G Aveda Salon & Spa

I will never walk into an AVEDA again. I went to the AVEDA Institute a few days ago. One of the students ruined my hair color and left a copper color right down the middle of my hair. I contacted the owner of both AVEDA salons, John, to remedy the problem. I was given a refund and promised by Stacy (front desk) and John (owner) I would be taken care of. I was quoted $ 20 off my cut, making my cut $ 40 and $ 25 off my color making that $ 45 for a partial highlight. There was no offer to fix what had been done at the Institute and I was prepared to pay for the new service. No problem. I wasn’t expecting free, but I was certainly expecting honesty and integrity.
I walked in today to have my appointment with Briana. She was a senior stylist yet her appearance and hair was extremely sloppy. This is supposed to be a high end salon in Summerlin. I was offered water and then told by Briana my service was going to be $ 115 for the very same thing the owner and front desk person had quoted as $ 85 total. After all, I was paying to fix the problem THEY had created in one of their salons. I am sorry, but I didn’t sign a waiver giving you license to ruin my hair color in the first place, but I was willing to pay what you had quoted me to fix the problem. Briana then disappeared to talk to the owner for 15 minutes, two times. The owner never spoke to me again after that and was not willing to honor the original price he quoted. I consider this a dishonest practice and a person who doesn’t have the integrity to uphold the name and brand of AVEDA.
This place is NOT to be trusted, nor is the owner, John.

I just wanted to thank Maria she did a beautiful job with my daughters hair, She is a true professional not only is she very good at her job but she is super sweet, she will go the extra mile to make sure your hair is on point, and she will do exactly what u want with out any bs, love love love her, you will not be disappointed, she did extention on one of my daughters and blue hair on my other one, am coming back to her for ever

I have been working for and going to Aveda salons for a while now and I was really impressed by this salon. Dawn did an awesome job with my haircut and I am very picky when it comes to haircuts, usually I get cuts I don’t like very much. She was very personable. Also the shampoo bowls had massage chairs which was amazing!

Senior Stylist Amy cut my hair and LISTENS to what you want. Unfortunately, this is rare in the hair industry. I have a very specific style that I have to retain for work purposes and she was respectful and conservative in her cut, so that we had the space to «go further» if necessary. A great woman with an interesting and traveled history, but not an imposition to listen to or have a conversation with. Great experience overall at G Salon. Not overly-​attentive and not ignorant of customer service. A great balance on this visit.

Jennifer did my hair for my 10 year wedding anniversary on Oct 18^th. They were very accommodating and squeezed me in at the end of the evening for a total hair makeover! Jennifer creates hair miracles! She cut off like 6 inches and I went from a mid length, roots grown out, mess… to a hot blonde bob! While I was getting my hair done the esthetician Katrina gave my mom, who was patiently waiting for me, a free facial just because. I recommend G Aveda Hair Salon and Spa to anyone who wants to look and feel beautiful!

I have been coming to this salon for the stylist Bre. She is by far one of the most talented hair stylists and hair magician I have ever worked with. I had a dark red ombré that needed refreshing/​fixing a few months back and she did phenomenal! I won’t go to anyone else. She is quick to work and very professional. She is very meticulous in getting your cut and colour perfect to your liking. I highly recommend!

Jennifer is the best! I’ve always loved The products. She is very honest and does any amazing color!

All great things to be said for G Aveda Salon.
The service is prompt, the cut is precise (Jennifer), there are massage chairs, and parking is only steps away. In addition they stay open late, until 9pm.
For those selective individuals that only accept the best of the best (myself included), they hire master stylists, ‘senior stylists’, with significant experience.
This is the only Aveda standalone salon in Vegas at this time. You’re looking at a 5 star establishment.

I went to Christina for a hair cut, color and she was awesome! I would highly recommend going to her. Best hair cut and color I have had in a long time. Also this salon has exceptional customer service. I was highly impressed and will be back!

Customer Service is outstanding. The ladies are all attractive. Great selection when hiring them.
