Excellent pizza. Fun, hip atmosphere. I usually don’t like olives, but I love them on the pizza here. Friendly staff, appear to be good students. If your late night studying has got you Jonesing for some pie, give them a call.

horrible… Do not go there… the environment is bad… it has a weird smell, which hurts my eyes. I would say pizza hut pizza is much better!

Darn good pizza. Wings are even better. I suggest getting an order of both next time you visit! You will not be disappointed! They sell pizza by the slice, and it is DELICIOUS! Cheese and crust are some of the best I’ve had. I was also impressed with the customer service. I like to go here to get a quick bite on the weekends, and typically a game will be on, and the staff is more than happy to change the channel for you on one of their several, big screen TVs. They also sell sodas by the can, have some arcade games for the kids, and an ATM. What else would you want out of a small-town pizza joint?

Delicious pep, extra cheese and cream cheese pizza. Bonez. Awful. Pale, undercooked and just not good. See pics. I bet if they were cooked properly they would be yummy.

For ~$ 7 you can get two slices and a drink, perfect meal. I feel like their pizza has a slightly New York-ish taste, and the crust is a little thick on the edges, but is pretty tasty. I would recommend dipping in ranch, though they have honey, which is interesting. Last time I went the guy serving me checked in back to see if any other pizzas were on their way out, which I thought was nice. Open late for the bar crowd.

We recently moved to Lawrence and I love pizza so I’ve tried most of the places. This is one of my two favorites so I’ve been back several times. I can’t pick a favorite between Pyramid and Wheat State because they are so different. I like how the Pyramid crust is so thin but then has the big braided, doughy edge. I love all the meats and none of the vegetables that go with pizza so I order the Meat Head. The Bonz are also delicious.

My Wife and I went here for the first time. Nowadays, it’s hard to find a pizza place that has Canadian Bacon available topping for a pizza. We were waited on promptly at the cash register, order was taken. Only thing is that I asked what the small size was comparable to, cashier said that it’s about the size of a personal pan. I would say we would have been able to share one small pizza. Also, I judge pizza also based on if you can pull it out of the refrigerator and it tastes good. Well, this pizza passed the test. I would not recommend this place for the atmosphere, but for the pizza, it’s very good.

My family and I tried pyramid pizza for the first time last week… Yeah so I’m not sure whether the staff were collectively hung over or just really hate having jobs. We walk in at noon on a weekday to a completely empty establishment, save for a very melancholy young man stooped over the counter who was less than excited to receive our patronage as he was very busy on his cell phone, either battle texting his girlfriend or attempting to get three stars on the last level of candy crush. We decide to try the lunch buffet, which I mistakenly referred to as a «pizza bar» and was promptly corrected by the young man. If you woulda seen my face when he said in an annoyed and possibly offended tone ‚“do you mean the buffet … My bf gave me the«please don’t piss off the waitstaff so they don’t spit in our food» look, so my response was a simple, uh yeah? I check out the bar buffet and there is maybe 7 total slices on it. I asked the employee if there would be more and that must have troubled him as he seemed again annoyed with me to have to shout to the kitchen to make more pizza. Our party of four get some slices, and they weren’t terrible. But soon several more groups came in and they were all crammed by the buffet bar waiting for actual pizza to be put out. A guy came out of the kitchen to replenish the supply and he also seemed quite aggravated as he threw the pizza pan with such force, all of the toppings slid off. Half the pizza was just sauce the other half looked like it had been assaulted. So yeah. Working sucks. I know bc I gotta do it myself so I can make purchases, like mediocre pizza served with a side of «f%#k off. But dang… don’t drop out of college and be a towny then. Or dump that chick.

Honestly amazing pizza. I missed having this in emporia ks and was excited this place went in. I get the bones and cheese pizza to go almost any chance I get. Good friendly service too which is hard to find in a college town!

