5 stars for nice selection of materials. But 2 stars for staff. I was amazed at the quantity and quality of scrapbook paper, as well as inks, different mediums, and embellishments. The owner has some of the most astounding samples of paper art and projects I have ever seen. I made a point of being complimentary of the store and her beautiful and creative projects, and was as nice as I can be. My friends and I made a road trip to see some stores, and this was on our list. The lady who helped us started out ok. When we asked if we could buy some kits of a project we liked, she said yes, she had them. Then after we paid for two at 45 bucks a kit, she said she had to put them together and wanted us to come back(100 mile round trip) to assemble them. This was after she said she had the kits. My friend has done projects like this and asked if she could take pictures of the pages after we bought the kits so we could put them together like she had, and she said yes. She then became very frustrated and very rude as she assembled the kits while we waited. And, when we got home, some of the kit was missing. We would have been fine with it if she had said no, she didn’t have any kits, or, if you get a kit, you get it at the workshop and put it together there. But after we paid, we wanted the kit. I had planned to return(bite the bullet and just drive over again) but after the hostility, neither I nor my friends will return either to shop or to do a project. Very sad.
