Ace Ranch Mart Hardware

The score I'd like to give does not go that low. In perspective, my family has been going to this hardware store since they were at Ranchmart North, just down from Ben Franklin dime store and Baskin Robbins. IMO, this Store needs to close; they never have anything. I get the same crap everytime - "We just get it from the Manufacturer". That is BULLSHIT...why is it that every other hardware store in town seems to have these products but not Ranchmart!! I think the old lady that owns the Store should move on.....Honey, your days on this Planet are numbered; do us all a favor, give it up and close your Business. Clearly, the present Manager (Ahvi I think that is his name) has his head up his ass also. I don't like being lied to about them saying we have problems getting it from the Manufacturer when other Stores have the item no problem. Ahvi has even gone as far as telling me I won't find the product anywhere in town (i.e., Benzomatic propane torch). Ranchmart......pull your head out of your ass and become a useful Store vendor and stop whinning that its the Manufacturer that is the problem. Pubic: SAVE YOURSELF GREIF AND TROUBLE AND GO ELSEWHERE TO PICKUP YOUR PRODUCTS AS I WILL BET YOU RANCHMART DOESNT HAVE WHAT YOU NEED!!!!!!! I KNOW I'M GOING ELSEWHERE!!

No… it isn’t a bib box store… but you can still get lost in here.
They seemingly have everything on God’s green earth. And, get this… they even have a dazzling array of kitchen items.
Add all of that to a helpful staff that knows where to find these said items and you have a five star hardware (and kitchen gadget) paradise.

It sells some of the Nordicware line. I didn’t visit this store for cooking supplies, or pans, not by any means. I had a $ 10 off of $ 20, and needed a surge protector and batteries. I feel I am a trooper for sticking to my original plan.
I was surprised by the aisles of cooking supplies. It is huge. I had an issue whether to buy a pan I needed or go with my original and mundane plan. There are utensils, and pans, specialty mixes and sauces. Square plates, round plates thick, washable paper plates, ceramic plates, plastic plates, heart shaped plates. saucers, cups, measuring cups and spoons, cupcake pans and cookbooks… see what I mean?
I visited it for a needed surge protector. I immediately found a salesman, who took me to the surge protectors. He proceeded to knowledge me about surge protectors, then said «We have the biggest flashlight collection in town.» I decided on 2 surge protectors, and thought…“I need a flashlight… nope, not here for that.“
I knew where the batteries were, and I went to check out. I’m not sure he did the coupon right, but whatever, I got $ 10 off of $ 20, and found a cool hardware store with alot of cooking supplies. Proudly left the store with batteries, and 2 surge protectors, no pans.

There is something for everyone in this hardware store that sells more than just hardware. If you’re looking for shelf paper, lawn furniture, potting soil, kitchen equipment, house paint or barbecue grills, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and (for those of you with small children) there is an accessible restroom in the back of the store. The prices are competitive, but many of the items here can be purchased at cheaper costs from specialty stores; what you’re paying for is convenience, and it’s not a huge stretch to say that this one-​stop-​shopping locale is worth a few bucks extra to the cost of a butter dish (just an example, $ 22 Fiesta-​ware butter dish at Pryde’s in Old Westport versus $ 30 for the same Fiesta-​ware piece at Ranchmart Ace Hardware).

We love our local hardware store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Support your local business!

Ranchmart Ace Hardware is a run of the mill hardware store, with exceptional employees and outstanding service. I went in to get a key cut for my apartment and I was helped right away. The staff there is friendly accommodating and knowledgeable.
