The worst place ever. No idea what they’re doing. They refused to serve people who had been waiting in line BEFORE closing time and they had been taking FOREVER. Almost like it was on PURPOSE! I’m no genius or anything though.

It’s fast food and so my standards weren’t sky high to begin with… I’ve been to different Dairy Queens in the surrounding areas and have never been charged extra for requesting milk instead of pop in their $ 5 lunch meals. This place charges you an extra $ 0.69 for milk. In order to get the price refunded for the two milks I ordered with the meals, the manager finally came to the drive-thru window and told me that just this one time he will refund the money. I told him that all the other DQs haven’t charged me extra but he didn’t seem interested. Although how 69 cents x 2 equals $ 1.20 I am not sure, but I wasn’t going to prolong my visit any longer. The onion rings I ordered were ok. Slightly overdone, but fine. The amount received for the large order was a good third less than other locations. The ordering process was slower than it should have been, in my opinion. Shouldn’t have to repeat the order 3 times. Good customer service is becoming a lost art and, unfortunately, you won’t find it here. That being said, I won’t come back to this location.

I visited this Dairy Queen on a weekday at about 2:15 the afternoon through the drive thru. There was no one ahead of me and the restaurant did not seem to be busy. I placed my order for a cheeseburger and a milkshake and proceeded to the drive thru window. At the window I could see in the kitchen and saw the cook take a already prepared patty out of a container add condiments wrap the burger and place it in the microwave. By the time I was done paying the burger was in a bag and handed to me out the window. This burger reminded me of gas station or mini mart sandwiches that I had bought in the past. The meat was hard and dry. After two bites I decided to return and request my money back. I asked for a manager and told her about my experience. Her reply was«that’s how we do it here»(good to know). I called the comment line that was on the outside of the bag and their response was that they have no control over individual owners and their stores, but that my concerns would be escalated and the store would be contacted. This will be my final experience at this store.

I ordered a medium blizzard, was over charged for toppings and then given an incorrectly made blizzard. I asked about the charge, and it took two employees to be able to tell me «that’s what the computer shows» but not actually explain why I was over charged, and when I called to speak with the manager I was laughed at. They’re rude, unable to correctly take and charge for an order, and obviously don’t care about the customer as management laughed in my face about it. I would NEVER recommend coming here, especially because of the treatment. Save your money and take it ANYWHERE but here.

Im with Brianna B. The blizzards are horrible! The top of the blizzard is all mixed together and then the rest of it is all vanilla ice cream! They don’t serve them with the whipped cream and nutmeg on top either — that has always been a part of the entire blizzard package! Id rather drive all the way to Marysville for the blizzards, now they do theirs the RIGHT way. And something else thats weird about lake Stevens DQ is that they call the half and half quart the«twist» when its always been called the half and half SWIRL. Since I was a child its been called the swirl and when I ask for it they don’t know what im talking about. Then I tried a couple times to use their name for it and then they reverted to calling it a SWIRL! What the heck? Are they just messing with me? Maybe they should go train in the Marysville DQ!!!

I’m SO glad that Lake Stevens brought back our Dairy Queen but I’m terribly sorry that they didn’t bring back the same kind of staff they had. I don’t exactly expect to have to put forth much effort when ordering from fast food places. But every time I order a blizzard here, first of all I have to mix it my SELF, which isn’t the whole point that you’re working? Why do I have to do your job? Secondly it’s 80% vanilla ice cream. Why am I paying extra dollars for toppings when they’re only sprinkled on the top? Going to avoid this place from now on. I’d rather drive to Marysville.

Just paid my second and last visit to this location. The first time wasn’t good but I thought I’d give them another try. On this second visit, I ordered two bacon burgers and when I got home, less and a couple minutes later as I live very close, the burgers were cold, the bread was hard and there wasn’t any bacon. I called and spoke with the manager but felt as it was a waste of time. After the wait I had sitting in the drive through I expected to have warm if not hot food but that wasn’t the case. The only thing giving this review a star at all is the snickers blizzard I ordered, the only good thing that came out of this.

My food came fast, the staff was really friendly, and a Reece’s butterfinger blizzard is the way to go!
