Vip Nails and Spa

Been coming here for Years and never had a problem! They always make sure that everything is to your liking! I have acrylic nails and I tend to break them a lot and they fix it for free! Their pedicures are to die for, especially for the cost! And the massage chair
It is hard to understand them at first but when you give it time you get used to how they pronounce things when they talk to you. YES THEY ACTUALLY TALK TO YOU! They’re very family oriented and so very friendly. The owner loves talking about his sons (you actually see one of them quite a few times helping out)

I don’t understand how VIP Nails and Spa could have 2.5 stars on Unilocal and another Lake Stevens Salon that I visited a few months back had nearly 5 stars, and it was awful.
Anyhow. I walked in today for my first visit ever (Saturday) without an appointment. My first impression — clean, nicely arranged, not too many tchotchkes (haha). They were very busy, but had a couple pedicure chairs open and immediately showed me to a chair to soak my feet while the finished others. The water was warm. I say this because at the other local salon the water was cold. The pedicure chair was very comfortable. It was clean and in good condition in comparison to other places I have been. The massage that it provided was nice. I am happy with the way my toes turned out. I also got a basic manicure. Total for the two services was $ 30 before tip. A bargain in my book!

This place okay. They almost manipulated me into getting a French tip on my fingers, even though my nails are extremely short. The French tip is covering half of my nail, and is uneven between nails. Also, I looked down and saw that my big toe was smudged. Not too happy about that. So, I ended up with mediocre nails.

I will never, ever go to this place again! I went for the first time last Thursday for a shellac manicure and four of my nails have already broken. That and the manicure looks about three weeks old. This is the worst I’ve ever had and I have a wedding to go to this weekend with really short nails now. Terrible, horrible!

I’ve gone to this place for a couple years and never had any issues until today. They are usually quick and efficient and the cost is great. I went in for a manicure and pedicure which according to their price board was $ 30. The gal asked if I wanted the shellec manicure and made it seem as if it would just a be a little bit more. I should have asked how much more. It added $ 18 to the $ 30 price. Really? She muttered something about how she should have told me beforehand. Ya think?! For that much more, you need to be real clear with your customers. There are too many other places in the area, I won’t be back.

I love this place. My mom and I come for our pedicures and manicures. They’re super friendly and try and get you in as fast as they can. We’ve been coming here for years now. They don’t really hound you to get more services and they work really hard. Definitely come here!

everything was ok

I have been coming here for four years and have no complaints. They are clean, fast, do a good job and also give stamp cards so you can earn a free service. This is just asgood as any other nail salon that gets you in and out but in my opinion, better vecause its newer and clean. Like i said, been going for 4 years and no issues so the people giving 1 star are whiners.

I’m done trying this place. Last time I went I told them I had arthritis in my hand joints so to be careful. They weren’t. This time I told them again, «I need you to be very gentle as I have arthritis in my hands. I also am just getting over an infection in this finger, so please be very careful.» Again, I don’t think she believed me because she made me jump with pain on that finger. Then, when she hurt it again and I jumped, she said, «oh, like a baby.»
Nice enough people, but don’t listen to the customer.
