I was staying at the hotel next door so I decided to give this place a try since I was hungry and it was cold and rainy outside. For my appetizer I ordered the coconut shrimp which was good but for an entrée I ordered the sweet and sassy chicken and it lacked flavor. It was extremely bland. The service here was great but I would skip it if you have other options.

Bad service! And food was not that great! I was not checked in with once. I saw at least two other tables get up and ask for water. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant! Never coming back! Please hire more people so that everyone’s dining experience is more pleasurable. Everyone at the restaurant had a look of frustration because no one was coming to check in on them.

We started with fresh(salad) rolls, vegetarian. They were nice and fresh, but not spectacular. The sauce was what looked and tasted like rice vinegar with crushed peanuts, too thin and lacking. I still might order them again. We also had the Tom Yum soup, and it was great. My Special Peanut sauce dish with shrimps as the meat option($ 13) was good, and I counted all of 7 of the sea — going creatures, with their tails inconveniently still attached. My date had their Hot paradise with chicken ordered medium spiciness. It turned out to be spicier than expected. I took a bite of the chicken, and it was way too spicy for me, and there had been no water brought to the table, let alone offered by the server. We were never asked if we wanted seconds on beer, and our server all but walked by early to ask how things were. Food was generally good, but not great. Service was lacking. I’ve had better Tai food, and better service. .

Ordered to go, the wait was about 30 mins but the person over the phone told me it would be 15 mins, I guess you just have to wait a while after arrival. The food we got was just ok, onion were chopped into huge chunks I felt like I’ve ate a whole onion in my drunken noodles, pumpkin curry was mediocre, I suggest Thai bloom for their pumpkin curry, that was heavenly! Boyfriend got mango over sticky rice and it was lack of coconut milk or syrup(?) it was rather dry than flavored, the whole coconut flavor was adding by coconut chips so I’d say skip this. I’m half Thai and I wouldn’t consider it Authentic Thai food, but it was good to have it in the neighborhood. I doubt I will dine here again, it wasn’t bad, it’s just there are too many good Thai restaurant in town.

I’ve been here three times and I’m happy to say that each time we’ve visited, the food has been pretty darn good. My family loved the food(with two kids, that’s a huge plus for me). The satay was not overly dry(I’ve had some requiring water with each bite!). The Golden egg told and fresh spring rolls were good. The tom yum and tom kah soups were very flavorful! The pad thai was not bad(it wasn’t a strike for me). The yellow and green curry was right on. We had the fried banana once and it was delicious! A bit small for what we’re used to, but the breading was done right and not caked in oil. They managed the spice levels well per our requests. We’ve also tried a few more dishes, but I can’t recall the names… But all were tasty! Clean place, nice ambiance, and a very friendly management! Not bad at all for Lake Oswego!

So yummy!!! I only gave it 4 rather than 5 because I ordered take out and they gave me Pad Thai rather than the Oswego Noodle that I ordered. It was still delish.

The food was great and delicious but the customer service was poor. I do understand that we came in during lunch but I felt rushed from the minute we walked in… I don’t know about other people but it makes you feel like you need to rush and get out when your food and the check comes together. I would recommend the place for its food but not for its service, maybe I’ll stop by again but not during lunch hour.

The food overall is too salty… Watch out for those who have blood pressure. The waitress is so slow serving the customer, we literally must serve drink by ourselves while they are talking in the back near the kitchen. Also watch out for the price when you try to order for choosing the meat, if you choose Sea food they charge $ 7 extra just to charge having a little tiny sea food. Overall there are many other thai restaurants which a lot better service, better taste and better price in town…

Great service here, very attentive. The few ladies who work here are always nice and efficient, they remember you and do their best to welcome customers. Food is always fresh and prepared just right, portions are great and the price is on point. The place is easy on the eyes, nothing fancy but peaceful colors and clean. The food always comes fast and is consistent in quality. The coconut soup was a highlight to be sure. And my girlfriend craves the thai pumpkin curry.

Dined here for lunch on October 26, 2015. Ordered Thai Basil Fried Rice. Excellent. Freshly prepared and served hot. Also had Thai Iced Coffee, which was OK. Service was efficient and the lunch crowd surges around noon, so come a little early to get seated quickly.

