We went to this place on a Tuesday afternoon. There was no hostess to seat us. The previous owners had wonderful Brunswick Stew, so we ordered that When the Stew arrived at our table, it was watery and tasteless. Brunswick Stew is suppose to be very flavorful and the consistency of cream chowder. Again, it was neither. I ordered a deluxe hamburger with fries to supplement my meal. When I received my meal, the fries and hamburger were so greasy, I could not eat them. After five minutes, I spoke with the server about it and she brought me the nastiest and most horrible baked beans I have ever tasted in my life. I would never return to this place. I don’t advise it unless you like eating at one of the worst greasy spoon restraints in North Carolina.
