We stayed here last year for the Rolex weekend and booked it for our 2016 stay because it was clean, convenient to the Horse Park and inexpensive. Sadly, it seems to have gone downhill in just one year. Some of the same nice employees work here and the breakfast is good. But our room smelled bad, the Internet is terribly slow and the tvs have a weird analog connection. Unless we hear that the hotel has had a major upgrade, we will be staying elsewhere for our annual trip next year.

This deserves negative stars. We came here, with a unsatisfying first impression. The building looked very sketchy. The customers in the«lobby» were not in the same place as we are, signaling this«hotel» may be bad. Shrugging, we continued our journey. Going up to the rooms we were pleasantly surprised, the beds didn’t look half bad and the bathroom looked live able. The second sign of a disgusting place was the filth in the mini fridge. The last sign, was a bedbug found in our room. A beetle lay on the floor. We quickly left with a bedbug and beetle in a ziploc as evidence against this inn. We ran downstairs and talked to the very polite customer representative. Nothing negative towards him, he nodded and gave us a full refund. As we were leaving to ruin the«fun» he said«don’t worry, bugs come at this time of the season» yes bugs do. But not bed bugs. Hmmmmm. Very unhappy with our stay and very disappointed with this place. Will not stay here ever again or ever recommend it. One of the worst descions of my life, coming to this place would be a horrible option which you will regret.

Giving 4 stars for what it is. Cheap, comfortable & clean. Not a 4 star hotel, more like 2 star(a room and an outdoor pool). Although an old motel, my room was clean with a good bed, soaps etc, HGTV, Fridge and Microwave.

Some Might freak out, when you drive up. Seems a bit old, looks like it needs some paint, the door on the left side of the driveway looks like a storage room with and aging piece of paper pointing across the driveway. The door to the main lobby is real worm aluminum. Hmm… where am I going? The front desk is like any other front desk, nice counter, free newspapers and the ever present little flyer cards tof stuff in the area. The clerk was beyond friendly and polite and helpful and open with opinions. I needed an opinion on the kentucky derby, which was the following day. I got a lot of opinion on that one. Back to the hotel. The entry into the lot and rooms goes under an arch and the asphalt is worn. OK not looking too good, but keep your eye on the ball. I go to the room and find a huge(at least 42 inch) tv. a fridge /freezer that I do not have to unplug because it is noisy, a microwave, granite counters and bath. I wonderful cooler that is quite and easy to operate. Well The room is where I spent my time and it was very nice. inside. The road noise is constant, so if that bothers you move on. for me — nothing interupts my sleep, so I was fine. Your call — Enjoy

Not particularly clean but ok. Wet coffee cup. Dusty coffee cup tray. Hasn’t been wiped in a few days. The sheets were funky. Oversized and crumbled around the base of the matress. Charged me a $ 3.00 fee for a safe that wasn’t listed when I asked the front desl the cost. The continental breakfast was 2 kinds of cereal, a bagel or danish, fruit cocktail out of a can, coffee. They could have at least had a fresh apple or banana. Pretty bare bones. Next time in Lexington I’ll use priceline and will bet that for a $ 70 bid I can do a lot better.
