Just stopped by for breakfast before I got a haircut at a barber shop near. What happened to this place? I used to stop by after a haircut, but haven’t been here for a while. It was a decent place for breakfast and usually crowded. It was very quiet when I got there. The food was worst than a typical breakfast place now. Not much service was offered. Food: I saw two young guys cooking in the kitchen. I don’t think they took it too seriously. Although they wore gloves, they were touching everything around — why wore gloves anyway? They spent more time browsing phone in the kitchen while I was there. Waitstaff were cooking their own breakfast without gloves. I have no problem of them chatting and catching up among themselves. I was sitting at the counter and watching the news(Paris attack, unfortunately). They were loud constantly and indifferent to the people around. When I sat down, I was asked if I need the menu — I probably should or how do I know what to order… I was never offered a glass of water. My simple breakfast arrived and no jams for the toast. I didn’t bother to ask. The food was edible. I knew I came to a local breakfast joint. It was much better before. The food was decent and the service was good. The cook before was keeping the kitchen in order with a serious attitude — I appreciated that. The lady who greeted me when I entered seemed to be the owner/manager — she was polite. However, I don’t sense that they as a whole took their job seriously. Best of luck — that’s too bad.

Worst food ever, I got really sick the last time I went there and the service is terrible and the owner is a bombastic loser who treats his employees terribly!!!

The service is sloooowwww! Food keeps getting worse and worse! Way to noisy! I have had the unfortunate experience of having to sit at the counter twice. Waitresses talk over to at the staff behind the counter scraping DIRTYDISHES while you eat! Then because they are to lazy to walk around they pass things back and forth between you and whoever is sitting next to you. I really got sick of the help talking about what they did the night before and how they wish they could leave now.

First, this is my toddler’s favorite place to go when visiting Gramie and Grampie. «Are we going to Fat Boys, mama?» The food is tasty, the prices are right and the service is prompt. My parents are regulars here, and they keep going back. They find the waitstaff to be personable and enjoy bantering and chatting with them. Overall, a good place to drop in for breakfast.

When this place opened it was my favorite. I couldn’t get enough. Sadly, in the years since then the food quality has gone way down. I don’t know if it was sold or new cooks were hired… or they just forgot how to make a good breakfast. They do have freshly squeezed orange juice… which is expensive but oh so worth it. I still go back occasionally hoping the food will improve, but so far I’ve been disappointed. Also, they only take cash.

We came here because of the reviews. It has the *worst* service we have received in the last year in all our eating out. All I can imagine is they may give regular’s good service, but people they don’t recognize they don’t care about. Neither of our meals received correctly. Both the wait to order, and to receive our food was horrible. 3 people came in after us, ordered after us, and were served first. The service was so bad customers had to refill their own drinks. I am hard pressed to find anything positive to say.

What is all the hype about? We went here because of the great reviews. Do not listen to the the reviews. Service was non existent and we had to wait 45 minutes from ordering to get our meal and both of the meal were made wrong. Wait staff welcomed regulars and took their orders before even coming over to us. The turkey club was ordered with onion rings but arrived with fries. The the turkey was real but contained less then 1 slice. No real substance in the sandwich. The cheese omlette was suppose to be made with cheddar but came out with American(1 slice), the toasted was buttered even though I asked for no butter. Refills were non existent and the table next to us got coffee refills 3x by themselves.

Went to fat boys a few weeks ago and loved the whole experience. not today. My fiancé had asked for a few slices of French Toast with bacon since he didn’t want any home fries or coffee and our waitress acted like it was the end of the world. she charged us for a meal with home fries and coffee that he did NOTGET and said we had to get the meal. She treated us like jerks, made us feel unwelcome and didn’t check on us once. I will NEVER go back. So disappointing.

Stopped in for a pre-wedding breakfast recently. Reviews were right on par. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. The food was also really good. Great atmosphere. I’d recommend the Eggs Irish, the Hash is delicious and homemade.

Huge portions and delicious! I had their steak and cheese which was actually like a full order of steak tips anywhere else in an omelette, the potatoes rock too. I literally had three meals out of this plate. My husband ordered the breakfast that had some of all of their offerings, which was unbelievable, sooo much food and enormous pancakes. Service was friendly, and the customers all seem to be regulars and friendly as well. Just remember to bring cash, and not have to run put to the ATM down the street during the meal, lol!

Not a great place to eat, kinda ghetto too! Food is sloppy and not usually done how I ask it to be done, not worth the small amount of money it comes too.

what more can you say great food, great people, and great prices I have gone a couple times with my parents now(they go there every sunday morning, and probably every other friday night) Out meals me: I got the ‘meat lovers breakfast’ came with two slices of bacon, two sausages(the big homemade kind, not frozen breakfast sausage), a big chunk of ham, home fries, toast, three eggs(i went over easy), and coffee. — needless to say, it was more food than I could eat. The cook is great though, very fast, very thorough. All the food is made from scratch, made to order as you would expect.(except the bread — they get that from a bakery) mom: veggie omelet with home fries and toast. the omelet was HUGE. it took up most of her plate, and was about 1.5″ tall. It had TONS of fresh veggies in it. She was only able to finish half of it, and brought the other half and most of her home friends home for Izzy the beagle dad — eggs benedict with toast and hash browns too. HUGE once again, and he loves it. said he gets it probably every other time. Great service from nicole, the owner is always around, and the place is PACKED. the best thing, with all that food, too much to eat — $ 22 total Definitely go if you are in the area — just not when I am trying to find a table!

This is a great little place that has really good prices. The food was great, my only stipulation was that my veggie omelet had broccolli that wasn’t cooked enough and there was far too much onions but it tasted great. I would recommend they cut up the pieces a little smaller. We loved the place though, we’ll definitely go back.
