Nasty nasty nasty. Went for a busy Saturday lunch. Food was not hot. Cups were dirty… All 6 of them. Service slow and lax. Never again. Very dirty place!

Walked into the buffet and the food was scarce. They were going to initially sit my family in a room where there was a woman who worked for the restaurant prepping meat at the table(unacceptable). The place was dirty, dishes from the buffet were stacked up in the busser carts. By the time my mind had processed all that was going on, there was little desire left to eat the food.

Busy Saturday nights here and probably the freshest food to order. Sushi and apps were great as we waited for the habachi chef. He was more disorganized then normal. He was rushed and not the best. Fortunately everything came out good.

NEVERAGAIN! First, they sit us down next to some guy who is coughing up from trying to get rid of their pneumonia [this is what his wife told me]. Then, I never knew that asking for a simple glass of water could be so taxing. But that was nothing when compared to asking the Habachi chef for a little bit more butter on my rice [he acknowledged me by saying«yes,» and then proceeded to ignore me as I sat there holding out my rice bowl for over 2 minutes]. I am all for giving some leeway and looking past certain circumstances, but this establishment performs in this manner time after time after time, to the point where I can take it no longer. In all fairness, the chef made a great steak, hence the one star. But bad manners and forgetfulness do not a good staff make. A great steak means nothing if the service ruins your appetite and the experience.

Came here for hibachi for my father in laws birthday. 8 of us total on a Wednesday night so it wasn’t very busy. Started off with beers and cocktails. This place has lots of cocktails and a lot of them were delicious! I forgot the name of my drink but it was dark rum and coconut! Everyone ordered hibachi which comes with soup, salad, and ice cream for dessert. The chef was funny and entertaining! I ordered the deluxe sashimi which came with miso soup, salad, and ice cream as well. Everyone loved their meal from hibachi. I’m glad I got the deluxe sashimi because it was kinda small, I can’t imagine how small the regular sashimi is. Overall every thing was great! The owner was so sweet about holding our cake and surprising my father in law with it. The server was sweet and cute!

Dirty!!! We arrived at noontime, hibachi was empty, and filthy already. The carpet was covered in food, the teapot was covered In dried food. I swear that the old guy doesn’t no the hibachi was intoxicated! He was slurring and his presentation was terrible! He just kept Burning things and laughing… So bizarre. Food was a 2 – 3, but the cleanliness turned me off!

It used to be much better. I don’t know if management has changed, but the place is not as clean as it used to be. The food seems greasier. The buffet table has a nice variety, but most of the signs say Pork… even if it’s clearly shrimp. Went there once evening and it was clear from the smell that there had been smokers in the bar. Since I am very sensitive, I moved to the restaurant to meet up with 4 – 5 colleagues. When we told the waitress we were likely just going to have drinks, she made a face and told us to go to the bar. When I told here they were smoking in there, she just walked away and continued to make faces at us. That being said, the sushi bar is fun and fabulous!

I have nothing negative to say about this place. We come here when we’re in the area, typically for lunch and mai tai’s. The bar area is a little dark, but the bartender is always nice. You can tell it’s mostly occupied with locals who love their chinese drinks! The mai tai’s are really good. I tried the sweet & sour soup, and it was hot and fresh. My boyfriend got the vegetarian delight. The veggies were fresh, and the accompanying sauce was delicious. It doesn’t come with rice, but the portion is huge, so you don’t really need it. The menu has something for everyone, including sushi & a buffet. It’s not the prettiest of places to dine in, but worth a try for traditional chinese fare and drinks.

Just… awful. Maybe the hibachi is good but never tried it. Been here many times… this is the last. First… dirty as hell. Booth was covered in years of soy sauce and food remnants… gross. No joke, almost slipped and fell on the matted ancient greasy carpet near the buffet. Ahh yes… the buffet. What wasn’t empty was old and baked to the pan. Still took a plate but after TWO pieces of something I couldn’t chew I was done. Just hoping I don’t get food poisoning. Waitress was nice and even felt bad… told us we should go to the manager and complain. Not sure why she couldn’t help with that but ok. Went to the manager and explained that the $ 15 buffet wasn’t worth it when it was empty. After a few minutes of poking at the register he slides a new bill over… comped $ 5 off the total. Wow, thanks guy. Covers my soda. What about the food I didn’t eat? Fail. What happened to this place??

Food was greasy and the pork spare ribs tasted like they were almost off. We stopped in for lunch, and should have walked out after looking at the buffet. Instead we sat down and ordered the PuPu platter(waiting to order anything else until we tried the food). After being seated we noticed that the restaurant is filthy. The tables are slimy, the tea pot had food crusted on the outside, and the water glasses were cloudy. The server was also very rude. When we only order the PuPu platter, he just about threw the plates on the table and walked away. Save your money, don’t eat here.

They do a pretty good job! If you’re comparing Chopsticks vs. Singapore(as people in the twin cities tend to do), here’s my take: — Chopsticks has much, much, better service. The people who work there are friendly and actually make you feel like your business is appreciated. — Chopsticks has a Chinese buffet and Singapore does not. We don’t usually order the buffet anyway, but if that’s your thing, then Chopsticks is your place. — Chopsticks has Japanese options, and Singapore does not. Their sushi is actually quite good, and the hibachi is a good time, if not the most exciting menu ever. — The bar at Chopsticks is much less overwhelming than the one at Singapore. Singapore can be kind of scary. Haha — I like the Mai tais, crab rangoons and Peking ravioli slightly better at Singapore.

