Had a wonderful time at BJ’s. My girlfriend and I had the best bartender ever! Thank you Courtney!!!

A great locals spot or even for out of town-ers! I’ve thrown back a few beers here with friends and even tried their food. Where else will you find a promotion where you can win an all expense boob job?! Not that I need one but I’m sure someone does… This place is easy to get to as it is just off the strip. There are a few comfy leather sofas to lounge in and a handful of slots in case you’re feeling lucky. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. I’d be back again for sure. Give this place a try when in the area. You won’t be disappointed. Remember to tip well!

Never considered visiting this place because their logo led me to assume it’s a strip club. You know the girlie silhouettes like the truckers have on the mud flaps? Yeah, that’s pretty much what’s on their signage, and having exited 95 on Rancho for over a decade, it smacked of Larry’s Villa vibe to me. So I diligently stayed away because I’m PG13, except I love beer. And I swear. I’m just a stick in the mud with a foul mouth, I guess. Recently stumbled on a review by another Unilocaler and realized it might be worth checking out. BJ’s has multiple locations around the valley, but this was my first visit and I don’t know how they vary from one to another. This review is for location behind MGM Grand, off Trop and Koval. I was very surprised by how nice it turned out to be. It’s huge, open, comfortable couches and tables throughout, two pool tables in a separate alcove with the windows overlooking McCarren. No smell of stale smoke, in fact I didn’t notice smoke odor at all. A liquor store on site that looks like a giant walk in humidor. Not sure of their selection or prices, but I’m sure there is a hefty markup. A cigarette vending machine in the pool table area. Definite plus– no country, music selection stuck to classic rock. Food selection is pretty typical of a kitchen open 24÷7− salads, burgers, appetizers. I expected every ingredient to be pre made and canned, and it was. So these aren’t the freshest nachos that ever nachoed, but I still ate them all because it’s midnight and I get more open minded about my guac at this hour. Newcastle and pyramid on tap– plus. All in all, I loved the place– clean, spacious, comfortable and safe. Yes, it’s important. I have visited a PTs where I didn’t want to get out of my car. Décor is quite nice and staff is friendly. Just watch out for the hump where the faux wood floor bowed by the pool tables and you’ll do fine.

This place blows. They don’t comp drinks that they should. When I brought it to their attention, the bartender’s excuse was«we will watch you more closely next time so we will know how much to comp». Plus a shirtless guy came in asking for a bottle of vodka. Never again will I go back.

I would have given 5 stars… Food was very good, I was honestly very surprised since I had driven by but was hesitant since was not to appealing from the outside. Décor is well set up, big tv’s and comfortable couches to watch any game. When it comes to service… we were very disappointed with the bartender. When asked him about a certain game we wanted to watch, he seems like he was been bother and after we had been playing on the machines and been told by the bartender that as longest as we play the drinks will be comp,(like most of gaming bars do) big surprise when we got the bill, he had been charged for all of the drinks. We work in this industry and know how it works. If his attitude was good, wouldn’t mind paying for it. Customer service will make the difference to keep the guest happy and coming back, food is not enough, a lots of choices out there fortunately, is just an advice!

Bladen is AMAZING! The food here is spectacular. We had the poke stack & the burger(med.) both were so delicious. Living in LA, we have access to world class sushi & the ahi in that poke was among the freshest we’ve ever had. Must GO!

I’ve driven by this place a million times and never really thought to check it out. This all changed last week when I met a old friend there for drinks. Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised by the service and interior. I was expecting a dive bar but turns out that BJ’s actually is a lounge, complete with a big leather sofas, full size pool tables and modern décor. There is even an adjacent liquor store right next to the bar if you want to take the booze with you. Our bartender Bladen was incredibly helpful and welcoming. His food recommendations of buffalo wings and nachos were spot on and his service went way beyond our expectations. The portion on our chicken nachos were huge and the wings were fall off the bone tender. BJ’s gets extra props for having Pyramid hefeweizen on tap and a good selection of IPAs. Beers were decently priced at around $ 5 a pint; come in during happy hour from 4 – 6 for an even better value. Overall it was a great experience thanks to awesome service and top notch food. I’ll definitely be back.