Incredibly great location, good by-the-slice and meal prices, mediocre by-the-slice or whole-pie pizzas. Adding honey to this fairly generic pizza makes it a fan favorite. It reminds me of Joe’s Pizza in Westport. Which, again, is fairly generic as far as pizza goes. But the real benefits are when you order Bones, or buy by the slice and eat a cheap slice on the go!

If you’re looking for a late night snack, then pyramid Pizza would be the place to check out. Its a smaller place, usually frequented by the college kids who stumble in late night after being kicked out of the bars after last call. The pizza, not amazing, but nothing to snub your nose at either. It has the right amount of grease, not too much to make you feel bad about yourself, but just enough to still feel like you’re getting some good junk food. Pyramid offers by it by the slice deals, and if you’re really hungry you can get yourself a whole pizza. The price isnt too bad. The last couple times I have been in i have had to wait a considerable amount of time as they seemed to have ran out of pepperoni, i’m not sure how thats possible to be honest. The building is a bit on the older side, and they definitely arent trying to impress anyone with the décor. I can say without a doubt this is the best place to stop in with you college buddies after a night of drinking on mass.

Do you have different pizza«moods»? I have different pizza moods. I eat here when I want gooey, cheesy pieces of heaven. I go somewhere else when my cravings are more refined. The wings are actually pretty good, although I think they’re just frozen ones from Sysco. This stuff is cheap and tasty. I really have no complaints.

Legit for the price. They cook it better here than Emporia did. Buffet at lunch time. I’m a Keno’s man, but I go here when I don’t want to spend and or wait as much.

The one thing this place has going is the price. We got a very good sized pizza with all the toppings for $ 13. The equivalent elsewhere would have been close to $ 20. However, the pizza was just ok. It’s not something I would go back for.

I have decided that Pyramid deserves 5 stars. They are my go-to for pizza in this town. They are DEFINITELY the best pizza for the price. The $ 113-topping large pizza(online special, be sure to mention it!) is the best deal around. Definitely get cream cheese. Once you have pizza with cream cheese, you’ll never want anything else! And save room for the garlicky crust! I usually get delivery(unless I’m stopping in for a late night slice after tossing back a few at Harbour) and they’re pretty fast. They usually quote 45 minutes but it rarely takes more than 25. Thanks, Pyramid!

Pyramid pizza is so good. I’ve only ever had the buffet on Sundays but it’s tasty. The sauce is unique. Tangy and sweet. The crust is crispy light and fresh tasting. The toppings are fresh and there is very little grease. The seating is comfortable if not a bit dated. There are five big tv’s on the walls for news and games but sadly most of them are older and beginning to wear out. This is a great place to watch the KU or chiefs games on Sundays. It’s clean and affordable. I would definitely come back here. It’s a good representation of mass street and Lawrence.

Pyramid PIzza’s practically defunct pizza buffet is saved only by the fat, soft, slightly sweet crust that is absolutely amazing… if treated as breadsticks and not as pizza. …because the rest of the pizza haphazardly sloughed around on the buffet table is caked with dry chicken, congealed cheese and crackly sauce.

I stopped in here with a group of high school kids on the way to Topeka. We had the lunch buffet for $ 5.99. Gosh, the only thing I can think of that is better than Pyramid pizza is Waldo pizza, but this is a close, close second and very different. Pyramid has thin crust but big, croissant-like gooey fresh-bread buttery crust that is just divine! I will usually leave crust when eating pizza buffet, but there was nary a sign that I had eaten six slices when all was said and done. One thing that gives it half a star more is that when one of my kiddos didn’t pay and wasn’t eating, the manager said she could go ahead and have some slices. This was very kind, as he possibly thought she didn’t have money, and he didn’t want her to be hungry? Actually, she had eaten earlier, but it was nice of him. What brings it down half a star was a lack of creativity on the buffet pizzas. Maybe it is better not so close to 2 pm. If you love good pizza and want to experience a Lawrence tradition, choose Pyramid :).
