Global Fitness Center

This is a great gym. The reviews below this are pretty old– I’ve been a member for several years and have never had a problem parking and the gym is always clean. Good selection of equipment and usually no problem getting to any of it. Locker rooms are clean and in good shape. Staff is always friendly. Monthly fee is extremely reasonable.

Wow. This place is absolutely disgusting. I don’t think I have ever worked out at a facility that is dirtier than this one.
The locker rooms, equipment, and facility are all entirely unclean.
You get what you pay for. $ 15 a month with no commitment sounds great on paper, but when you walk in the door you’ll see why you pay so little.
Save yourself from contracting a rare skin disease, athletes foot, or the flu and work out somewhere else.
Unless you want to get sick, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Global Fitness Center in Leominster is a great gym. Lots of pretty girls. Roomy. Great classes. Great place to work out.
On the negative side is the parking. It can be terribly packed at peak times. Its very annyoying not to be able to park at all some times.
Overall, great gym, great place.

i think this is a very nice club for the money. My main complaints are that the music is deafeningly loud (i have permanent tinnitus now), and the instructors push hard. i wish more of the instructors instead encouraged people to not overwork themselves and to listen to their bodies.
For a little bit more money i changed to a gym with more low-​impact, low-​stress fitness options since i ended up with a herniated disc that i think may be the result of pushing myself too hard at Global Fitness.

I was a part time employee of this gym for a few years while I was in college, and it’s a shame that I didn’t really get to fully appreciate how great a gym this place really is until I moved from the area and tried to find a place HALF as good as Global. I couldn’t really know, until I tried to find a gym to go to as a member myself, how far superior Global is to 99% of the gyms/​health clubs in existence.
Global is clean, has modern equipment, knowledgeable and certified trainers, a friendly and attentive front desk, and professional sales reps. I’ve lived several places since I used to work out at Global, and I am consistently disappointed whenever I look for a new gym. Unless you are in a financial position to spend 90 bucks a month, you’re not going to find a gym in the same league as Global Fitness.
