Timbers on Durango serves good bar grub and drinks to quench your thirst. This location receives a fair share of two and one star ratings from Unilocaler. In my opinion, the Onion Rings rate FIVE stars. Overall for food, service and atmosphere (think beer, pool & darts joint), this Timbers location warrants a solid THREE star rating — A-​OK.

You get a full basket of thick succulent rings that are perfectly breaded & seasoned. Their ORs are truly a bite of sweet onion goodness. Add a little hot sauce (Cholula for me) or your favorite dip. Crunchy, delicious and satisfying. The basket will easily subdue two very hungry appetites for starters.
The food is good bar grub. Nothing fancy! Expect real bar food without the frills & obnoxious presentation. I had the grilled fish tilapia tacos. Fresh tasting filet and Pico de Gallo. I go light on the white Baja sauce so not to overpower the other flavors.
No rants regarding service here. My servers have always been pleasant, even when tables and barstools are full.
Whenever I’m thirsty for a cold beer and long for my favorite Onion Rings, I’ll most likely be at Timbers.

This particular timbers deserves no stars… I ordered food for delivery and not only did I wait for 3 hours to get my food but it was ice cold and the not the way I ordered it and some of it they didn’t put in the bag I called the restaurant and the three people were no help at all they just kept blaming grubhub to which I’ve ordered through grubhub many many times and never had a problem the manager didn’t take responsibility for anything he just kept blaming grubhub so long story short don’t get delivery from timbers matter of fact don’t patronize them at all until they learn how to read a computer screen and take responsibility for their actions and wrong doings I know I’m totally done doing business with them they went as far to blame the delivery driver and it was so not her fault

My roommate and I were so heated over how much this bar just sucked ass that I got on my phone and opened my Unilocal account for the first time in a long time to write this review.
My roommate and I both stopped in here to get a bite to eat. We arrived around 2:45am and sat at the bar. The bartender Richard was busy pouring beers for a group (assuming a birthday was going on cause I kept hearing «OMG happy birthday!» Countless times over at the group) so he didn’t greet us for 5 – 10 mins until he was at his POS machine and looked up saying «I’ll be right with you guys». Meanwhile my roommate decided to go ahead and play some blackjack. He’s a pretty big gambler so I knew it was gonna be a lot.
2 mins later he walked up asked us what we would like to drink and my roommate just wanted a water and a classic burger that was $ 4.50 and I got a Monster energy that was probably $ 3.50−4 and a beef Philly that was $ 9.50. Food arrived about 15 – 20 mins later and my Philly was extremely dry not even the mayo I asked for in it could help it. The fries were good and my roommate said his burger was good. After we were done eating our food my roommate was gambling to whole time and already put in $ 250+ in the machine needless to say he was also getting upset because the machine was just not busting. The bartender came up and gave us our bill to our surprise and on it was my philly and my roommates $ 4.50 burger.
My roommate got heated. In all of our years going to bars we have never had a bartender give us a ticket for a $ 5 item after we gambled hundreds of dollars.
Most places don’t charge us a cent because of the amount he gambles or whenever I gamble as well.
You just don’t do that it’s insulting to the guest especially when he lost his ass off.
My roommate then asked the bartender if they didn’t comp food and the bartender then took the ticket back and changed it real quick to just my philly on it. I was okay paying for that because I didn’t gamble at all but the ONLY reason why I tipped him was because he took my monster off.
Maybe it’s because we didn’t order alcohol and he assumed we wouldn’t know any better and just thought that we thought only drinks could be comped when you gamble.
Well that was a BAD move on his part because what he didn’t know was both my roommate and I are seasoned gambling bartenders with years of experience and if he would of just comped our whole bill he would of had an easy $ 20 tip headed his way instead of the $ 3 I gave him. Even better we would of came back.
But now because of this horrible service we won’t be coming back. We will take our money elsewhere. Better to use some Comps and explain to a manager then to explain to a guest and lose that guest. Especially gamblers!
The only reason why I would consider coming back and giving this place 2 stars instead of the 1 star it does deserve because of our night was because I happened to stop in here the other morning with my other roommate for some breakfast and a beer and the morning bartender Jamie was awesome! Fun to talk to, comped my beer and food and made sure we were happy the entire time. If I do come back it will be when she works.

I probably go here 2 – 3 times a week, and I find I always get good service, even when they’re crazy busy, it’s still fast, friendly service. The drinks are strong, the food is good, especially the Killer Grilled Cheese, The weekend morning crew is good as well as the swing shift crew. I never had bad service or food/​drink at this Timbers.

Yikes. I have been to other Timbers and the experience was not the same.
First, my husband and I got the 2 for 1 drink special-​he got beer and I got the margarita because they were out of cider. They brought both drinks out at once which I thought was weird so we were chugging to try not to let the other one get warm.
Second, the margarita was nasty. Had the weirdest taste.
Third, my husband got the chili with texas toast. The chili was fine, but the toast was SO SALTY. It was inedible. Nearly everything we had was so salty we could hardly eat it. I got the buffalo chicken wrap which was decent, but the fries were over salted also.
We will not be returning unless to have solely beer that is not on the happy hour so we can get one at a time.