«Meh.» is accurate for this place. I was hoping it was at least«OK» since it’s one of the closer Thai restaurants. As a caveat, I generally like my Thai food mouth burning and sweat inducing levels of spicy. Anytime I go to a new place I order my food extra spicy and this was no exception. I ordered the extra spicy larb, but I’d personally rate it 3⁄10 for spiciness. There was a bit of spiciness, my mouth tingled with a bit of burn-y feelings, but not anywhere near«hot’ let alone«extra spicy». As I told a friend while I ate, «spice level is ‘Im half done in five minutes’». The food was not bad despite the lack of heat. There were two reasons I won’t come back, though. 1. They gave me the grossest, bottom end lettuce I’ve ever seen. Larb is served with lettuce leaves so you can scoop the meats into. I didn’t even get leaves, I got the hard part of a head of lettuce. See the pictures, seriously. 2. I asked for lettuce leaves and got a response of «um. yeah, yeah sure.» Its lettuce. It has to be the cheapest food cost item on the planet. What’s with the hesitation to give me what actually comes with my meal so I’m not spooning straight up ground meat into my mouth? It genuinely seemed like they weren’t going to agree for a few moments. If they hadn’t screwed up the lettuce and acted unsure of if they even wanted to give it to me I probably would have tried them out again. If you can’t get lettuce right, I don’t even know.

I have been here a couple of times, and the food is enjoyable. I like their pad thai, and their cashew chicken dish was great as well. Definitely worth trying out if you like thai food. Service was good for us as well when we went on a Saturday afternoon.

I am Thai so I have pretty high standards for authentic Thai food. Now, I understand that this is in a strip mall — so I set my expectations slightly lower and I was overall pleasantly surprised with my meal. Let me start by saying the interior is beautifully decorated. Very clean and lots of Thai decorations. The service is really top notch. Our water glasses were never empty and they came to check on us often. All of the food came out nice & hot, a great sign that everything is cooked to order. We ordered: Appetizer platter: my favorite part about this dish is all the food came out piping hot! Typically these appetizers come out like warm and greasy. This was not the case at all. Loved trying the two different sauces Papaya salad: I was so excited to see this traditional Thai dish on the menu since most restaurants don’t have it. Overall it was very tasty, but it was missing some key ingredients like dried shrimp. The sauce was heavy on the fish sauce and I prefer my sauce to have more lime juice. Spicy catfish: another traditional Thai food that my dad used to make at home. The catfish was piping hot(signs of being fresh!) and I loved the green beans in it as well. I also appreciated that the sauce didn’t drench my catfish. Mango & sticky rice: a delicious desert. Could’ve used more of the coconut white sauce, but the coconut shavings provided a nice crunch. Overall, I would definitely come back if I lived close by. Good prices, great portions, and stellar service. Really a solid 3.5 star restaurant.

Good looking restaurant, ample seating. Minor annoyance was the booth next to us has little support. When the girthy gentlemen sitting in back of me would move the backrest would move towards me a bit, happened 3times. Food, ordered the drunken noodles($ 9 i think), they were delicious, spicy but not overwhelming and lots of food. The food took a bit long but we were notified of the issue which is approximated, and honestly the wait wasnt long at all. Had he ices tea which was also good, prompt refills too. Good, friendly service, much appreciated. All in all a flavorful experience, but id sit at a table next time.

We went here because it was close to our hotel. We were very pleased. The service was top-notch — like we were at a high-end restaurant. The food was world-class. I can’t say enough good about this place. Again, stellar service. Delicious food. The portions were enormous.

I went here based on a recommendation from a family friend. Clearly he likes it more than I do. The ambience is nice for being in a strip mall. The service was excellent; very quick and friendly. I ordered a pad kee mao(drunken noodles) with tofu. They brought out pad kee mao with chicken. The server apologized and brought me a corrected order pretty rapidly. The taste was okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. I have had much better. I most likely will not return here.

Everything was salty. SUPER salty. We got a pad kee mao with pork(I think they called it drunken noodles here), a cashew chicken, and a beef salad, and even the salad was salty. HOW? I know, part of it is because I prefer food that’s not over seasoned because I like to taste the ingredients instead of the sauces, but this one was over-the-top salty. Pad kee mao/drunken noodles had more veggies and meat than noodles, which theoretically would be a good deal but the portion was pretty small compared to other Thai restaurants. I wished there would be more noodles(but not decreasing the amount of meat & veggies) for me to enjoy… because I am a carb fiend. Cashew chicken was very saucy… I had trouble consuming it because my tongue was numbed by all the salt. Beef salad was a little better because there was some acidity in it to cleanse my palate… but over all the entire meal was packed with salt. Probably won’t be back again unless I get desperate.

I was in town for a four day training and got a craving for Thai. Thai Basil happened to be close and looked the part. I read several complaints about service, but I experienced friendly and timely service. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I ordered the paneng curry with pork and it was delicious! The portion was big enough for two meals and I’m no shy eater! The hot sauces were very good as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back again!

Good quality Thai food. Service is good and quick, and food comes out fast and hot. The pad thai was great. Fairly typical strip mall style restaurant with dishes that taste about how you think they would taste. But there’s something pleasant about expectations being met and stereotypes being true… it’s called reliability… and I like a place that is reliable.
