I enjoy supporting local business and I’ve heard so much about soul good however my first visit was a little disappointing. We ordered a Thai pizza, a crab Rangoon flat bread appetizer which was $ 10, also a French onion soup. I only liked the French onion soup, the other two were too sweet for my taste. The price is on the high side for the portion and quality. I would prob come back and give another try though.

First time at this location. Small and quiet at lunch. Friendly wait staff. I had the Asian Crunch Salad — pulled chicken, Romaine, cabbage, carrots, crispy wontons and rice noodles, peanuts, with sesame ginger dressing. I liked the addition of the wontons and rice noodle as they gave the salad the crunch factor. The idea of pulled chicken didn’t entice me, so the waitress offered me sliced chicken breast(for an extra charge, of course). The ratio of «stuff» to greens was generous, which made this a very good, satisfying salad.

This review is long overdue as Saul Good is one of my favorite establishments in all of Lexington! I’ve been coming here since high school. Until this day it still remains one of my go to spots. The interior is absolutely beautiful. Chandeliers and golden framed mirrors trick me into thinking that I’m a princess dining in a palace. There are comfy booths and tables to accommodate intimate as well as large parties. There’s a great selection of pizza. They’ve got a few interesting ones besides the traditional cheese and pepperoni. They make their dough from scratch. It’s thin crusted and generously topped with cheese, meats, veggies, and condiments of your choice — just the way I like it. If you come with a group, I recommend going family-style, so you can experiment and sample a few different pizza. My favorite is probably the Thai pizza. I love the concept of incorporating Asian cuisine into something that is the epitome of Western cuisine. It’s topped with chicken, bean sprouts, carrots and cilantro — so you can get daily serving of both veggies and meat! The peanuts and lime balance out the flavor and keep it refreshing and light. The peanut and chili-garlic sauce give it a sweet and savory flavor that completely satisfies my taste buds. Besides pizza, I also enjoy the chef’s special — Chicken and Waffle. Chicken and waffle is the ultimate comfort food and Saul Good does it right! The waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and topped with two large pieces of fried chicken and drizzled with maple syrup. The chicken is fried to crispy on the outside but inside is still juicy and tender. The only thing I’d wish for is a bit more seasoning on the chicken. The dish comes with extra maple syrup on the side so no need to ever feel guilty about asking for more. I have never left this place disappointed and I believe that you won’t be either. I look forward to my future visits and hopefully have a drink or two during the happy hour.

Burgers, salads, pizza can all be found here. For higher price tag you can get some fancy dishes as well. There are 3 locations in Lexington. This one is behind Fayetteville Mall. Probably the best thing on the menu is the fondue. It may run 15.00 but will feed about 3 – 4. Great for a girls night out after stop to feed your sweet tooth. The pizza is pretty good. I’ve tried the buffalo chicken tenders and the buffalo has a good flavor it just burns me up. The good deal is if there is a snow day and school is called off they have 50% off kids meals. They will do some things to give back to the community as well.

12÷29÷15 came here for dessert and sat at the bar, Evan took great care of me the last time and this time. Great service and great staff. 12÷22÷15 sat at the bar, and had a great experience, ordered the crab ragoon flatbread and a side of Cesar salad. It was delicious. Great service and great staff! Came here on a Tuesday night with friends, they have this awesome event going on when you purchase an entrée, you get an envelope that contains a potential winning secret prize from an apple mini to a free dessert. My friend ordered turkey Cobb sandwich, and another friend ordered Saul meat pizza which is like a meat lovers pizza. And I ordered the Argentinian pizza with caramelized onions and jalapeños on top. It was very very good and I’d highly recommend trying it this way if you’ve never tried it. My friends really loved their food and the service here was quick and our server, Kerry was very attentive and took care of all our needs.

I love this restaurant! I love the ambiance, the menu options, and the staff is always friendly. I came for lunch after shopping at the mall and had the French onion soup and the small wedge salad. The soup was so good! I had it a few years ago and I remember not being very happy with it, it was not good, I think they were trying to put their own twist on it or something. However this time I had it it was traditional and delicious! The wedge salad was good too, I got the dressings on the side(it comes with balsamic and blue cheese). I only used the balsamic because it had blue cheese crumbles already. I have had the steak and portobello salad and that is delicious as well. They have items from chicken and waffles, pizza’s, steaks, burgers, and sandwiches! You will not be disappointed!

Locally Owned establishment with 3 locations in Lexington. They offer great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Anything you order here will be good, you can’t go wrong. Their salads are great because they chop it small enough and premix it for you so that every bite has a bit of everything in it. Like there was a science behind eating process. Very impressive to the attention to detail. They have great pizzas and burgers as well. The best thing on their menu is their beer cheese nachos. They have an impressive beer and drink menu as well. Love their food in general and their service. I have been to this location a few time but have never had a bad experience. This fact alone is rare for me. I recommend asking what their special is for sure. It isn’t on their menu but it usually is a couple of unique items they offer for a month. I would recommend this anytime.

One of my favorites. Great atmosphere. Great food. I have never had a meal that didn’t exceed expectations. Good spot for business meetings and catering. Finally tried the chicken and waffles. I’ll probably get that moving forward. The staff is friendly. Actually met the owner who was super nice too.

I’m sure that I’m articulate enough to give this restaurant high enough praise. The culmination of fresh ingredients and skilled culinary artists makes this for the best place to jump in and grab a delicious bite. I personally tried the Szechwan Steak sandwich and the Rosemary Chicken pizza and they were amazing. As if their food wasn’t enough of a reason to drop in, their bartenders are skilled in the way that all bartenders should be. Using only fresh and quality ingredients they’ll make your cocktail better than you’ve ever had it. I recommend the Strawberry Old Fashioned made with Bulleit Rye whiskey, real simple syrup and real fresh strawberries. If liquor isn’t your thing then check out their 16 craft beers on tap. The wait staff was attentive and the floor manager stopped by and chatted for a bit about the beers after we showed interest and he was knowledgeable. Also our server Haley was amazing and we never wanted for anything as she was prompt and attentive. A must try if your in the area.

