I absolutely love this place! Service is top notch and wait, it gets better, this place serves up outstanding food! The menu has just about everything to offer! If you’re looking for a great place to have dinner and pints this is your place! Did I forget to mention they have every game on football Sunday’s! I say yes! I will be back!!!

Sup sup!!! Me and The Squad rolled up to get sorted out with a good Sunday turn-up and The Side did NOT let us down baby! My old lady got herself hooked up with a grilled chicken salad and I got fixed up with a vegan burger with beer cheese on it and when we ordered our waitress was so nice and she was just like«Gotchu fam!» 10 minutes later she sorted us right out with some of that Southside good good. Southside is our local turn-up so The Squad will be back REAL soon baby!

Just ate here for the Sunday brunch. The food itself was actually excellent for the price. It was a wide variety of standard southern lunch and breakfast fare. Most of the food was nothing too special but nothing was terrible. The one star is for the service. We were never served, a waitress or waiter never came out to get drinks or even silverware. We had to beg a waitress to getsilverware, in which she complied after huffing while turning away. Not once during the meal did anyone offer a drink or come bus our table. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. I had to go to the bartender and tell him what my party ordered and pay there because a server never appeared.

This is a challenging review because Southside Pub has nothing to hate and nothing to outright love. The staff are warm enough, the beer cold enough. Aside from the modest beer tap and various light beer bottles, the palatable pints run $ 3 – 5 and mixed drinks go $ 4 – 8. The place has pretty damn good bar food… Folks of all ages scene it up each night, the smashed-together-barstools will fill and a good time will be had. Something about the location is both damning and glorious for me since I live within walking distance to the place. Wish it stayed open later during the week. Probably good it does not. I love corn. Do you love corn? When was the last time you ate corn on its own? The Southside is corn. Solely satisfying but so much better with a little something extra. Stop the presses, they’ve got Taco Tuesdays! There’s the salted butter. Four stars.

When I go into a bar, I want to like it. I mean the food was good as well as the beer. But other than one or two of the waitresses the service was terrible. When a member of my group addressed the management of our issue the manager became belligerent and rude. I will regretfully not be back until they are under new management.

This place is awesome to watch a Cats game! The food is pub food so don’t expect gourmet. I will say however they have fantastic burgers and their dry rub wings are probably the best in town. If your not sure what to get I would stick with the burgers wings chicken wrap quesadillas and their salads are yummy too, and big! The waitresses are so nice and they are fast too, heather is especially our favorite! Best service when she is waiting on you! They offer buffets on game days but we always stay away from it and get a meal because the quality isn’t there on the buffet… obviously it has to be about quantity! I can’t fault them on that too much! #BBN

This joint has been around for a long time and was previously Caddyshacks many years ago. They have updated the place since then which has allowed for more tables to be put out. I haven’t eaten here the last few times we’ve been in. They do have West 6th and Country Boy brewery on tap. We’ve been here to watch the band Kung Fu Grip play. It’s a nice little place to see a band play. Given its smaller naturally it’s going to be loud. Management su Hope ls realize this if they are wanting live bands. If you haven’t seen Kung Fu Grip you should! A funky little band they plays everything! From Prince, to Jungle Love, to Faith, to The Wobble, to Its Hot in here. Lots of dancing to be had! Fun night!

I ordered the Greek salad, my boyfriend ordered French dip, and we shared a jalapeño and cheese pretzel. The pretzel was probably the best of it, but none of it was very good. The«gyro meat»(more like lunch meat) on my salad was COLD, and slimy and just not what I was expecting at all. We werent sure what the meat on the french dip sandwich was, we called it Mystery meat because it was so strange. Chunks of some kind of beef with cheese melted in. We rarely ever leave more than half of our food on the plate, but we did here. They have a nice outdoor seating area and I’m sure it’d be fun to come watch a local band play or enjoy some cold beer in the summer, but I would not come back for the food!

Beer served really cold and best chicken strips in Lexington. Cool family atmosphere during the day and week night evenings, lots of games for the kids. Weekends have fun music scene. Really friendly staff

One of my favorite places to go for something cheap and delicious. Dogs, wings, TVs, billiards/games, and full bar.

As I walked in, I noticed a sign that said«all you can eat catfish» and even though I don’t eat catfish, I wanted to love this place. The menu was very diverse, from flatbread pizza, fish and chips to pepper jack cheese balls. We started off with the cheese fries, they were $ 5 during happy hour(M-F until 7). Then I ordered the buffalo chicken nachos, I think they were $ 8.95. I started eating them and then noticed the bottom of the plate was covered in grease or sauce, making the bottom layers of the chips soggy. My daughter enjoyed her cheese burger which was huge. The soda was $ 3 and even though the happy hour includes«domestic beers» they don’t consider West Six as domestic… just a couple of quarrels that I have. The service was excellent though, the waitress was very understanding that I didn’t like the nachos and explained that they make the chips fresh to order so some of the grease, along with some of the buffalo sauce fall to the bottom. Pardon me while I go have a heart attack just thinking about it again. A burger meal, two beers, and an order of cheese fries $ 35 with tip, just a bit much for a pub especially during happy hour. If I do go back, I’ll try the fish and chips or pizza.

This place could be the ultimate spot for sports watching if it weren’t for the horrible service. Food is good but not having a beer for ten minutes can really ruin an experience. Tried this place twice trying to give it another chance but they failed both times. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Best Reuben I’ve ever had. Ever. I even went up to the cook and shook his hand after i ate it. That’s how good it is. The other meals here are quite good also. I’d give it five stars, but the tables are not always the cleanest. But, it’s a bar. It is what it is, and if you want great food, you can find it here.

We came here on Tuesday, live team trivia and taco night. Okay, the $.75−2 tacos are quite alluring, though they’re just an upgrade from taco bell. I love cheap food, i just wish I could have some salsa, not the packet hot sauce. They do not skimp on the ground meat or cheese, the chicken ones are dry. There are also $ 3 margaritas, which were quite refreshing and an above average size for the price. That’s my kind of thing– cheap food and drinks with entertainment. If you’re not par with that, there is an extensive menu of other alluring items. If you get a burger, they give you a ton of fries! The downside, i know the place was busy, and we were lucky to even snatch a table up just as someone was leaving, but we waited for easily 15+ minutes before we even saw a waitress near us, she cleaned and wiped our table off and said she was actually the bartender and would get our server. We waited about 10 more minutes before we went to the bar to order drinks. I wanted a drink, i could wait on the food because we were waiting for a couple of friends to still show up. As we ordered at the bar, the server came up and asked if we needed anything. I told her we had ordered drinks at the bar, would like food when our friends arrived. She said fine, and walked away. Long story short, the bartender took the role as our server. Thank goodness. She was great and very attentive. It’s good to know that this place does have good service, we just were seated in the area with a bad waitress. I don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot but a simple greeting goes a long way in my book.
