Love, love, LOVE this place. Every single person in this salon is so talented and so welcoming. I am a senior at UK and call Louisville my home base. I needed a place in Lexington to have my hair cut; this turned out to be quite a feat.
I didn’t know if I could trust anyone like I did the salon I visited in Louisville for over 10 years. Hairport went above and beyond my expectations! I received a perfect haircut and ended up purchasing some of their Oribe hair care products (highly recommend)!!

I’m from Boston, and I was extremely nervous to try a new eyebrow person, but because of the reviews I decided to try Fatima. It was a huge mistake! For starters, Fatima is very arrogant in her abilities. This led to her doing what she thought was best and not what I asked. I went in with very thick eyebrows, came out with the complete opposite. Her only response was that everyone loved the way she did her eyebrows and everyone else requested that size. I felt so insulted. Please beware!

Bridget did a great job on my haircut (male). Very personable staff. Nice location. I’ll be back.

Fatima is nothing short of amazing! She talks to you about how you want your eyebrows to look, and always makes them look beautiful and natural. She’s working with me right now to grow mine out since I had been over plucking them for. I’ve been to several different people before for waxing, and no one has ever talked with me in so much detail and taught me how achieve the perfect eyebrow. I will never get my eyebrows waxed again! The shape that she gives my brows with threading is amazing. She’s a little expensive but totally worth every penny.

Eyebrow Threading at Hairport
I am new to Lexington (transplanted from Wash, DC). I would routinely get my eyebrows threaded at a place in Dupont Circle. I didn’t expect there to be a big market for threading in Lexington and was delightfully surprised to find that Fatema Lewis at Hairport offers threading.
From booking my appointment to arriving to the threading to the checkout process? Everyone was great. The receptionist (Caitlyn, I think was her name) was delightful over the phone and in person. And Fatema was very nice. She took the time to ask if I’d had threading done before and how I wanted my brows shaped. She did a very nice job and recommended how often I should be getting them shaped.
I didn’t get a hair cut, waxing, or any manicures/​pedicures so I cannot speak to that aspect of Hairport’s business. But I will definitely be going back to see Fatema again.

I come here when I’m home visitng, but I wish they were right next door. For getting eyebrows done, there is no better than Fatima. The first time I ever got threaded was here, and I’ve been a convert ever since. No threading is painless, but she has the best technique I’ve ever experienced. It feels more like just scraping the hair off. Plus, she’s quick and sweet, sweet, sweet. My mom comes here to have her hair done, and she always remembers and asks about her. For hair, my mom really likes Troy. She said she feels he always takes his time and really listens to what she wants.