God this place sucks seriously go anywhere else and don’t order a Bloody Mary unless you’re looking for a cold glass of tomato paste

I heard they had great burgers so I had to stop in and form my own opinion. As well as share it on Unilocal.What makes a great budget is the total of all components combined perfected and fulfill ones hunger need while satisfying taste buds.
I ordered the classic cheeseburger medium with fries. Upon delivery the burger came out to a perfect medium as requested. The patty was a thick ½ pounder hand formed with some tools I’m sure. Very juicy but lacked seasoning. No problem I can just add my own. Topped wirh lettuce tomato and onion, my Burger was delivered quickly and with a large portion of fries, a pound at least. I could see that my hunger pains would subside after this meal because I never let anything go to waste.
My one issue with this burger was the bun. It was so squishy and soft it could not hold up to this big old burger. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it. This is just area I would improve on. The pickle and Italian peppers on the side were a nice addition and both were crispy and fresh.
Service from Rich was attentive and courteous. So much so that I will most likely be back to explore more of the menu. I really enjoyed the reasonably priced Sierra Nevada beers and looking at the marketing materials posted throughout the location the prices get better between 4 – 7 for happy hour.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because Jaime the bartender is amazing! My friends & I came here for St. Patrick’s Day & we had HORRIBLE service from Lucia. We got here at 8:20 pm & left at 11:15 & had 3 drinks while we were here because she took so long. Also got one of our orders wrong & even said «sorry I took so long I was doing my side work» just so she could clock out of work. The «manager» Jason didn’t even do anything about it. Anyways, it was an all around upset.

Nothing good to say about the place. The bartenders sucked and the food was very mediocre. Should have went to The Lodge down the road instead.

Went in a few months ago. Ordered the Timbers Burger and found 4 long blond hairs in it! District Manager apologized and gave me his card with 2 free dinners. Why would I come back to eat here? Will NEVER go back.

This the most shittiest Timbers I have been too. If you are not a regular you will not get any service.

Don’t get the nachos here they are dry and the condiments are sparing so it’s literally like eating chips and nothing else also the tacos are huge and gross don’t bother with them either. Wait staff is always really nice here and all the bartenders are really attentive to you whether you are playing video poker or not. I will reccomened the farm burger with fries it’s a decent sized burger and the portion of fries you get is just right another plus is that they actually cook it to order not just pretend to by asking how you would like it cooked as some other restaurants do. There are two pool table here and most of the time they are open also some casual seating in the front for a more relaxed stay than at the bar or bar tables.

Very bad service 1−29−16 ! Waitress got our order all screwed up. Delivered our apptizzer but no utensils or plates. Took our order back because we ordered a Bacon cheeseburger and there was no Bacon. They brought back the the Burger to find out it wasn’t a fresh one. They just added Bacon to it which was not really cooked fully. The Burger was cold already and they didn’t even change the paper on the plastic tray. Our old Ketchup was still there and didn’t look presentable. I asked for a Manager and they sent one our way and explained this whole misery. I told him that we are done and won’t be back. At least he said he’ll take care of it. My opinion I give 0 STARS. Besides the point I felt the bad vibe in there cuz we were minority’s. REAL TALK !!! Besides it all change after they converted this bar from a 49ers bar to Steelers bar

Ariana was very sweet and attentive. My usual turkey burger with no cheese was amazing and onion rings great! Country music playing (very cool). Cozy feeling, good food

Great mozzarella sticks, good western sliders. The nachos we very sad. Had to send the back. The server was ok. I like the atmosphere in there. Totally laid back. I will give this a 75%.

Good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and I enjoy coming by every now and then for a drink or breakfast menu.

We arrived at 2:55 am after a very long night. We just wanted some breakfast. We ordered a water and an iced tea to drink, because it was 3am and we just wanted some food. The server was visibly irritated that we weren’t ordering alcohol and apparently assumed we wouldn’t tip. Bad guess since my gf and I both work in the industry. I always tip menu prices at happy hours.
She brought our menus and did not return to take our order for 15 – 20 minutes. We ordered and didn’t get our food for another half hour. Fifteen minutes earlier the waitress told us our food was «almost done.»
When the food arrived it was cold. So the food was done when we were told it was almost done. The place was nearly empty and no one is that incompetent. She purposefully sandbagged our order for over an hour to punish us for not drinking at 3am
We didn’t get out until 4:15

I honestly never post about things, but felt it necessary on this. I have been to this and other timbers about 100 times and this is by far the worst of them all. The service is horrendous. 80% of the time, something is wrong with the meal and to make matters worse, the waitresses hardly ever come around. This place is never busy and no reason for such awful service. You would think that prior to your meal coming out, the waitress would check to make sure it’s what you asked for, but instead they drop it off and don’t come back for 15 min. Absolutely ridiculous.

Only reason I’m giving it a 1star is because after work yesterday I went to find some local spots to have a beer in my neighborhood. It was around 230 and the front doors were locked. But it says its open ²⁴⁄₇???

Overpriced! 4 drinks and a side of fries came out to be around $ 70! So Beware! Also, we had to scream for our bartender 5 times before she stopped talking to her friend to come check us out.
The setup is great though. Seems like a friendly atmosphere. Wouldn’t spend the money here again.
