavors. But also an item or two on the menu might not be our favorite.

Take out a few times now. Fast and convenient! Here’s our feedback on specific menu items: Stuffed Calamari– bland, we all agreed that we probably wouldn’t do this one again but saw other reviews where people loved it. Missed the curry in this even though it’s in the description. Tom Yum– flavor packed unapologetic, you better like lemongrass, ginger and mushrooms. *Drunken Noodles– medium is just sweet so we suggest more heat at least hot, noodles are a little dry but the flavor is addictive. Chicken is our favorite here-It is perfectly cooked and moist. *Beef salad– YUM. Very hot has a really nice kick! *Chicken Satay– our kiddos favorite peanut sauce is amazing. Lemongrass chicken– very good served with rice, perfectly steamed broccoli, carrots, and an generous serving of the amazing peanut sauce mentioned above. If you are looking for the spinach, cabbage or zucchini to be prominent you might be disappointed. Also for being called lemongrass, we missed this flavor. More like a moist chicken satay over perfectly steamed broccoli with a side of rice and peanut sauce. Volcano beef– eh we were neutral. We expected a little different flavor with the title I think. The pineapple and bell pepper were the big flavors in this dish. *fresh roles– I think we just love any excuse to have that peanut sauce *thai iced tea– sweet and creamy. We like it! We like the tastes however we find the descriptions a little off. We do keep coming back for our *favorites.

My go-to Thai restaurant in the area. They are always very consistent in the quality of their food and service. I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner, and their Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Yellow Curry are winners time and time again. Recently I was able to try their Tom Yum Soup and I highly recommend it! Because I’ve had such consistently good experiences here with both service and food, this would be the place I trust to start trying other Thai dishes that are less well known. Besides food and service, the place itself has an easy-to-spot location and a good amount of parking. The inside makes smart use of the space, is clean, well-decorated, and pretty classy in my book. Date night here wouldn’t disappoint. 5 stars for Dang’s! Keep up the good job!

Okay experience, 1 star for quick seating(lots of tables), 1 star for customer service(while it wasn’t the fastest, it was thorough, bringing us everything we need & then some!) and 1 star for the tom kha soup! I got the tom kha soup w/a side of rice, my partner got pad kee mao-we both shared calamari. While we both enjoyed the soup, the rice was actually a tad bit soggy(nothing crazy), pad kee mao was the usual and the calamari was on the appetizers(it was deep fried on one side and filled with different meat). Okay but a little rubbery, I preferred this a little more than she did. I would pop in upon another craving!

So having been there a few times, I keep coming back to continue exploring the menu. It’s a challenge that has inherent risks that new choices might not stand up to the wonderful familiar choices, but someone has to do it and I’m in. The other part about this challenge is that with only two fellow adventurers with me, it’s either going to take a lot of trips or I will need to order more food than we can possibly eat. I went with option two since leftovers are usually welcome trophies to bring home. Here’s what we had this time: 1 –Gai Hor Bai Toey deep fried marinated tender chicken wrapped in padumus leaves with special sesame sauce. 2 –Som Tum green papaya salad 3 –Chicken larb on lettuce(special request vs. default cabbage) 4 –Lemongrass chicken 5 –Pineapple fried rice with veggies instead of meat or tofu 1 — very tasty, the sauce was a great addition. There were 5 servings here, one was one huge piece of chicken that was tough to manage with only a fork, the others were a collection of small pieces. The 2 meat eaters(my wife and me) both agreed they were very good. Sadly, the one we brought home as a left over didn’t fare well on reheating. 2 –For our veggie daughter. Very tasty — they create noodle looking strips of green papaya and add additional ingredients to make the salad. We both felt that the spice level reflected native Thai spiciness — medium was spot on for both of us, hotter than that and we would have been in trouble 3 — My second attempt was much more successful than the first. I also ordered medium as I remembered how medium-hot was way over the top the first time here. Asking for lettuce instead of cabbage was a huge win. The serving was huge and it was easy to make lettuce«cups» of the spiced, seasoned ground chicken and share them. If you look at this as an appetizer, it would easily feed 5 – 6 people. As an entrée, I took over half of it home. I took some rice and packed this in on top to soak up the great sauce and it was amazing as a leftover. 4 — Our second time with this. It’s good, it comes with a lot of broccoli. My wife and I thought the peanut sauce might have been a little thick. I will order the lemon chicken next time — it’s a lot lighter and also does better if you take any home. 5 — Wonderful! We asked to substitute veggies for the protein choices and we were very pleased with the result. Lots of veggie goodness in the fried rice with pineapple, something that we will repeat again soon. Service continues to be top notch — the food came quickly and our water glasses were never empty. It’s a comfortable place to eat and a very pleasant experience. This continues to be the place I want to take out of town visitors. Unlike some places, I think this place really gets the spice level right. If you ask for medium heat on a spicey dish, you will feel the heat. Go hotter if you like, just be forewarned.

Overall impression I give 5 stars for food and 3 stars for service. So four total. ;) I am a big Thai food fan and have been to tons of these places all over Portland area and outside into suburbs. This one is close by our house and we had never actually tried it. We stopped in last night at 8pm(on a Wednesday) and the place was packed. We had a short wait for our table(about 5 minutes) but that was only because the restaurant was pretty busy and slightly understaffed. Lots of people were getting to go orders and we grabbed the only open table in the whole place! Ambience The ambience would get 2 stars. Nice enough but nothing I would think of for a special night out with my husband. Pretty casual, we had a fun time and excellent food. Food I orders yellow curry and we split the vegetarian egg rolls. I always get a side of peanut sauce as this is a favorite of mine. All of the food was superb, delicious, well presented and tasted fresh and flavorful. Unique spices in my mild dish presented a fun«tangy» and sweet flavor that dressed up a mild flavor without overdoing it. My palette is pretty basic and most unique food is a turn off to me. However, I liked that they added cucumber and broccoli to a traditionally carrots, cabbage and potato dish. Huge sizes(I could have split it and still been too full to finish). The egg rolls were so good that for a vegetarian appetizer I was convinced there must be meat in it! Too my surprise is was not meat but another inventive option, the egg rolls had silver noodles and veggies but also taro root(similar to potato). Filling and very tasty! Ending comment Bottom line, we will go back for the food but probably would choose this as a casual go-to lunch spot or evening to-go order. Great place and local favorite!

A nice quiet spot for that end-of-the-weekend, I’m not in the mood to cook, but know I’ll get some good eats and feels like I’m eatin’ healthy… kind of place. The Fresh Rolls with Shrimp were light and delicate, the peanut plum sauce… yum! The Yellow Curry with Chicken, this is what I try and replicate at home, but why? The right amount of heat, this is comfort food.
