This was my first pool party and I had a great time! It was definitely expensive though, but hey it’s Vegas. On the day we went, me and my girlfriends didn’t have to pay an entrance fee and the guys in our group bought their tickets online and saved a ton of money that way. It didn’t matter that much though that we didn’t have to pay an entrance fee because the drinks are so wildly overpriced, so be prepared for that. There is a really big pool that you can bring your drinks in to. You can dance, sip on your drinks, and have a great time! Fair warning though, the pool is warm, like really warm. And we were there in April when the temperature was perfect. I can’t imagine how hot the pool must get during the summer. It is worth going to if you are looking to go to an awesome pool party.

Huge pool and the crowd here is crazy AF Bouncers only let ladies dance near the dj booth, so y’all can get up close and personal, plus champagne showers X 3 and krewella was there, totally awesome! The crowd is diverse and wild, I had a great time! If you seek shade then there’s always dancing room by the bar I love it, second only to encore beach in my opinion due to no free drinks or showers available

Wet Republic is one of the larger day clubs I’ve been to in Vegas. It definitely gets packed so your best bet is to get pre-sale tickets especially during the peak Summer months if you’re group is not going to get bottle service. We pre-saled it for a Friday in July and it was a breeze. All the staff we encountered from the security getting in to the bartenders and cocktail servers were all good sports. I’m sure it’s easy to be over it as people go too crazy sometimes but all I saw was good vibes from the staff. Kind of suprising really. But it was a good surprise. It was Hot 100 weekend so it was pretty packed and happening the Friday we were there. We were celebrating a bachelor party for a good friend of mine and none of us had partied at Wet Republic before. Everyone had a great time. The layout of the club is nice and spread out. No one is shoulder to shoulder really in a big group like other day clubs can get. I like how the main bar is shaded. That’s huge if you aren’t gettting bottle service as there really isn’t a lot of shade under that Vegas Summer sun. Music was good. Crowd was good. It made for a good time. Just a warning with security up front. They’re good dudes but they do not let you bring anything that is not essential. I had a pack of gum and 1 airborne tablet(honest). Neither was getting through. There’s a basket at the table where they search you and its full of gum, mints, etc. So nothing but your wallet and phone are getting through security. FYI.

it’s absolutely not my type of place: shadow-less pool over crowded with wanna be hype people without class… who love showing up there. BUT this place is a must see/do when you go to Vegas(and that you are a tourist, like me). 40 $ for a margarita(pint) is way over priced but it will do the job: you’ll get drunk and burnt under the sun! Free entrance before 2pm. 35 $ afterwards. Be a guest of MGM and request a free ticket in the morning at the pool main entrance. Very good DJ/music.

The Wet Republic that I visited earlier this month wasn’t at all like the Wet Republic that gets so heavily advertised on Instagram, Facebook, etc. In spite of how polished and sexy the place is made out to be on social media, you’ll quickly find that the actual Wet is claustrophobic, overpacked, and kinda grimy overall. We paid a visit earlier this month, coming on a day when Hardwell was scheduled to man the decks: ______________________________ — Wet Republic clearly wasn’t originally designed to be an adults-only dayclub(as made evident by the signs that warn about watching over children while they’re in the pool!!). It definitely did not seem as though the place was designed with grown-up partying in mind; in fact, the venue as a whole looked like a typical resort pool area, repurposed as an easy cash grab. — For a place that get so jam-packed full of people, I can’t begin to understand why some of the walkways at this dayclub are skinny enough to create multiple bottlenecks. It’s difficult to get from one side of the space to another without weaving and contorting your way through tons of foot traffic. And while we’re on the subject of potential dangers, there are some serious slip hazards to be wary of while at Wet. Some of the walkways near the dancefloor feature plenty of running water(for no logical reason whatsoever); unfortunately, this makes it hard to keep your footing as you navigate your way around — especially if you’re plastered! (Slippery surfaces + plastered drunk partygoers = Well, you can imagine the results.) _______________________________ — The acoustics of the space aren’t the best, either. While this is pretty much a given being that we’re talking about an outdoor venue, I felt as though the sound system could’ve been cranked up a couple notches — after all, what’s house music without a kick? — As far as Hardwell himself, the man didn’t look to be having much fun. Having seen the damage that the World’s #1DJ can do on more than one occasion(including two sets in seven days during Coachella 2013!), I was surprised to see how un-hyped he was to be playing a primetime day party set. He dropped plenty of big room and electro house bangers, but never really showed that trademark enthusiasm or energy that he brings to his festival sets. _______________________________ — Brace yourself if you’re trying to buy a drink at the general admission bars — which are less of a system of lines and more of a chaotic free-for-all. It also doesn’t help that the lines themselves tend to move at a snail’s pace, largely because the bartenders just can’t keep up with an onslaught of thirsty booze-crazed zombies. You’d also best come ready to drop some cash, regardless of whether you’ve got bottle service or not. A piña colada — served in a large Wet Republic commemorative cup — came out to $ 41. As pricey as it may be, the colada turned out to be tasty and refreshing on a hot summer Vegas day; that much I cannot deny. These setbacks aside, it wasn’t all bad news at Wet Republic… _____________________________ — On the day that we visited, the crowd was an absolute blast to party with. Special recognition goes out to the hammered bro who insisted that I spend less time taking pictures of Hardwell and more time dancing with my girlfriend, along with the girl whom I handed my phone off to(so as to get incredible shots of Hardwell from a cabana directly adjacent to his booth!). — Of course, no outing in Vegas would be complete without a «There’s No Way That Happened» Moment, so here was ours: Towards the end of Hardwell’s performance, we noticed that papers of sort had begun raining on the dancefloor. At first, I assumed that these objects were pieces of confetti and/or flyers for some upcoming show — but closer examination, I realized that we were standing amid a downpour of CASHMONEY. Some generous soul(bless their heart!) wanted to show drunkenly show just how much moolah he/she was packing, and I wasn’t one to ponder as to why this person had chosen to do so. All in all, we ended up leaving Wet with a hefty wad of that totaled at over $ 500 in cash… only in Vegas, I guess! This story alone warrants an extra star. _____________________________ It’s a shame that Wet Republic has so many top-tier DJs(Calvin Harris, Steve Angello, Martin Garrix… the list goes on and on) signed to exclusive contracts; I can think of other Vegas daylife venues(Drai’s, Marquee) that would make much better use of such A-grade talent. I’d also recommend trying these other dayclub options out — as they all show just how lackluster of a product Wet truly is.

Wet republic night swim was sooooo fun!!! It wasn’t too crowded and the music and set up is so great. The only downside is that you pretty much need a table or be in the pool to have fun. The drinks are so stupid expensive but that’s how it is literally at any club. A 6pack of beer cans was 60 $ and averaging out one shot 15 $ a pop. OUCH. The bouncers/cabana boys there are also super rude. We were kicked out of our day bed and drying off from the cabana pool so I went to sit down in a table that wasn’t sold… And wasn’t GOINGTOBE sold since the club was basically closing. This douche bag had the nerve and be like sweetie you can’t sit there… Wtf. There is also a lot of narcs sitting there looking and trying to be inconspicuous hahhahahahhahaha… but anyway the pool was super warm and the energy was great, we will just have to keep our table or day bed all night next time!
