I personally do not like this location but I do like the one located on san dario. SANDARIO*** I love ordering the Dulce de Leche preparado. It is frozen yogurt with nuts, cajeta and fruit. Another favorite of mine is the flaming hots preparados. It consists of flaming hot cheetos, diced pickles, sour belts, chamoy, and lime. They’re amazing! *watch out for the heartburn lol! I have tried the tostitos salsa verde with the corn, queso fresco, and green salsa but it was extremely salty! Overall I love this place to fulfill my snack cravings! Snack attack central!

Chocolateka is going DOWNHILL fast! I ordered the chocoberry cup and chocolate was rock hard in clumps! My husband ordered the chocolate covered oreos. EWWW! 1st chocolate was stale and tasted very old. All of their ingredients is store bought GENERIC. Sams wholesale to the rescue. They buy the cheesecake bites and cookies there. The ice cream is generic heb no label brand. If you gonna charge high prices the quality needs to be there. Marshmellows and gummy bears all generic.

Delicious and healthy dessert options. If you need something sweet but don’t want to eat heavily this is a must. Chocolate is delicious and the fruit is fresh. Great dessert concept!

I was really excited to go to this place and buy a Chamoy covered apple. I am here from out of town and wanted to take some home as a souvenir. Well as it turns out one apple cost $ 6! That was so expensive, well I decided to eat one apple here today and take one home. The lady recommended I get it «dressed» with lime and more Chamoy and sliced in a cup. They charged me a whole extra dollar to squirt a lime and slice an apple! Altogether I paid almost $ 14 for two apples! Honestly I liked the taste but the prices are truly outrageous.

A very unique and interesting way to eat fruits. We don’t have this type of deserts back in Houston so this was a nice experience. The store is very clean and with comfortable sofas. The workers are also very friendly. You have to try the fruit cup with«chamoy» not sure how you spell it but I took a picture of it.

This place is overrated. I usually get the ice cream cup, but I don’t like that they overcharge for certain fruit all year round, and the fruit isn’t always fresh. The ingredients aren’t anything special. I’ve had better ice cream and chocolate when I make it myself at home, so why is it so expensive? Although the place is colorful, it feels too cluttered, and it is not too comfortable. The service is good at this location. I prefer it over the one off the highway. If you are craving chocolate, I suppose this is the only place to go. I can’t think of anywhere else, but I suggest you save your money. It’s not worth it.

Ok, so I’m not a big fan of chocolate fountains, mainly because you have to eat the drizzled chocolate quickly before it becomes rock hard– like it does when you pour chocolate on ice cream. It gets difficult to really enjoy the combination of ice cream and fruit with rock hard chocolate impeding the spoon from grabbing a scoop. The ladies are really nice and gave out samples to try the different things, and I had no problem with the fruit being fresh. I think next time though I’ll skip the ice cream and just have fruit drizzled with chocolate topped with almonds and coconut… Off my rant and back to the review. fruit– good. chocolate– good. service– good. ice cream– good. But don’t let the name fool you, the have chamoy options too! Cute date spot and a nice change of pace from fro-yo.

Do yourself a favor and please get the chocolateka ice-cream cup. It comes in a still really big portioned small size and large(which I think is great for sharing between couples). One draw back however is that the fruit isn’t the freshest but still good, and Chocolateka can be a little pricey. However, the chocolate is delicious. I’ve tried both the milk and dark chocolate and they’re both so good. And the chocolate fountains are a plus ;-)
