They hold my loan and now have a third party handling payments which I think may be doing something illegal. They aren’t allowing me to make principal payments without me calling and complaining to have it applied. This has been going on for over a year. Yesterday I was told, If I want a payment applied to principal to pay it online otherwise they aren’t responsible for where it goes. REALLY! A person should be able to mail a check with Principal Payment written on it, a sticky note attached, and a payment form all indicating principal payment and not have to call to have it applied. Something is wrong because I pay an extra 1000 a month and still my principal doesn’t go down 1000? Anyone want to explain that to me???
