I love Del Taco. Unfortunately this location rarely makes my order correctly. They often forget items or do not make an item correctly. Recently I ordered nachos and the chips had been fried in either bad oil or oil that had fish fried in it. It made the chips taste awful and the nachos inedible. The inside of the restaurant is usually clean however the play area really needs to be cleaned. It smells and looks awful. I will not even let my son walk in there. If you are craving Del Taco make the drive to MIssion Valley, at least you will get what you ordered. If you do come to this location make sure you check your bag for every item as they will most likely forget something.

I come here about once a week, and only 10% is my order ever right! I order a quesadilla with EXTRA green sauce! Not that hard right? Well it is because they ALWAYSPUTNOGREENSAUCE! I do not understand! I don’t have time to go back to your location and I shouldn’t have to open my food in the car to make sure you get it right! Once or twice understandable, but over 10 times getting the same order wrong even when I make sure they understand is just ridiculous!!!

Workers are slow even with a full drive thru! The line was so bad we went inside. They were in no rush to make any food. The bean and cheese burritos were bad. Old beans and no sauce.

I would give location ZERO if I could. Not sure if the people working there care if they have a job or not. Customer Service is lacking. Kids play area has food chunks throughout. They serve ice cold coffee that should be hot. You can wait at the counter for five minutes without someone assisting you. More of a hangout for employees than a place of business for patrons.

Shout out to Denise for her customer service and composure when the drive thru got crazy! They didn’t input my order in the system but she handled it with tact and was really friendly and efficient. Thank you so much

worst Del taco experience since the 1980’s. they had 6 people behind the counter, 5 cars in the drive through and 1 customer in front of us inside. the tea was not fresh brewed but instant, and was told by Justice that it just didn’t have sugar… their soda machine’s water filter has not been changed in forever and the rootbeer made me sick for the rest of the day. then our order took 12 minutes, 2 normal combo meals. my macho chicken burrito had ZERO chicken in it, i brought it back and 15 minutes later, when i went to ask where my food was, i found my burrito off to the side of the cashier. there were chicken crumbles in it this time… and to think fast food workers want $ 10+ an hour. NOTATTHISSTORE!

Dirty inside uncalled for shouldn’t have CIG butts in the inside play areas. And was very unsanitary. And got a TV why don’t it got a movie running. But was unplugged

Thank you for being open on Christmas! I really needed to eat something because I was feeling sick due to pain medication I needed to take for broken ribs. I was so thankful that I could eat a delicious chicken chipotle ranch! The lady at the drive through was also very sweet and asked us how our Christmas was. I already love Del Taco because of the one by my house, but this is a great location. Del Taco is awesome!

Went to get some strawberry lemonade but the strawberrys were frozen. The lady in front of me was looking for the same thing and got kind of rude when he told her so. Kinda felt bad for the nice cashier. Ended up going somewhere else cause no lemonade.

Strawberries were frozen so no strawberry lemonade!!! What the heck is up with that?! Coffee sucks too. But cashier was cool I guess so I gave them two stars instead of one.

I mean i know its only fast food and you cant except 5 star serve but can I at least get 3& a half stars. With that being said the service wasnt good, as the drive-thur operator repeats my order back to me it totally wrong, I dont know maybe they need a better speaker system. Food: Macho Nacho — Which was pretty but on the other hand how can you mess up nachos? Chipotle Chicken Burrito Combo — Was very tasty Habanero Fish Taco — Sauce was fire, taco on the other hand tasted old. And as you might notice i said Chipotle Chicken Burrito«COMBO», tell me why they forgot my fries smh«WHATTHEHECK» angry face

I have not eaten at Del Taco in years since the .39 cent taco. I ordered the #15 special today which came with a soft drink, 2 burrito’s and chili cheese fries. I would have to say the food wasn’t terrible. I am not sure what I was expecting. But I really enjoyed it for the most part. I would say it would be nice to have more filling in the burritos. Not bad for a quick bite of food for about $ 6.00 and their sauce is still the bomb!

Taco Hell has a new rival — Hell Taco. Avoid these like the plague. They are basically Taco Bell Mark II, and they’re no better. It’s been quite awhile since I visited this location so it might be better now, but when I was here before it was hard, dry taco shells, generic, celery-tasting ground beef, and weak, ketchupy salsa. Ew. Thanks a lot to my «friends» in San Diego for forcing me at gun point to frequent this establishment once, the day before my most recent San Diego concert which was by the way amazing! Great crowd! Yay! This isn’t Mexican food. As long as you know that, it’s no big deal if you like it. But it makes me sad that a lot of kids love coming here. I came here only once. I should mention, I only rate national and global chains on a scale of 1 – 2. I rate family businesses on a scale of 3 – 5. Here is why: Would you rather support the local family, or the multi national corporations and the rich men on yachts in the Carribbean? Why are the parking lots of the awesome local places usually half empty(or completely empty)? Why are the so-called Mexican chains always so busy? Why can they afford to open so late and get all the TV advertising and all the prime intersection locations? Why are they taking over all the airports, stations, and rest stops? Why go and support Taco Bell, Del Taco, Baja Fresh, Chipotle, and so on? These places have systematically and coldly taken over the Mexican food scene by using the cheapest ingredients, pre-packaged frozen systematic Americanized knock-offs that are identical across the nation, ridiculously cheap prices for the polystyrene food on dollar menus, overpricing for everything else, rude underpaid servers on way less than minimum wage, and a ridiculously expensive mass brand advertising campaign that gets inside the heads of all the kids and the 20somethings and keeps them under the illusion that if it’s not a brand name, it’s not worth visiting. They spend all the money they should be investing in food and service, in advertising and cornering the market — the local places can’t compete — and someday all we will be left with is the same chains serving the same food all over the world. That is our future. It’s the way we’re heading and you know it. Every time you eat at a bland national chain, you buy into that, you support that. Boycott chains. Support your local Mexican eateries. It’s an embarrassment that generic brand national chains are even listed on a proper foodie website like Unilocal, let alone getting 4 and 5 stars from so called foodies. Wake up, America, before we’re all just batteries in the matrix.

Since I receive coupons in my mailbox from Del Taco along with the fact that it is close to my house, I eat here quite often. I have tried the majority of the menu numerous times and most of the time it is on point. To me, the burritos are the best thing on the menu, especially those huge macho burritos. The tacos are nothing special. Their burgers were okay, though I typically don’t come here for burgers(That would be In-N-Out). The Chili Cheese Fries can be hit or miss. Drive thru waits aren’t very long, but it could take a while if you order inside at the counter. Overall I will continue to eat here. I prefer Del Taco over Taco Bell honestly.