Me and The Squad rolled up looking to get sorted out with some good turn-up and good food before we went and saw that cannibal movie over at the mall theater(I have not seen it yet but I will try to review it after I watch it if I can)(but to be honest I am kinda dreading it because it sounds gross)(I hope I don’t barf???) anyway I liked Saul good and our waitress was really nice and good too and now I have to go because I have to watch the inferno or whatever it is. Ok then…

Saul Good did it again! They master the example of a five star restaurant. The guy that owns Saul Good must be a genus, because what he’s created with the three local SGs is amazing. This was my first time at this location. I usually avoid the mall area like the plague, so that’s my excuse. It’s not actually attached to the mall, just near it… closer to the Regal Cinema though. One of my favorite things about all of the SG locations… the half priced HAPPYHOUR! Every day of the week from 3−6pm, including the weekends there is something offered at half price, so it’s not your ordinary happy hour. For example, Friday-Sunday it’s half off of their 16 draft beers. Monday is pizza, Tuesday is their specialty drinks, Wednesday is chocolate desserts and bottles of wine, and Thursday is Baja Fish Tacos, Corona Beer and margaritas. The specialty cocktail list rotates, I think twice a year. For their cocktail fall menu, the bar tender told us that there will be several apple drinks. We sat at the bar and watched as they made several concoctions and they all looked amazing! I’ll be waiting for the new menu. The service was great too. I ordered the hand-tossed BBQ chicken pizza. The crust, sauce, toppings and everything were perfect. It comes with a suttle amount of bleu cheese. My husband doesn’t like bleu cheese, but he raved about the it too. He ordered a burger and he complimented it too. I love the open kitchen concept, so you can see them preparing food, it’s not hidden away in the back somewhere to make you wonder if your food is being properly prepared.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Staff is unfriendly and rude. Also the food is nothing to go back for– pretty bland.

I ordered the chicken and waffle because I heard it was really good. However, it was okay in my opinion as my standard for it was a restaurant that specializes in chicken and waffles in Houston that knocks your tastes buds off. However, looks like from other people’s ordered, a good selection of bar food.

I’ve been to Saul Good several times and I’ve always come home pretty full and happy. First, Saul Good offers several different wines and beer to choose from, which is great. I always order the Crab Rangoon flatbread. It is awesome and is good for sharing with friends. I also either get the Tuna Salad Sandwich with a pita bread and the shoestring fries seasoned with Cajun seasonings and a sprinkle of parsley. Or, I get either the Hot Brown or Thai pizza. In addition, I can’t go home without the getting the Bananas Foster’s Waffle for dessert. It isn’t overly too sweet and is always nice and hot. The vanilla ice cream of course is the icing on the cake. Never been disappointed whenever I go here. Also the service is usually great!

Ate dinner at a different location last night, and my friend asked to go here for lunch the next day! It was so good for dinner I was totally up for trying it again for lunch! 2 of us got the Big Breakfast — potatoes were crisp(perfect!) eggs were good and the waffle was awesome! But the bacon was very limp — ask for crispy next time! Another nice experience at Saul Good!

My husband and I went here for the first time to celebrate his birthday and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very nice while also being comfortable, service was prompt, the food was great, and prices were VERY reasonable. It did get a little it loud with so many people and music playing at a considerable volume, but it didn’t bother us and we were easily able to have a conversation. I had the Turkey Cobb sandwich and my husband had a pizza with steak, pesto, mushrooms, etc. Both were very flavorful. They also had a really good beer selection with 16 beers on tap, including quite a few from local breweries, which we always enjoy. Since it was his birthday, my husband was able to get a 5 oz. beer of any on tap for $ 1 and receive a discount on his entrée(for however old you are, you get that percentage off). Because we were there on a Thursday, they were also offering half-price margaritas, Coronas, and fish tacos. Additionally, Saul Good is a sponsor of the Iron Horse Half Marathon(a local race) and we are always happy to spend our money at places that are invested and involved in the community. I’m really impressed with Saul Good and look forward to returning! Right now they are also offering a deal on Amazon Local, which essentially cuts their already low prices in half(it’s $ 11 for a $ 22 credit that you can use on both food and drinks). I absolutely recommend them!

This place is solid. I don’t live in or near Lexington(my brother does) so I’m not super well-versed in how it compares to other eateries in the area but I’ve been here twice for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I got the same thing both times, the portobello sandwich, but the most recent visit(last night) I ordered sweet potato fries with honey mustard(my most newish favorite flavor combination). The sandwich/burger was delicious as always and the sweet potato fries were divine. We ordered a couple of beers, I don’t recall what the bro had(a local brew, I think it was the West 6thIPA) but they had Stella Artois on tap so that’s what I had. For vittles, my brother had the Texas burger which he said was insanely delicious(I’m paraphrasing) and very, very hot. As in spicy. Ah and he also had a French onion soup that was also devoured in a rather immediate fashion. We ate at the bar which was fun. The place was packed, we got there at around 8pm I think it was. Dare I say this is my favorite place I’ve been taken to in Lexington thus far? Yes, I probably think so. Our entire bill before tip was like $ 45. That’s for an appetizer soup, two entrees and four beers. Not bad. When they brought out our food, my plate had a side of mashed potatoes on it instead of sweet potato fries. I didn’t care, I wasn’t going to say anything, but our waittress/bartender noticed immediately and had them whip me up a fresh batch o’sweet potato fries. So nice of her. And the name of the place is just so damn clever.