If you have read my review of Bj’s on Tenaya then you know I am a fan of the franchise. I decided to give the Tropicana location a try since a friend of mine was in town. He wanted to have some good food, good drinks and shoot some pool. Fortunately we got to do all 3. Not every Bj’s pub has pool tables but this one does. We walked in and as per the custom we were greeted like we had been there a million times. We sat down and Trish our bartender immediately took our order for drinks. I wish they had more on tap like the Tenaya branch but not a deal breaker. We ordered food and as usual were not disappointed. I can say they do not serve typical bar food. Reasonably priced delicious menu items are the fair here. I got the Poke stack and it was excellent. Also got the Tequila chicken pasta. Not at all what I expected. Had a spice and some artichoke hearts leaving me wanted more each bite. My friend had the Lobster dip and before I could ask for a taste it was gone. He also ordered the mac-n-cheese. I have heard about this dish and can say if you’re going to make mac-n-cheese you need to take it one step above the crowd. This is over the top. Smokey bacon flavored layered with cheesy goodness in every bite. Trish was very attentive and our drinks never empty. I forget the name of the Male bartender behind the bar but he was upbeat and on top of helping with our beverages as well. We were taken care of in the manner of a regular who is there all the time. Good to know that across the board nothing was different from one store to the other. They have 2 pool tables but at the time only one was working so we had to wait to play. But with good food and great customer service we hardly noticed the time go by. Pool tables are clean and cues are maintained and strait. I believe it was the manager Doug who spoke to us(Hope I got name right)(I had been drinking so memory faded) and Doug(?) was kind enough to buy us a shot for any problems we had. We didn’t have any. Thank you Bj’s for being my new go to Vegas Pub. Can you build one in Henderson? Will go here again. And as usual will be at Tenaya on my normal days to go. You need to check this place out. If you are staying on the strip and want to avoid the pricey bars in the Casino and have an excellent meal this is the place to go.

If you more into dive bars with a friendly bar staff than huge Casino bars where no one cares about you come to BJ’s. Cheap prices and friendly staff that like to speak to their customers and make them feel welcome. A nice«neighborhood«bar in a neighborhood where I guess not so many people actually live.

I’ve been a BJS regular since their South location first opened and have been to all 4 locations, including East, multiple times. This location has always been nice to visit, especially late on a Saturday night. Walking distance from the Strip and nice-looking bar and lounge area on the inside. Have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, professionalism of the wait staff and affordable prices. So why, you might ask, would I give them only 3 stars? Well, it’s only fair to make it known that coming here to hang out you run the risk of getting front row seats to their GM blowing his top and yelling at waitstaff for all to see. Personally, I like my dining experiences to be with a little less drama. He recently tore into one of their better servers in front of customers(later firing her) which I think was uncalled for. If you have an issue with an employee take them somewhere a little more discreet and talk it out with them there. I’d been served by this girl multiple times and know for a fact she’d received praise from the corporate office for her excellent work the week before this incident so there’s no reason the GM should have acted the way he did. As much as I’ve enjoyed going to their locations over the years this guy makes me uncomfortable to the point that I don’t want to risk running into him at any of the stores. I’ve witnessed him give waitstaff a talking-to before, completely ignoring that I was sitting right there trying to enjoy my food and drinks. Awkward. On top of that, the corporate office doesn’t seem to care about this issue since they have yet to respond to my attempts to communicate with them. After all the time and money I’ve spent in their stores, I expect better than that.

Went here with some local friends who are regulars at BJs. I’d driven by it a hundred times and never gave it a second thought. Looks like a typical dive bar from the outside. Inside, though, was a pleasant surprise. Open and comfortable, acceptable noise level, clean, and friendly. Drinks were priced reasonably, and I believe there’s a Unilocal check in deal. We had a bunch of drinks, and I kinda dreaded the arrival of the bill, but I was again pleasantly surprised. Probably less than 1⁄5 of what it would have cost us across the street at any MGM bar. Good place to hang out for a little while and talk with friends.

