FX You Salon and Spa

So as I normally do I woke up one day and decided I hate my hair and need a change. I originally went to Facebook to ask some friends who they could recommend. I took one of them up and decided to come here to get a new hair style by Jessica.
Originally I went in wanting an ombré but after consulting with her for a bit we decided it wouldn’t be the best to do since it would kill the integrity of my hair. I love that she was honest with me and didn’t just decide to do exactly what I wanted knowing it would ruin my hair. She recommended I add some color to it and I loved the idea! She even blended a few dyes together to make it a custom color.
It was such a great experience and I love my new style! I will definitely be back to try some more colors and styles out.

Per their location hours, they open at 9am. I have tried calling multiple times to try and set up and appointment and the number just keeps ringing. Went online and booked an appt for 11am and then received a call stating that it’s not going to happen and I can come in at 2pm. When I respectfully declined letting her know that I would have to pick up my children at that time. She became even more rude and I will never give them my business!

Just had a full set of eyelash extensions by Ashli!!. They are awesome:) She is a perfectionist and as a result, I now have perfect eyelashes!.. If you are looking for a master level technique at a very reasonable price (deep discounts to first timers) do yourself a favor and go see this amazing lash artist. I have had lashes in the past and never have they looked so natural and full. Thank you Ashli for making me feel beautiful!..

I have been seeing Meghan for over a year now. She is amazing. She is great at helping me figure out what I want or making my ideas happen! My color and cut is always done well. She is very personable and fun to talk to. Go see her!

After trying out many different hairdressers at different salons I settled on Donna Klein. I have seen her three times and each time she makes my hair look great and feel soft and renewed. She does not hesitate when I ask for an unconventional/​punk-​ish cut, which is a problem I’ve run into with other hairdressers. She lets me chill out if I’m not feeling chatty that day too, which is also really appreciated. For a wash, cut, and style she charges me $ 50 (plus I add a tip) which is very reasonable for a great haircut.
Donna also cuts my husband’s hair every 4 weeks and does a great job. He has a scar on his scalp and other hairdressers don’t seem to know how to work with it, but Donna makes his hair look great while concealing the scar too.

I am extremely happy with my color, highlights, and haircut that I received today from Nikol Davis. She understood my hair type, as well as what I was looking for in a haircut. Not only did the color, cut, and highlights turn out great, but she was very nice. She now has me as a repeat customer.

I did a lot of research before going to this salon. I told the receptionist what I was looking for in a stylist and he set me up with Leeanne. Wow was she great. I loved the cut and color. she also told me about the massage packages and sold me a wonderful product to keep my hair looking its best. I recommend this salon and spa to everyone I know.

If I could give it less than one star I would. There is no skill in this place. You’d be better of a super cuts then here

Meghan was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job on my hair. I highly recommend her and the salon! She now has a client for life!

It’s hard when you move out of town when you’ve been with your hairdresser for so long to find a new hairdresser. Luckily I have family in Vegas and make frequent visits every couple of months so I’m lucky enough to make appointments with Christine when I am able to come down. I am never disappointed when I leave. She gives me the cut and color I want and need for the season and I leave Las Vegas again feeling refreshed!
Ladies if you’re looking for a hairstylist that will be with you over the years Christine is your gal! You’ll never be disappointed! And just to add icing on the cake, her eyebrow shaping skills are on point! Thanks Christine for another awesome cut!

I got a full body massage here and it was really good! My only complaint is at first the lady was trying to have a conversation with me but I think once she realized I didn’t really want to have much of a conversation while getting a massage she let me relax.
There were some sore areas that she did some deep tissue on but now I feel so much better knowing those giant knots are out my shoulders.
Would definitely recommend this place! Good price and really good service!

Returning to town and looking for a great salon. This one has the ‘looks’ however I should have paid attention to the lack of customer service. When I walked in to make the appointment. No one was up front for 10 minutes. When someone finally came around –not even a hello. The next person came around and asked –what.
After stating my information —
I made an appointment for a couple weeks later.
Appointment day came. Guess what –even though I had a card for two weeks prior with the appointment written down — my appointment was not listed in the book/​computer. I actually sat around for 15 minutes before I was told they could not find my appointment.
This salon needs to work on their customer service up front. Disorganization can ruin a business.
They lost out on a great faithful customer.

I was looking for a good waxer. I came to FX and it was not great. The lady used old sheets, she double dipped the wax. Never asked if it was too hot and she lifted my knee. The lady claimed to be in the industry for about 30 years but was still doing treatments like its still 1989. needs to learn about things in the industry that they do or use today. This place might be good for hair but I would not recommend coming here for esthetics. (Waxing. Eyelashes. Etc.)

This is a review for Christine, I was referred to her by my makeup artist for wedding day hair for myself and my mother and mother in law. I ended up scheduling a trial first and the first idea I had turned out to be a disaster and didn’t really work with the layers and my thin hair. We ended up going with a simpler style that looked really good. Christine was very patient and spent almost 2 hours with me to figure out what I wanted for the day of the wedding. Come the day of the wedding, she came to my house to do the hair. She ended up doing slightly tighter curls since my hair tends to fall flat after a few hours. The hair ended up looking amazing in the photos and I have her to thank! She also did both mothers, who have very short hair but she was able to give the hair some volume. She even charged less since their hair was short and didn’t require the full work of an up do. I would definitely recommend her as a bridal party hair stylist!

So this was my first hair cut since moving to Las Vegas and might I say I was extremely nervous but Erika Peterson made my experience amazing! She took the time to listen to what I wanted/​needed and she gave me some helpful tips. She is seriously one of the sweetest and down to earth person that I have met yet here in Vegas! I look forward to having her cut my hair and color it soon!

I am visiting my daughter in town and received a recommend to this spa for a massage. Rebecca is an incredible massage therapist!
She was great at asking about the pressure and attending to my areas that needed work. Plus she was polite, quiet and simply wonderful.
I will return when Im in town again and will treat my daughter o a massage with her too!

I just moved from Texas and was in a desperate search of a new salon to call home. I went on Unilocal as well as FX You’s Facebook page and saw amazing reviews about Tonia and saw pictures of her work on Hair by Tonia Cook Facebook page.
I made an appointment & had my appointment with her and she was the sweetest, most understanding hair stylist… and she actually listened!!! Definitely have found my go to stylist for cut & color in Las Vegas. I have even convinced my very picky husband to get his hair cut by her too.
I highly recommend Tonia!
As of 5÷7÷2015 I have followed her to her new salon at Rain Salon off of Decatur and 215.

I saw Sherry for my nails, I got a predicure from her. This was my first time getting a pedicure here. She asked if I had Diabetes, High Blood Pressure or Neuropothy? I was surprised since every place I had been before never asked that question. I also thought someone’s medical condition would be nobody’s business anyway. Either way I was surprised and told her no to all which was true but still not her business. She said she asks so she knows to be more careful if you have a condition. (Ok Doc). Anyway, let me sum it up quick for you and keep you from boredom.

Cons Very Slow (over 1 hour long), No leg massage (massages feet for about 30 seconds), Pain, Pain, Pain while digging (for what I don’t know), Scale of 1 – 10 pain, it was a 1000!
Conclusion will not be back to see her again
