First time here on Monday. Don’t have to wait weeks for my 2nd appointment ! Thank goodness! The ladies at the check-​in area were very very helpful.

On the one hand, the receptionist is pleasant and friendly, as is the security guard that sits in a little cubicle when you first walk in. Wait time is usually pretty manageable. On the other hand, it’s still a Kaiser Permanente facility, so you never really feel like anyone actually gives a crap about you. You’re just a file to them.

I really love my doctor, Dr. Lawenda. Him and all of his staff are super friendly and make me feel very comfortable. I love the theory of Kaiser, that everything is in one place, and no need for a middle man, which eliminates the high cost of insurance. It is affordable insurance, and Dr. Lawenda REALLY cares about each and every one of his patients.
Got some blood work done today, and although there were 20 people in front of me, it didn’t take more than a half hour to finish.
