Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Love the smoothies so far (there are a lot to choose from). And the rustic turkey sandwich is awesome. I plan on trying everything on the menu!

I love this place. I work right down the street, so I stop by every morning to get my morning peanut butter cup with protien powder. It literally taste like a milk shake that is 100% guilt free!!! Happy hour is between the hours 7am — 9am! half price smoothies!!! I highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

I’m a repeat customer and I love this place. Everything I’ve tried has been good, which has been different flavors of wraps and flatbreads. The apple and kale slaw is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Had the thai chicken wrap and it was good, but I would probably try something else next time. I added on a smoothie for $ 3 and it was delicious. There is nothing else like this around, so I will definitely be back

Advertising works! I would have never pulled into this strip mall if not for the coupon I received for Tropical Smoothie Café.
It seemed different and enticing so I decided to try it. WOW! I will be back again, and again, and again.
What I liked: The cilantro taco made with chicken (substituted for the fish) was so tasty and fresh. Literally perfect. My smoothie was made with kale and I’ve forgotten the name of it but it’s at the top of the menu board and was recommended by the young woman on the cash register. Yummy! I could drink one daily. Everything was clean; counters, tables, and bathroom! And, no grease. Nothing is cooked in grease or dripping in sauces. Totally fresh and tasty!
The menu changes every sixty days. I’ll look forward to trying a variety of their menu items.
I love that food is served on a wax paper and reusable tray with a napkin. I’m all about creating less trash by reducing wasteful use of paper products.
What I do not like: It’s not as close to home as I’d like for it to be.

The impressive menu features wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and tacos with flavor combinations from around the world. I tried a feisty feta chicken flatbread and a Korean BBQ steak taco. Both were delicious, generously sized, and reasonably priced. The service was very friendly, and helpful. Very nice!

Tried all of their tacos tonight. The Korean BBQ and the Thai Steak taco were the the best. I will have to come try some more of their food before I can give a reliable review but it was definitely good enough to warrant another try.

Had seen the signage go up a few weeks ago and stopped by on Saturday which was their opening day. I had the chicken pesto flatbread (think folded pita, not pizza) and my wife had the thai chicken wrap. We also had the peanut butter cup smoothie, and they were handing out various samples of their other smoothies. The food was very good and seemed fresh. The smoothies are large and could serve as a snack, dessert or meal replacement. This place is a good alternative to the standard burger/​sandwich joints, especially if you are looking for a healthy alternative. The menu incorporates a variety of ethnic tastes with words like Thai, Baja, Chipolte, Tzatziki, Korean, and Jamaican Jerk. The restaurant is located in a strip of shops near Tanners on 87^th St, between Quivira and Pflumm. I will definately return to try some of the other selections.