I have been to this place a couple times, but just with buddies. Took my girlfriend there last nite and she pointed out things I never would have noticed. We just got chinese food, so we sat at the last booth near the window. Then my GF pointed out all the filth… The curtains were filthy and there was dirt all along the floorboards. The glasses for the water were not clean, and the silverware had water spots. We watched as the waiters«cleaned» the table in the middle of the room. the brushed two grains of rice off the table and proceeded to put the place mats down. I can’t imagine what the kitchen must have looked like. You would figure a place that has Chinese nationals working there to pay off their debt would train them to clean, but then again China probably has different standards of cleanliness than the USA. Besides, all the workers have to pile into the white van at 8:30 to be taken to most likely some triple decker in Lowell where 50 of them live until their debt is paid off to the coyotes that smuggled them here. Food was just meh at best.

My family of 4 was heading to Great Wolf Lodge for the weekend and it was late in the evening and the kids were hungry. Drive around a large shopping area and couldn’t decide what to eat. Drove past the typical chain restaurants and fast food places, but off the corner of my eyes, saw a huge sign for hibachi, and my oldest loves hibachi so we decided to give it a shot. I tried plenty of other hibachi places, so what can be so bad. Walked in and said we had 4 people for hibachi. Was told to walk down the hall and check in. Apparently they have the whole restaurant sectioned off for hibachi, buffet, sushi, and Chinese fares? Anyways, the host was no where to be found at the check in station and we waited for about 10 minutes before someone showed up. The place seemed dirty and run down. The equipment was clean so thumbs up, but the floors were dirty and the chairs was beat up. Been to enough hibachi places and this is by far the worst looking one. Anyways we were seated next to a couple. This is typical for a hibachi place to find enough small party so it adds up to about 8 – 10 party before you are served or can place order. Then another party of 3 was seated to the other side of us. They knew the couple to the other side of us and constantly talked back and forth which made things quite uncomfortable while dining. Eh, whatever I can deal with it. Ordered and soon enough the hibachi chef showed up. When you go out for hibachi you expect at lest a half decent show. Hence why I don’t mind paying a lil extra for half decent food. We’ll the show was pretty much non existence. A couple of twist of the spat and knife and couple of veggie tossing and the volcano onion. So typical. That was pretty much it. No entertainment value what so ever. No conversing with the customers. At least the food was half decent. Or maybe I was just hungry. The sauces you typically get; spicy mustard and ginger sauce was bland and flavorless. The salad dressing was salty and bland, and the soup was disgusting. Full of MSG or just way too much salt. Starting to catch on? The only good thing is service and the ice cream that came with the meal, albeit the ice cream was store bought quality. Overall, I should have went to Papa Gino on the other side and got a better meal and paid far less. Last time and would never recommend this place.

YUM! Some people aren’t fond of their sushi but I think it may be the best in the area: and I’m a sushi fanatic. Their avocado, crab salad is AMAZING. Better than any other place I’ve been to. Their fish is always fresh and the sushi chef prepares it perfectly. Somewhat pricey, but worth it. For some reason, I think it’s even better when you sit right at the sushi bar. Their drinks are always good and hibachi is fun, but I think their sushi is better than the hibachi.

Had some-what high expectations that were brought down within seconds. After leaving a sushi bar that had awful service(Sawa), my friends and I ventured here in hopes of grabbing some sushi. Apparently the sushi bar closes at 8 but nowhere did we see this on the website. Second disappointment of the night, coffee is not served here. Really? 2014 and your restaurant doesn’t serve coffee? Third disappointment, past 8 you might as well eat at Sawa for the service is about just as awful. And lastly, unless you’re in the mood for everyone to see how much of a gremlin you can be, don’t sit on the restaurant side. The lighting is horrific. Yet don’t sit on the bar side unless you’re prepared for your ears to fall off. They have open karaōke. All things considered, just stay home.

Needing to kill some time before an early evening movie, we stopped into Chopsticks because it is relatively near the theater. We were one of only a few people in the lounge when we first arrived, but it quickly filled with regulars by the time we were ready to leave. My husband said, «You always get the same vibe from the bar in a Chinese restaurant»(and I think he meant that in a good way!) Wanting to save room for popcorn but still craving a snack, we ordered crab rangoons after marveling at the low price. Well, the price corresponded with the size: 5 small crab rangoons. They should have a small and a large order so one knows what to expect for portion size. Nevertheless, they tasted fine and left us room for movie snacks. My husband enjoyed his mai tai and noted it tasted somewhat different(although every Chinese restaurant makes their own version of a mai tai.) I have enjoyed their weekend buffet with my children many times and always found the food to be fresh and constantly replenished.

Sadly, the entertainment value here was better than the food last night. When my husband and I were here several years ago, I thought it was fantastic… but that assessment may have been influenced by several Head Hunters(which are delicious and potent). We had reservations for a party of 15 and sat in the hibachi/teppenyaki side of the house. While the service was good, all of the food was overcooked. Tough shrimp, dry scallops, and mushy zucchini were not what I was expecting. Timing was also a bit off – one half of our group got started eating before the other, which was a little weird. The soup was great, but not good enough to make up for the disappointment of my entrée. I’d be willing to try this place again based on what I remember from previous visits… hoping last night was just an off night when we were there late and staff were tired.

OK rice. The grease retention in the fried food that pooled in the metal dishes was unacceptable. Kind if pricey too. I appreciated the staff for accommodating us late but the hives I got from the grease(msg?) sealed it. I won’t be back.
