This location gets so crowded that it is often impossible to find a place to sit, the staff aren’t very friendly, and the parking lot is awful. However, they are fairly quick, I like the interior(more unique than most Starbucks locations), and they have always gotten my drink right, so I can’t be too down on them. I wish they would add a drive-through though to cut back on the battle for parking spots as well as the chaos inside.

Decent size inside with some seating outside. This one is nice that is close to lots of other shops. Only downside is that it doesn’t have a drive thru. Interior is a bit darker than other locations but has a very industrial feel to it.

This is a hipster Starbucks. Incredibly modern with sleek walls, industrial lighting, and wannabe stylish hipsters mixed in with elderly businessmen. Maybe it’s the proximity to the university or surrounding neighborhood, but I was a bit overwhelmed. People seemed friendly, though, with the exception of the hipster customer and hipster bartender talking loudly back and forth while I stood between them. Oh, and that woman who went ahead and stole the only parking spot I could maneuver my giant [rented] car into even though I clearly had my blinker on indicating my intentions. That parking lot is horrendous — the spots are teeny tiny and there’s no room to drive around! The barista was kind enough to remake my drink when I realized I forgot to specify soy instead of dairy. Yet, the matcha powder was all over the lid of my cup, causing me to wipe green powder off my hands and all over my iPad. How a mixed drink got powder on the outside of the lid, I don’t know. At least the seating outside was nice and comfortable. And the girl that sat nearby welcomed me to town. Eh. It’s Starbucks. Typical.

Normally I would say this is my favorite(and the only one with a Clover) Starbucks but today with no line they took forever and had to redo my clover coffee… not even a custom drink. The baristas didn’t really seem to know what they were doing and were too busy socializing. There was a senior barista who knew what he was doing and I heard him try to make it right by giving me a free drink but they never offered it to me or said anything when I picked up my coffee.

I’m a big supporter of locally owned shops so big chains don’t always rank that high on my list of places to visit. Starbucks is one of those places that I don’t visit very often but I can’t deny the fact that this location has the convenience factor going for it. This is one of the three coffee-shops that is within 1-mile distance from UK campus, the only one with outdoor seating and also happens to be the closest one to my apartment. This location was recently renovated. It has a modern interior and it is very well lit at night time but it’s too dark during the day time for getting work done. It’s also a bit louder than some of the other coffee shops I go. Since I spend long hours working indoors, I prefer the outdoor seating to enjoy my drink. I always see customers with their dogs coming here to grab a drink and this adds a cozy neighborhood atmosphere to this location. Because they can’t take their dogs inside, I get to play with these lovely friends, which is definitely a plus. I’m somewhat disappointed that they don’t carry any doggy treats inside to keep my furry friends happy. Drinks here are your standard Starbucks drinks. They come out quickly and they are consistent in quality.

Parking is a nightmare! The parking lot has tiny spaces and is often 100% full. Totally not worth trying to navigate this nightmare just for Starbuck’s coffee!

Very friendly staff and not much of a wait. While I’m not a big fan of their coffee I do love those frappuccinos. Oh those frappuccinos! I’ll be back.

I really enjoy Starbucks products eventhough I dont like supporting a corporate behemoth. What I really want to say is that I had to park on the street, feed the meter, walk past the full parking lot… and then as I am drinking my venti I notice a barista walking to her car parked right next to the front door! Really?!? How bout you park on the street and leave the lot for the people who pay your salary!

i feel bad that i like starbucks. i feel like it makes me more of a yuppie and in a way, i suppose it does but if you want to up your yup, i say scurry on into a starbucks. starbucks is a corporate giant & it’s everywhere but i respect that they sell reusable travel mugs and have non discriminatory hiring policies.