Was here once years ago and never walked in because its sketchy as hell in the parking lot and it looks like a strip club… fast forward I thought my gps was taking me to BJ’s restaurant. Gave it a chance anyways… Super smokey, over priced, the service is, i guess weird would be the word. everyone is nice but they all seem to be under the watchful eyes of a what appears to be a binge drink supervisor/manager that sits at the bar… the food is okay but to expensive for what it is… And to top it all off you know something is wrong when that same supervisor dude hit the bartender in the head with a water bottle.

We were looking for a place to watch the Superbowl in Vegas and lucked into this gem. There was no cover charge and we had the best seat in the house. Service was excellent. Our waitress was Brittany and she was so on top of it. The food is very good too. Had the pizza and wing special, tasty and very inexpensive. Also had buckets of beer. Would definitely come again.

Upon arriving at BJ’s you might find yourself wondering… WTF!!! Hella scetchy looking little dive bar behind the MGM is how BJ’s looks on the outside but once inside, you forget all about that… Inside, you are greeted by some scantily clad yet equally friendly cocktail servers/bartenders… Actually, now that I think of it, I don’t recall ever seeing any male workers on the floor… We rented out their back room for a company party which comes complete with 2 pool tables, a juke box, dart board, video games, high top tables and a little lounge area. We sampled on sliders, chips & salsa and wings. When we ran out of food they refilled the food and at the end of the night when there was food left over they wrapped it up in togo boxes. We did not have to walk to the bar ourselves to redeem the drink tickets because the cocktail servers were always on hand to grab them for you. Service was top notch and we had a blast!!! There is even a liquor/cigar store that is connected to the lounge. HOTTIP: Ask for Trish if you plan on hosting an event at BJ’s~

Great place to pre/post a Thomas & Mack event. Only challenge is getting in the parking lot. Heading west on Trop-no problem, but reverse and oh boy-pack patience. Inside is very nice, bathrooms really clean. You can sit at the bar or go lounge style on the couches. Great Happy Hour prices for good($ 5 food specials) and $ 2 Hefe. Staff is pleasant-recommend you stop in.

I get to Vegas 3 times a year and had passed this location many times. Read up a bit about it and decided to give it a try a year or so ago. I like it so much that it’s a regular stop for me. Typically 3 times a trip and often around happy hour. As others have said it’s not much to look at from outside but nicely decorated and trendy looking inside and a lot more spacious than it looks. I like the pic of Big John(the founder) on the wall. Drink prices aren’t bad to begin with and much better during half price happy hour. Food here is really good quality. Prime rib special on Thursdays I believe, something like $ 6.99 for a huge cut of prime rib. They have some great weekly specials. Did the breakfast here one time, very tasty. As some have said they could probably have more TVs for the sports fanatics, they are somewhat scattered. I did enjoy watching the NFL opening Thursday night game here this year. As good as the food is the best part is the staff here. They are friendly, introduce themselves, and remember your name from visit to visit. Saw Trish briefly the one late night I was here this trip(on my way in from the airport). Met bartenders Brandy and Dominique for the 1st time as well as server Laura. Great, friendly service from them all.

My friend suggested we meet here and I immediately thought BJ Brewery. I was a little concerned when I pulled up as it looks small and a bit seedy from the outside, but I’m glad he suggested the place. For the most part it was pretty empty except for the obvious regulars. The bartenders were great, hilarious and very friendly. We didn’t even realize it but time flew by and we only had a few drinks and some food. The hot wings are pretty good, but they got the endorsement of a few true Buffalo Wings experts from Buffalo NY, so I ‘m thinking I will have to give them another try… just for that reason. I’ve been to the other BJ locations in town off 215 but felt this place has a much better atmosphere. I think we might have found a new hang out just off the strip.

I’d done a little sluething before going to Vegas. We rolled in here on a Thurs evening /Fri morning and was NOT disappointed. Oh wow was that dessert to die for. We got the cookie thing with ice cream. I remember searching for a place on Unilocal that was off the strip and«divy» while we didn’t really see anyone scantily clad in here like the reviews said, that was ok. I had quite the time here and loved the food we had. DH had the steak and I just had desssert and liquid dessert lol. Our staff was very friendly and wasn’t too expensive. We didn’t feel we were being ripped off or bent over. Our waitress was very personable. It’s a little off the strip… but definitely worth it!
